REPOST:
Monday 17-May-2011 8:03 AM Free on day one via Amazon Appstore deal
Two bits of good news for Android phone owners today. First up, PopCap will finally release its iPhone super hit (and all-round excellent game) Plants Vs. Zombies on Android devices this month.
And secondly, it'll be completely FREE on its day of release. Not bad, eh? Here's the snag - that day is yet to be set, so you'll have to keep a close eye out so as not to miss it later this month.
Plants Vs. Zombies will be joined by another PopCap puzzler, Chuzzle, also free on its day of release, which will be May 31.
Both will thereafter cost $2.99, and both will be exclusive to Amazon's Appstore for the first two weeks after release.
I found a leaked version of the actual Plants Versus Zombies....it booted, it crashed a bunch, then i got it to start the game and several of the sprites were garbled. I'm hoping they fix this or it was just faulty code because with PVZ on my Gtab I will NEVER leave home without it

did get Chuzzle free on Amazon the other day, doesn't play full screen...
BOOO!!!
Just spoke to LG UK and they said this:
As far as we are aware the 2.3 Gingerbread update for the LG Optimus 3D will be available from the 5th December 2011 for open models in the UK.
So thats only for open model, mines from Orange so will be even longer.
Soon they will say that the update is delayed for January and then will be delayed again in January to February and then...
It's always the same story with LG and to be honest I really don't care anymore about the GB update, it's too late.
ICS is around the corner already and I don't see it coming to the O3D.
What happened to it being November?
I like their phones but not the way they give a firm date, finally, then change it. I get my updates about a month after release so at this rate will still have froyo in february.

How can Google do this?
Sent from a better Galaxy designed for humans!
Well as the world is going to end in December anyway, Google officially decided to exclude December to prevent it happening...
Wow, surprised that wasn't caught during testing. Well at least since 4.2 is only on Nexus devices Google will be able to push out an update quickly.

Android 5.0 "Liquorice" this Fall ?
Basically Google is saying Motorola is not up to snuff quite yet, to start producing brand new phones for them, they still have work and development ahead of them, before they are ready. Several months at very earliest. This new rumors / news, pointing towards end of year release time frame.
And this has the tech world buzzing, that "rumor" maybe Android 5.0 is not going to be released this Summer right after Google I/O like rumored. And that this Motorola - X phone, rumored for a June / July release, is now due for a Nov / Dec release, which is the typically Nexus phone time of year.
And that come this Fall, we will see this Motorola Nexus-X phone in Nov/Dec, running Android 5.0 "Liquorice". And what we may get after Google I/O this May, is Android 4.3 "Key Lime Pie" in the Summer ?
Typically Google releases brand new OS numbers in the Fall, with a brand new Nexus phone, and that Summer is just a point release usually, so maybe we are getting 4.3 after Google I/O, and whole new 5.0 this Fall, with the next Nexus ? Because I find it hard to believe that Google will have a new LG Nexus-Five for sale this Summer per some rumors, they have never done that before.
Talks about 5.0 not being ready for Google IO'13 had been around for quite a while, I think there's something to it.
However that begs the question of what they have in store for 5.0, has to be kinda big, and will 4.3 just be a polish?
That wouldn't be very IO worthy...

What google play system update are you on with your Pixel 7 pro.? I'm on July 1st with no updates available
October 5th 2022, though I'm in the beta program.
Prior to being in beta it was July 2022
Came with July, updated today and still on July. Not on the BETA. Saw a few articles on the net, we are not alone. It is broke.
Still on July 1st
