CDMA Parts interchangeable? - Touch Pro2 CDMA

My touch screen has been heavily scratched (aesthetic only, still works good) on my Telus Branded TP2. Upon looking on ebay for LCD+Digitizer combos the only cdma version I was able to find was Verison.
Are there any differences & would it be possible as a replacement for a Telus branded tp2?
o

any of the lcd/digitizers will work fine, i have an AT&T lcd/digitizer on my sprint touch pro 2 as of 2 months ago, i cracked my lcd and the cdma lcd/digitizers on ebay were like $60 and the GSM ones were, well i paid $22 shipped
works just fine bro!
cheers,
disco

your welcome

The only ones that are different are the RHOD100 and RHOD210 models. The RHOD100 (European model) has a glass hole for a front-facing camera to the left of the speaker grill. The RHOD210 (T-Mobile US model) has a different placement of the bottom hard buttons. The other versions have the buttons flush against the bottom of the device. The RHOD210 has its buttons about a quarter of an inch above the bottom of the device.
The RHOD300 (AT&T), RHOD400 (Sprint), and RHOD500 (Verizon) are all the same as far as the front display goes. The only difference is the carrier branding under the speaker grill. I have never seen a RHOD110 (Telus) model, so I'm not certain of the differences it has. I think it is the same as the European model (RHOD100), though, if it has a front camera.

Different Diamonds, Assessories

So there are 2 versions of the Touch Diamond as for as I know.
The original GSM phone, and the smaller rounder CDMA version.
I want to buy this cradle for the phone,
http://www.smartphonecentral.ca/htc-touch-diamond-desktop-charging-cradle-cr-g300.html
But not sure if it will fit with my CDMA version phone?
Anyone know?
the cdma touch diamond that sprint/telus/alltell has actually has an extended 1350mah battery and battery cover that is about 3-4 mm wider than the standard gsm touch diamond (900 mah) so tread carefully. You may want to look at expansys canada i found this:
http://www.expansys.ca/p.aspx?i=169488
http://www.expansys.ca/s.aspx?update=true&sid=18903305
the charger their is designed for the touch pro so it should fit your cdma touch diamond with room to spare. im actually going thru similar crap, i have a tmobile mda compact IV which is their version of the touch diamond with the slimmer 900mah battery but the look of the curvy rounded cdma TD. i wish htc had just made the curvy cdma touch diamond and square gsm touch diamond with same battery and same back its a pain looking for accessories for the diffrent phones because the back of this one is thicker and the back of that one is slim but faceted, ARRRRGGGGGHHHH. Anyways good luck hope that helped

Sprint (USA) vs T-Mobile (UK) Touch Diamond

Hi,
Does anyone know if the main-body structure of the touch diamond from Sprint and T-Mobile are the same?
They look the same, but the reason I am asking is that the back casing of the Spring is deeper with bigger battery and it would be nice to get one for my UK version which has the puny battery!
Thank you.
I myself tried that already. Im on tmobile USA and bought the mda compact 4 from tmobile uk. The sprint touch diamond has a different back altogether to the mda 4. The bottom part on the mda 4 cuts off where the sprint one extends further. I hope that makes sense just check out the pics.
Thanks. Pictures were very helpful
no problem

FUZE and CDMA Touch Pro parts interchange

Since I declined HTCs absurd $210 LCD and refurbishment repair quote I've decided to do the repairs myself. The main issue is fixing the sticky volume button.. makes the phone unusable ATM. My question has anyone looked into what parts will interchange between the CDMA Touch Pro's and the GSM FUZE model? Seems there are quite a few more of the Sprint models out there and maybe a good source for parts. Thanks

replacing cracked screen

hello,
i have here a lumia 1020 froom at&t. it has a cracked screen.
i wanted to ask, if i can just buy an digitizer screen from ebay and replace it, because i know there are some differences between the us at&t model and the international one (as i know its only about the frequencies gsm, lte etc). should there be a problem with a possible other pin assignment for the display connectors ?
second i wanted to ask if i can flash an international debranded windows phone version over the at&t firmware (after the phone has been sim unlocked)
I cracked the screen of my 1020 twice, both times I bought a screen at amazon, different sellers. The first time the screen was perfect 100%, the second time the screen that I received was a bit faulty, I had a gab between the body of the phone and the screen and you could see light coming out from the side of the phone, annoying. eventually the corner of the screen broke again, I 'm not changing it again, the screen for this phone is too expensive and already bought two, my next screen will come with the phone that replaces 1020. maybe 1030 or whatever it is. Just try to get it from a good seller that could relace if it comes faulty.
the same problem. trying to deattach the glass and keep digitizer. if will be successful will publish the guide.
Just buy display assembly from good seller. The rest is simple.
I tried to separate the glass from digitizer and broke the LCD in the process. Later had to buy the whole display assembly.
Only concern was, you get glass for less than a dollar, but display assembly costs 100+ dollars.

Hello todarkness, if you buy a screen without frame, both at&t and international models are interchangeable, otherwise, you'll have to buy the at&t version if you need the frame as well.

Thick lines across my screen when changing brightness

Hello, I have the 935F from the UK, I am currently in China for a few months. When changing the brightness up and down, four lines/bars appear on my screen which then grow larger or smaller based on my brightness setting. A handful of others have experienced the same problem too with the S7 Edge (not the standard).
Samsung said I can take it to a service center or send it to them in the UK and they will repair/replace the screen free of charge, but as I'm currently in China, I don't want to be without a phone for a few weeks. I asked the Samsung service center here and they said the screen is different, please can anyone confirm this is the case? I thought the screen was the same, but the internal radio components (frequencies used) differed slightly? I am happy to pay Samsung China the repair cost as it will be considerably easier than sending it back to the UK etc, but can anyone confirm the edge screen is identical?

It's not just the internal radios: the Chinese version is the only other version of the S7 Edge that uses a Snapdragon 820 other than the US variants. And there are more differences between the SM-G9350/U/A/P/T/V/... (SD) and SM-G935F (Exynos) than we might know, and Samsung certainly understands quite a lot about their own product, so I'd advise you listen. (for example of small differences between the two that impacts other parts of the phone) the SD820 variant lacks a separate DAC and utilizes the 820's internal DAC, while the E8890 version has a Wolfson DAC.
Likely the difference is going to be the chipset (Snapdragon Vs Qualcom) however I cant say for sure if the internals are all in the same places for the S7 Edge Global Varients.
Might be worth posting in the S7 Edge forum to see if they are aware of anything?
Sorry I didn't realize there was an S7 Edge forum, could a moderator move this thread to there?
Good point, there are quite a lot of differences it seems.
Do you know if I bought a phone like the S7 Edge from Hong Kong, is it fully compatible in the UK? Would it be the 935F variant? I can't seem to find what variants are sold around the world and I know like America and China uses different frequencies for LTE, but saying that, I have the 935F and I'm picking up LTE fine in China.
