[Wallpaper] A simple wallpaper - Eee Pad Transformer Themes and Apps

I made this wallpaper for myself since I got bored of the ones that came with the tablet already. Nothing spectacular, but I thought since I made it, may as well share it. The jpg version is just a preview by the way. Full size version is in the zip.

This is great! I like the blue one.

Nice, thank you.

[Live Wallpaper] Plasma

Hi all,
The past few weeks I've been working on a new live wallpaper for the Nexus One. Now that it's nearing completion, I figured I'd share it here and gather some feedback. It runs very smoothly for me, and has a ton of options. I put it in the Market a few days ago -- you can find it pretty easily by just searching for "clangen" or using the attached QR code.
Although I created my forum account some time ago, I apparently haven't been active enough and am permitted from adding URLs to my post -- maybe some friendly mod here can help me out?
At any rate, the screenshots don't really do it justice, so I uploaded a short demo video in ogg/theora format (should play out of the box in FF and Chrome):
http://plasma.clangen.org/images/plasma.ogg
You can also grab the latest build from the website:
http://plasma.clangen.org
If a mod can help me out I'll post some direct links to the latest builds in this thread.
Dudes not kidding, it is fast, very configurable, and most importantly looks pretty badass. Also comes with quite a few presets. Nice work man
This wallpaper kicks so much ass its insane! My favorite wallpaper. Other than the sperm one. XD
Absolutely sweet. Awesome work!
Awesome wallpaper. My screen transitions seem a lot smoother now with this running.
This wallpaper is simply ingenious! No other wallpaper has that much options. And the best thing: favorite settings can be saved!
This is great. It looks fabulous and the saving of effects is a great option to have. Good job man!
Downloaded
Installed
Played with settings
Saved a few
Set as wallpaper
LOVE IT!
Awesome job on this one!
I installed it, but it's really hard to see unless you have your screen brightness jacked up, which means it's going to kill your battery even more. Don't think I'll use it day to day.
Great job on it though.
this is finest live wallpaper i have used! YOU ARE THE MAN!
It just keeps FCing for me. I really wanted to try this too...

love the wallpaper, but it really makes the n1's color banding issue jump out at you...
Well Done
Great work man , This is one of the best.
Thanks for all the feedback, it's much appreciated
I just posted a new version (0.9.0) to my website that allows for a much wider selection of colors.

It took this long before someone put out an honest 'first impression'
Personally, the live wallpaper has great potential - but it also is a battery hog. While most wallpapers eat about 2% of power this once takes at least 3%.
nice one !bravo

[Live Wallpaper] [Theme] Galaxy S Blue Sea - White mod (Now with apk!)

This is my first post here, so hopefully I'm doing it right
I've been playing around with the Blue Sea live wallpaper from the Samsung Galaxy S that persiansown released... turns out it's extremely easy to modify as all of the textures are accessible png's and a significant amount of it's code is human readable script. I haven't looked at the other ones yet, but I imagine they're the same. Anyway...
www dot youtube dot com/watch?v=Aq-ojq8tt5U
Sadly can't post links/images yet, maybe someone else can clean up this post! Thanks to both persiansown for the original release and djmcnz for the non-rooted version which is easier to mess with. Especially since I really have no idea what I'm doing. Hopefully I can try releasing this in a day or two when I have more time to clean it up...
EDIT: Okay, I added an apk. This is based on the non-rooted version, so it should install on anything. It will probably overwrite the original non-rooted version and I have no idea what will happen if it's installed next to the rooted versions!
link to the white mod
Linkage please
Look really good better than blue.....
would make a good app if it were like nexusmod allowing us to customize.
could you make a dark version? i like darker themed wallpapers and they save battery
Feature request: When tapping the bubbles, they color is not static, randomly chooses one of the google colors.
No real changes, but test apk added. It should work. Maybe.
would it replace the original one!?
Currently, yes, but I'd prefer if it didn't. I'm still trying to figure everything out!

great job, really =D can you modify the Ocean Waves too? i really don't like the background, it should be nicer with white sands or something similar to a caribbean beach =)
Is there a way to keep the standard and modded version together?
i tried screwing around with the ocean waves lwp by replacing the background(seafirebg_512x512) with a transparent one..
to give a clear water rippling effect...
but all i get is black screen with a white rippling effect to the top left corner :/
any pointers or someone wanna take a shot at it??
This thing is crazy recourse intensive. Is the original as heavy on the cpu and battery?
BTW, this is beautiful, I would use it more if it didn't kill my performance.
Unfortunately yeah, as I understand it the Galaxy S has a better GPU then the N1 which is why their LWP's are so intensive. All I did was swap in some different sprite images.
I don't use it that much either on my phone anymore, I need the battery life

[APP] Ghost in the Shell Laughing Man Live Wallpaper

Original credit for the base animation goes to Sushiman0001. Thanks to Andrew101 for the Live Wallpaper Creator tool used to make this. My first attempt at a live wallpaper, so I tried to optimize for size, quality, and smoothness of playback.
Resolution set for Droid2 on "Large" and 20 FPS.
*note* I was too lazy to fix the naming on this, so it will show up in Apps/Wallpaper selection as "GITS"
Preview in attached jpg.
I don't think this got the credit it deserved...but THANKS!!!!!!! This is amazing work and I really like the creative thought that went into this.
Doesn't work on my Motorola Defy...sadly not even the preview.
doesn't work either on Nexus S...too bad
Doesn't work on the fascinate either.
works fine on DINC
skyraider 3.5
works on captivate and i love it! Thanks
Darn... I was gonna do this and you beat me to it Well done!
Thanks!! App is great. I set it to Big and 60FPS and although I probably won't be keeping it (because I like my static wallpaper), I still think it's fun!
Unfortunately does not work, Galaxy S.

Bugger, I was really excited when I saw this thread!
Perfect on Desire HD. Many thanks!
Does not work for Galaxy S2
Doesnt work on DInc running Uber Kingdom 3.0
It installed fine but when I went to set it the preview doesnt come up and when I hit apply it just went back to my original one. Love the idea though.
Works perfect on the Echo.
Dang was hoping this would work for me, thanks for sharing.
Sent from my Android HD2 using XDA Premium App
There should really be an updated version of this amazing wallpaper, 1080p and other sizes, both black and white background versions.
And why not, also bootanimation?

[SOLVED: 12 SEPTEMBER 2011] /[Q] Incredible S / This Wallpaper !!?

I'd love to have the wallpaper, on the pic attached. on my Desire S.
I have searched the whole web and even here on xda for the same or even something similar, but no go.
This wallpaper is maybe an Incredible S special, I dunno.
I'd really appreciate if someone points me to where to find this ....
Edit:
Now here it is !!!
Thank you xxmorph3u5xx for pointing the source image
You rock
seems like the weather live wallpaper in a rainy day.
at least when rained the other day my DS looked like tht
ok..so i actually believe that this looks rather similar to the last of the preinstalled htc wallpapers - the blurry bubbly stuff .
so what i did: photoshopped the original pic a bit, a little desaturation, a little colorise, a little motion blur.. hope it's what u were looking for.
cheers!
p.s.: if u want any other modification to the pic just ask, happy to help
Made this one from an existing wallpaper. Dialed back the saturation and blurred it. Looks quite nice on my phone!

Really awesome

My First Boot Animation. "Fire on Fire"

I worked on this for hours. I got all the png pics right, used a gif of some flames, added the Kindle Fire boot logo, along with the "part0 and desc.txt" files. Created bootanimation.zip but no matter what I did it wouldnt show up on boot. So I was browsing around for a solution and found this tool. Worked great. I then tweaked and tweaked the size and timing trying to get it to look the best without a lot of hiccups. It does have a few delays right at the beginning but I got it the best I could. I think it came out pretty good considering Ive never created anything for android before. Im pretty much a follow tutorial only guy. But I got in the mood tonight to try to create and contribute. So anyway feel free to check it out.

Just make a copy of your original bootanimation at system/media, rename my Fire on Fire bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip then place it in same folder at system/media, reboot and enjoy (I Hope )
Looks cool, I'll try this out later.
this is really cool and works great with my Kindle Fire
Nice work man!
Created another.
I created another one. This one is called Kindle Fire Rising. Links below.

Same instructions as above for install. Hope you like it.
uhhhh just a thought. Those are really neat, I will be installing one, but you need to change that stock wallpaper to pimp these out properly
Really neat animations though. Get us more
Edit: please don't take that as an insult or me being a butthead. Was just being funny.

No offense taken. Hey call me strange, but I actually like the Fires wallpapers. I love the whole OS and launcher. Ive tried other custom roms like cyanogen, but ended up going back to stock. Just bought a Xoom today for under $300. So Ill most likely be playing around with that. But I havent stopped with the Fire. I had another boot animation all done, but ended up scrapping it. Everything looked great except for the logo. It was blurry. So Ill have to work on that one some more before I post it.
I have to admit, the stock ones have a nice resolution to them. Some are really nice and then the others are just meh. I do hope you keep at it. Those are neat. I want one of a dragon coming out and setting the word "Kindle" on fire. That would win me in a second
