I already finished my run through the neighborhood.
Getting closer to ICS build roms!! Can't wait! I've been holding off until ICS came out because I didn't want to have to do 2 wipes.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that referring to Europe? Obviously we'll start getting leaks of that soon after, but it won't officially show up here in the US on AT&T for a long time to come...
(and I will admit that ICS is showing up in my subconscious because I dreamt that I was downloading it recently...)

That could be right seeing as how this wasnt posted in the US facebook page...
who knows. We may even have a working rom before we get an official update
if it comes to the international gs2 LTE then we can probably port some stuff over and have more kernal source since it is similar to the skyrocket, at least more similar than the normal gs2 cuz it has a qualcomm s3 processor. it will definately help the ics roms i think
How much different are we from the international version? Same hardware minus the radio? Or are we running different processors entirely?

I meant the skyrocket international version, or galaxy s2 LTE they call it. I didn't mean the i9100.

Just like how Skyrocket mentions 3g 850/1900/2100 when in reality it can also do 1700 That portion of the specs is controlled by software, not hardware.

Aren't they both considered Snapdragon S3 processors? Would that be close enough? Or am I talkin' out of my @$$?

800 MHz Band on verizon?

Ok so I know verizon uses 800 and 1900MHz bands, as will sprint with LTE. However, Wikipedia says that the 800MHz band is reserved for iDEN devices only so how can verizon be using this as a cellular band?
Verizon uses the 700mhz band to my knowledge. 800mhz is owned by Sprint.

4G on T-MOBILE AND ATT with 6inch AMOLED and LOVE

I need a phone with the following features:
1. 6 inch AMOLED screen
2. dual sim
3. dual core processor
4. To get 4G speeds on TMobile and ATT
This is the 1st and ONLY 6 inch phone that I have found which is listed to work on the following frequencies:
3G HSPA WCDMA (UMTS) 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
Quad-Band (4 Band) GSM GPRS EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
The phone model is: "EZIO N97" and it is selling on ebay for $271.
Can you please look at the specs and tell me if this phone will satisfy my needs.
The forum software will not let me post a link. But you can find it on ebay. It is being sold by the ebay user "tec-plus"
The title of the ebay listing is "*NEW* EZIO N97 6.0-inch ANDROID 4.0 3G GPS 8.0MP 2-SIM HD TABLET & SMARTPHONE"
If it does I will be sleeping with this phone everyday
Tx,
nope, missing 1700MHz for WCDMA, so unless you are in a refarmed area it's a no on t-mobile

This phone and most 2013 chinese market mediatek phone won't with USA 3g/4g network. The only Mediatek Quad Cores to with with 1900Mhz reframe TMobile/AT&T is the Blu Life Series Play,One, Pro and the Sony,LG phones with mediatek.

New T-mobile LG Phone

I see Tmobile is soon going to get a new LG phone. the LG Optimus L90.
Specs: 1.2 ghz quad core, 1GB Ram, 8GB Storage, Android 4.4 kitkat, 4.7" qhd Display, 5 megapixle camera, and Radio bands: UMTS: Band V (850);UMTS/HSPA+: AWS Band IV / 2100 / 1900 / 850;Band II (1900);Quad Band GSM.
This phone looks to me like a LG Optimus G Pro for AT&T since it has somewhat of the same look but lowered specs.
So far it just says coming soon and the phone if you want to check it out is at the bottom of the "see all phones list" of T-Mobile.com

Does this phone indeed supports UMTS Band 1 ( 2100 ) ? I intend to buy this phone and use it in Europe.
LG site says it supports only Bands 2,4 and 5, while T-mobile site says it supports Bands 1,2,4 and 5. Whom to believe ?

I found this thread wondering the exact same thing. Anyone gotten an answer as to whether this phone supports Band 1 (2100) for use in Europe and elsewhere abroad?
