Getting closer to ICS build roms!! Can't wait! I've been holding off until ICS came out because I didn't want to have to do 2 wipes.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that referring to Europe? Obviously we'll start getting leaks of that soon after, but it won't officially show up here in the US on AT&T for a long time to come...
(and I will admit that ICS is showing up in my subconscious because I dreamt that I was downloading it recently...)

That could be right seeing as how this wasnt posted in the US facebook page...
who knows. We may even have a working rom before we get an official update
if it comes to the international gs2 LTE then we can probably port some stuff over and have more kernal source since it is similar to the skyrocket, at least more similar than the normal gs2 cuz it has a qualcomm s3 processor. it will definately help the ics roms i think
How much different are we from the international version? Same hardware minus the radio? Or are we running different processors entirely?

Different processor and screen... and i9100 doesn't have LTE if I remember correctly
And they come in 16 or 32gb

the galaxy s ii lte is EXACTLY the same as the skyrocket. Just unbranded. Can't wait!

I meant the skyrocket international version, or galaxy s2 LTE they call it. I didn't mean the i9100.

Just like how Skyrocket mentions 3g 850/1900/2100 when in reality it can also do 1700 That portion of the specs is controlled by software, not hardware.

Hello guys!
I just brought my Galaxy s2 hd lte which is known as SHV-E120s similar to att galxy s2 skyrocket in ATT.
It is unlock .
when i put my simcard, i always get G which is GPRS. This is so slow and it makes me crazy.
Thus, i look over google and find what my support 3g band which was.
2G Network: GSM 850/ 900 /1800/ 1900
3G Network: HSDPA 850/ 900/ 1900 /2100
HSDPA 900/ 2100
4G Network: LTE 800/ 1800 /2600
Also I look over T-mobile 3G frequency over google and found that
850MHz: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA : 2G/3G
1900 MHz: GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 2G
1700/2100 MHz: UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+: 3G/4G
1900 MHz: UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+: 3g/4G
1700 / 2100 Mhz: LTE
Acoording to this chart. i know that i cannot use LTE.
However, i believe, it will support 3G which i have HSDPA 1900 and 2100 Mhz.
Based on m assumption, because of t mobile use weird signal AWS? thats why my phone does not work 3g?
i really want to solution for it. THE GSRM IS SO SLOW THAT I CANNOT EVEN POSE THINGS ON MY FACEBOOK.....
thank you.

Have exactly the same problem .... any solution to this ????
No it is not similar you're in the wrong subsection. Rocket HD is different. Also make sure your phone is unlocked and u need a different radio compatible with the T-Mobile frequencies
Hello All! first of all its extremely basic question.
I have UK version of HTC One S S4, but i live in Indiana, US. I use Tmobile but dont get 4G or 3G..just Edge!
so i was wondering if i flashed tmobile radio or tmobile-RUU will I start getting a better connection or also maybe 3G..?
OK sorry but my Phone is not UK..it is HTC Europe version.

Your in a bit of a bind then since you have the international version! Your phone might not have the right frequency support to get T-mobile 3g/4g until they complete their move of 3g to the 1900 band.
This is an excerpt from Anandtech Review
The International and T-Mobile One S differ in what UMTS bands are supported, as the International One S targets both Asia and Europe, while the T-Mobile version goes for the Americas. I’ve made a table with the pertinent information.
HTC One S - Network Support
GSM/EDGE Support 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
WCDMA Support
One S - International 850 / 900 / 2100 MHz
WCDMA Support
One S - T-Mobile 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 MHz

You really need that 1700/1900 band for AWS 3g. However, t-mobile is currently moving 3g to the 1900 spectrum which should enable you to get 3g when it's done in your area.
Here is a map of current reported 1900 3g coverage. http://www.airportal.de/
Sorry to give you the bad news.
Does the relay 4G use the 900 and the 2100 mhz bands ?
Some sites day it does, other say it doesn't.

if you're asking if it works for hspa outside of US yes, it does. apparently wcdma is 2100mhz everywhere but in the US
I'm just wondering if 900 Mhz does also work (the phone has it?)
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 601e and 601s? The web is full of conflicting info on this and I can't find an official white paper from HTC. I need to pick up the model that supports HSPA for ATT so I need both 850 and 1900mhz for 3g. Some sites say both models have this, some say only the 601S, some say neither has it.

HTC 601s has LTE bands 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
HTC 601e has LTE bands 800 / 1800 / 2600
Neither will work on ATT as ATT operates on 700 and 1700 bands ... the ATT version of the phone has LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
I know I'm sh** outta luck when it comes to LTE, that's why I was asking about 3g/HSPA.
HTC did email me an answer though. It appears both devices give me the 3g frequencies i need. HTC's email below:
I understand this can be changing your experience with the device and I will be more than happy to help you with this matter.

Guess I missed that you were looking for 3G ... in that case, I have the 601S, 3G works fine
I own 601n LTE model which also has slightly better cpu cores - Krait 300 instead of Krait 200 in 601e.

Sprint USA uses MHz
800/1900 for 2g
1900 for 3g
2500 for 4g
Infact you will not be able to make calls if your region uses 800MHz for calls.
