I have installed PSX4Droid 1.7 , 2.0 , and 3.0 (the new free one) ... and none of them will work... When I use 1.7 and 2.0 and try to load Harvest moon they don't do anything, and when I use 3.0 it loads and then crashes and says "PSX 4 driud gas crashed... please click here to help fix the issue"
I have the scph1001.bin for the BIOS but I just dont know whats wrong, I have only tried it with Harvest Moon which is a eboot (eboot.pbp and keys.bin files) I have not tried any other games as I am in the process of putting them on the tablet now.
Has anyone had these issues or is it specific to this game?
I could never get it to work. I use fpse instead which works great.
I just tried Crash Bandicoot and it is also not working
What version of FPSE are you using? I am trying with FPSE , and when I load the keys.bin file it just says "FPSE has exited, try using bios, press menu, system, load bios file, save and retry"
But I have loaded the bios file ... ?
Can't remember although I've had no problems with several versions. Make sure after you load a BIOS you save that as your default configuration in the system menu. Turn off HLE in the system menu too. Also fpse cannot run eboot files. All of my ROMs are either bin or cdi and they work fine.
Thanks, Does anyone else have any tips??
I'm currently copying over FF7 (actual ROM, not eBOOT) to see if that will work...

One more thing. The G-Tablet's multi-touch can be a little finicky when touching two points on the same plane (same position in respect to the y-axis) so I highly suggest setting the d-pad to the middle left of the screen and keeping the other buttons on the bottom right of the screen.

Hey guys,
I'm having an issue with ScummVM and was hoping somebody around here is having the same issue.
The application loads and runs fine (I have the latest version - 0.13.1 ... Windows CE ARM package).
The issue is that none of the games that I have loaded onto my SD card appear in the games list when I browse for them.
I installed Scumm to my main memory and have the game files loaded onto the microSD card.
The interesting thing is that I installed Scumm on my computer and can load and play the game files just fine, however the mobile version doesn't seem to like it very much.
Has anybody else had this issue with the Fuze?
I've been able to play the monkey island series with only minor probs.
I found that i could not open games unless i was using the correct scummvm.exe. Once i unzipped the scummvm download i had a scummvm1 and scummvm2 app.
For example monkey island will not show in the games list unless i use scummvm1.
wow, i could have sworn that i ran scummvm1
thanks!
ok, interesting issue now
i ran and played monkeyisland1 a few times with scummvm1....and now every time i attempt to run scummvm my screen goes black and it crashes
*edit*
on further investigation it seems that changing the graphics mode is the issue
it runs fine directly after i change it, but when i attempt to re-run scummvm later on it will crash on startup (unless if gfx_mode is default)
any thoughts?
I cant seem to get this thing to work. I run WM 6.1 on an HTC Mogul. I have scph1001.bin in the bios folder and the program loads like it should and I can select options, config the contols and memory cards and such. I have Final Fantasy 7 discs 1, 2, and 3 as .bin with a .cue and the program recognizes them when I go to load and iso but when I select disc 1 the on screen controller comes up but the game doesnt load. I even let it sit there for a minute and FpseCE just closes. what am I doing wrong? Those same files work just fine on my Desktop PC using ePSXe emulator. please help!
emulators are rarely 100% compatible with all games if I were you I would check out their website for compatible games list or maybe in their forum
ok... so it actually worked... once. I was checking to make sure the bios was loaded and for some reason when I chose the bios it took me back to the main menu unlike everytime before and since it just shuts the program off. the one time it actually stayed on after choosing the bios is the one time I got FF7 to play and it played wonderfully. anyone know whats going on with it now?
Hi all !!
As you can see from the topic a wonderfull psone emulator is avaible for windows mobile, I haven't tested it yet because I haven't had much time but I have headr that it works great with our 1 ghz processor ! so let's try it out !
here the link : http://www.fpsece.net/
tested out this little beauty and works great!
I get a steady 60 fps in all games and has run everything i have threw at it!
all we need now is accelerometer support : /
also i cant get the hardware buttons working properly when i assign them a function : (
Yes i can confirm it s working great on s200,fullspeed or even a little better then on psx,and full audio in almost every game. The only problem is that you have to use a ps3 controller because of the resistive touchscreen that let you press only one button at time.I use zeemote controller with the gamepro driver to play but it s not a good controller,i think with dual shock 3 it s like to have a psx
work perfectly even with the accelerometre (for this you have to use the donate version of fpsece and have the HD2 sensor dll installed). The only game that i encounter problemes is with valkyrie profil. The Best playstation emulator on mobile (much better than the one on iphone or android).

Can you pls explain how you configured the gsensor?
I'm using the FpseCE-Supporter-Version, Arto's Sense 3.6-ROM with included HD2-Sensor-DLLs. Other accelerometer-games like HTC-Teeter are working fine, but with FpseCE I didn´t manage to get the gsensor working...
Would be very great if you could help! thx

first of all there's many video that you can see for enabled the gsensor on fpsece (here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOcvM8bHiZM). You also need a cab, that i found with the ocam rom's (thanks to him) witch is in russian, for calibrate your g sensor. Put your S200 flat on table, enable z_checkgsensor, and you have to tape on the grey box where you can see a 0. then it's done go too fpsece and enjoy. (Tomb raider or soul reaver with the g sensor is very funny, new game play i like it).
The cab is in attachment .
Hey salemxp,
big thanks for your help. I installed "Alternative SensorSDK by Amper.cab" and now gsensor works fine. Much more fun now to play ps-games
could you please posta little guide on make fpsece work on neotouch ? I did try one time but with no result....also I have some old original ps1 games but I don't remember how to get the image on the pc...
to get the iso's you can download some freeware called 'iso recorder' all instructions on how to use this should be on their website, or you can download them from http://romhustler.net/roms/psx and to the best of my knowledge because it is such an old system it is not illegal to download most games (any still copyrighted are not available on the site) : )
I'm trying to configure fpsece by now....how I have to set this : ArmCoreV5= ???
For everyone having problems running this emulator donload this package i ve made ,from megaupload, containing the emulator, the manual the bios folder with every bios for psx and fpse.ini preconfigured to load 7502 bios file.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5R8Y4SE5
instructions:
1 run anf install fpsece cab on your device
2 copy bios folder in the fpsece installation directory overwriting the one inside
3 copy the fpse.ini file in the fpsece installation directory overwriting the one inside
4 now you have only to ad your rom you can download the ones you own from internet,it s faster then make an iso.You can get many other helps reading instruction in the rar package
Fpsece is not mine (is made by a genius),and i think the bios files are legal since psx is abandonware,i only edited fpse.ini.My intention is only to make the installation process easy,so if someone doesn t like i post those files let me know
Yesterday i learned i can use even shooting games...Point blank series is awesome payed with resistive touchscreen of s200(better then on capacitive hd2,because resistive it s more precise). It s simply the best game i ve tried in a phone
Thank Axel85. I packed everything in one cab file. Just install it - no need to overwrite anything.
brainmaster you re the best... thank you.I download it even for me
gonna try it
Brain master, have u got it in .apk format for my x10?
Check it out

Wonderful!
Add a list of games that you would recommend downloading!
Thanks
Awesome!
Looks like it could use a small frame rate increase, but its still awesome.
Is there an option to hide the on screen controls for people that want to use a mini bluetooth keyboard or something like that?

Agree, looks a little jerky. Maybe newer versions will be optimized to run better on Galaxy S hardware.
I have a feeling its using CPU and very little GFX card. Maybe with the next version we will get some GFX support. I have not tried but I heard you can hide the controls and use a Wii mote with it.

wont be compatible on the Galaxy S phones because the developer said that it currently does not work with BT 3.0 devices

How did you get it to work? I have the .bin and .cue file in a folder but I just get a blank screen. I tried renaming to .img but no luck.
FF Tactics works just fine. It's the only other game I have to test.
I've tried a ton of games, that are eboot files and they all work fine. most of them have no lag, and if they do its minor. but some games like resident evil have a lack of controls due to no r2 and l2 buttons.

where is the bios then? I downloaded it from megaupload to the internal SD so it was in /sdcard/downloads but if you transferred over wire it would be wherever you put it.
Once on disc just click the bios button in the app and nav to it. When I went back into the emulator it asked for rom location and it started playing FF VII.
when i play FF7 my audio lags quite a bit. i cant seem to get it as smooth as all the videos i see on youtube of people playing on their galaxy s phones. i always make sure i kill all the programs running in the background before i play a game too.
What BIOs are you using and Livebackground maybe? I use 1001

im using 1001 and i dont have a live background. i also make sure that my cpu is clocked at 1 ghz through setcpu. ill see if converting the ROM to a pbp file makes any difference.

well thats because the usb was attached, pull down the notification panel and unmount it so you can see the internal SD card on your phone.
Hello so I just updated to the new fpse 0.11.18. I am using a galaxy s2 on 4.0.3 stock. When I try load a save through save states the program just crashs. Also I tried using the memory card load feature but it doesnt show any saves.
The ISO loads up fine and I can view and select my old save but when I load it after 5 seconds it just closes the app and goes to the homescreen
Any ideas why?
are you using the proper bios file?
I'm using SCPH1001
Here are some threads that talk more about FPSe

Yes I am using the SCPH1001.BIN. I said the game doesn't load my savestates from the older fpse version don't see how the bios has anything to do with this the game wouldn't load the iso properly without it anyway. I don't think you even read my posts other than the title
