I'm using a sylvania tablet ,running 2.1. Can someone help please
New to Android OS.
settings - applications - development - check usb debugging
use usb debugging , setting > aplication > usb debugging
I'm having the same problem USB debugging IS checked so I then uncheck and recheck it. I've done this 15 times. Also rebooted. Any tips on getting this root app to work?
Thanks

I'm trying to debug on my Galaxy Tab for the App development I do at work, but the Galaxy Tab simply won't attach to the debugger, I click debug it just uploads the app and runs it the same as "Run" does.
I have USB debugging enabled on the device.
Normally I do this development from my HTC Desire but that works fine (and is rooted).
Can anyone suggest a solution for the Tab, will rooting it fix the problem?
In the devices popup (when in manual mode for run configs) the Desire shows Debug "Yes" but the tab just has nothing (blank) in the debug box.
Any ideas? I need a solution asap please.
revolutionary did not detect my phone any video or other method to get root? help me out please
Make sure you're phone is on usb debugging mode:
settings > applications > development, make sure usb debugging is checked.
Also make sure you have this driver installed if you're using a pc.
do i put it in charge or USB
or sync
no luck with it
on your phone, press the menu button, then go to settings, then go to applications, then go to development, then check the usb debugging box.
after that you can use the alpharev tool as instructed.
ok unchecked it then re checked it and worked
Glad I could help
Quick heads up for interested in transferring files via your computer. For me, my Windows 7 computer wasn't plug and play for some reason. It charged my Idol 3 and saw files in PTP mode but MTP mode was didn't successfully download the drivers. I tried downloading the drivers from Alcatel's website but they are outdated from the looks of things.
I had to do the following. Just documenting it in case it is a common occurrence to save someone else an hour of tinkering:
Settings > About Phone > Tap 'Build # 7 times > go to Developer Mode > Enable USB Debugging > Connect phone to computer > Change from MTP mode to Drivers CD ROM mode > Install Driver
The drivers are different from the website RAR file I am guessing because a) they worked for me and b) they have a more recent timestamp compared to the website version (2013 vs 4/2015)
So are saying no download of driver is needed? Just developer mode activated?

No. The driver needed is in the phone already and I had to enable dev mode to enable debug mode to enable my phone to be recognized by my computer. After that I manually downloaded the driver (just double clicked an EXE file correlated to my Windows version type)

If I click on the "usb mode" in notifications it lets me select 4 things..mtp, ptp, charging only and cdrom/driver mode. I'm pretty sure that option was there before I enabled debugging but not 100% certain.

It's definitely possible that you can just go through cd rom/driver mode. I read this post and assumed that I had to enable dev mode to get my idol 3 to be recognize in driver mode and then I could download the driver
I have such a problem with this phone that after connecting with a USB cable, windows does not recognize it. Are there any USB drivers for this phone?
Its should be recognised and drivers installed automatically. File transfer mode won't be activated straight away until you change connection settings (default is only charging) - if you are wondering - phone storage is not showing up.

I change the connection settings but it has no effect. The drivers are not installing. For the same port (the first time) I connect POCO X3 and the drivers install automatically, everything works.
Are you on windows 10?
Download driver. -> Windows Device manager -> Ports (COM) -> Right click one with yellow triangle -> Update Driver -> Browse my Computer -> folder you saved driver (extract .rar/zip beforehand). You might need to disable driver signature by going to advanced start up settings.
I activated developer mode and set the USB behavior in it as needed
Hey guys,
As the title suggests I've updated my 8T from OO11 to OO13 and now my phone isn't recognised in my computer at all
Nothing comes up in device manager when I plug the phone into the computer
I've tried
- 3 different usb ports
- 2 different usb a to c cables
- USB debugging is enabled
- Installed oneplus drivers
- Installed google usb drivers
- Switching default USB configuration to MTP
- Using MTP, PTP, No data transfer
Still nothing is showing up in device manager
The phone charges when connects to the computer, it doesn't prompt me to allow USB debugging on my phone, despite revoking old usb debugging authorizations
I need to use adb commands to enable volte using the Shizuku method but I can't do that as the phone isn't recognised at all
If anyone could help that'd be great, otherwise I'll have to rollback to OO11 and use the pdc method
Thanks in advanced!
