I need a phone with the following features:
1. 6 inch AMOLED screen
2. dual sim
3. dual core processor
4. To get 4G speeds on TMobile and ATT
This is the 1st and ONLY 6 inch phone that I have found which is listed to work on the following frequencies:
3G HSPA WCDMA (UMTS) 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
Quad-Band (4 Band) GSM GPRS EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
The phone model is: "EZIO N97" and it is selling on ebay for $271.
Can you please look at the specs and tell me if this phone will satisfy my needs.
The forum software will not let me post a link. But you can find it on ebay. It is being sold by the ebay user "tec-plus"
The title of the ebay listing is "*NEW* EZIO N97 6.0-inch ANDROID 4.0 3G GPS 8.0MP 2-SIM HD TABLET & SMARTPHONE"
If it does I will be sleeping with this phone everyday

This phone and most 2013 chinese market mediatek phone won't with USA 3g/4g network. The only Mediatek Quad Cores to with with 1900Mhz reframe TMobile/AT&T is the Blu Life Series Play,One, Pro and the Sony,LG phones with mediatek.

I have done some searches and have not found a valid answer to this question. Since the HTC Touch Pro (Rafael), HTC has only put only the UMTS 900 & 2100 3G bands on their unlocked phones. Every phone released since then, has not had the UMTS 850 Band used in North America.
One response HTC purportedly gave was that due to the smaller size of the Touch Pro and the inclusion of GPS, there just wasn't room for more bands. I think this argument is pure BS. The Kaiser had three UMTS bands: 850, 1900, and 2100 and GPS. Making it good for The U.S. and Europe. All the new unlocked devices have 900 and 2100 - for Europe and Asia.
HTC's Touch Pro 2 is also following this disturbing trend having only the 900 and 2100 bands. So European businessmen traveling to the U.S. get no 3G reception on their expensive "top of the line" phone. What's HTC going to say now, there's no enough room in that monster the Touch Pro 2?
Along the sames lines, those in North America cannot buy direct an unlocked 3G phone. They will have to buy their phones directly from AT&T or T-Mobile and get locked into a long term contract to get one.
Everyone on this forum should be upset about this. My guess is that HTC is bowing to pressure from carriers to make the phones unusable on other carriers. This lets the carriers stick it to the customer.
Personally, I'd like to see Quad Band 3G in the phones so they can be used almost anywhere like they could with the Edge networks.
I purchased the newly released UMI X2 Android phone. I am unable to use the TMobile 3G network. I am only able to use 2G/EDGE.
Voice and data quality are very bad, almost the phone is unusable. I spoke with T-Mobile and was informed that my modem does not support 1700 MHz and there are effort to re-farm TMobile network to support 3G on 1900Mhz but not set date yet. When I scan for available network I get three networks were available
T-Mobile 2G
AT&T 3G
AT&T 2G
Operating System: Android 4.2.1 OS
Processor: 1.2GHz MTK MT6589 quad-core processor
Connectivity Technology: GSM network & WCDMA - Standard SIM card
Network Band: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz & WCDMA 850/2100MHz
Data Technology: GPRS, EDGE, HSPA
Baseband version
MOlY.WR8.W1248.MD.WG.MP.V2.P1
I would appreciate any help to get my phone to work on 3G.
YAF, don't think it's possible to get UMI X2 to work with T-Mobile. You need UMTS support on AWS band.
Re-farming of network for 1900MHz support will not help you either - MT6589 only supports 850Mhz (AT&T band) and 2100Mhz(Europe).
Thanks CTPAHHIK
Ive been getting really confused. I use straighttalk. So no LTE. That's fine. I'm looking at a phone on ebay. Specs say
2G : GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
3G : HSDPA 1900/2100 MHz
4G LTE : 850/900/1800/2100 MHz
Will 3g work with straighttalk/AT&T/T-mobile sim?
I would buy this if I knew for sure, it's an LG G2 Korean version with micro-sd card slot and removable battery.
I read back and fourth and Iv'e been really confused.
If this doesn't work, I may get the Note 3, though it might be too big I fear.
I see Tmobile is soon going to get a new LG phone. the LG Optimus L90.
Specs: 1.2 ghz quad core, 1GB Ram, 8GB Storage, Android 4.4 kitkat, 4.7" qhd Display, 5 megapixle camera, and Radio bands: UMTS: Band V (850);UMTS/HSPA+: AWS Band IV / 2100 / 1900 / 850;Band II (1900);Quad Band GSM.
This phone looks to me like a LG Optimus G Pro for AT&T since it has somewhat of the same look but lowered specs.
So far it just says coming soon and the phone if you want to check it out is at the bottom of the "see all phones list" of T-Mobile.com

Does this phone indeed supports UMTS Band 1 ( 2100 ) ? I intend to buy this phone and use it in Europe.
LG site says it supports only Bands 2,4 and 5, while T-mobile site says it supports Bands 1,2,4 and 5. Whom to believe ?

I found this thread wondering the exact same thing. Anyone gotten an answer as to whether this phone supports Band 1 (2100) for use in Europe and elsewhere abroad?
hello!
i`m thinking to buy the vibe x3. I am still not sure if it will work 4g on o2 uk? though the phone is 1800mhz capable but not 800mhz.
i found an article saying :
"O2 purchased 800 MHz and is obliged to provide 98% UK population indoor coverage by 2017 (O2 is now refarming spare 1800 Mhz it already owns from 2G to 4G (So the iPhone 5 that didnt used to work, now will when on a 4G 1800 Mhz frequency) London, Slough and other Cities are now using or tunring on 4G 1800 Mhz"
so? will this work on 4g o2?
