Sorry, the transformer. I should have read your post.
I own an Iconia Tab and the mic works fine. Used it for video recording and also to make skype calls.

I found an old skype apk that ahs the advanced settings to enble video calling. It tried to work, made a call but video never initialized, did have call audio though... After that it logs me out. Cant log back in. Wondering if a developer could take a look at it and posibly fix it or everyone.
Heres the apk for everyone

AFAIK it's a driver issue between Skype and Nvidia. It would be good to see a working version.
Latest Skype update just added video calling for our transformers!!!!!!!!!

Agree, tested it and video call works.
My transformer is complete. Skype video calls now works.

+1! Very excited about this feature.. Video quality ain't half bad either!
I have, for some time, regularly watched TV shows during workouts on an iPad using BT headsets to avoid the bouncing cable.
I recently switched to using my TF700 for this but there is a noticeable lag between lip movements and spoken words reaching my ears that is *not* an issue on the iPad.
So is this an Android issue or specific to TF700?
Is there any way to fix it?
This is using Google's Movie Play app with purchased content.

Thanks and since there seems no solution.
I have another 12 days to return the TF700 and that's looking likely.

no this only nvidia chips set i have the samsung galaxy 3 and the tablet 2 android 4.04 no problem running snap dragon and texas chip set no problem i am taking mine back next week
Ok, so I kept reading about this bluetooth lag and how some are saying that it's an Nvidia problem, so I tested with both my TF700 and my Nexus 7 using the same apps (tried both DicePlayer and the Play Movies app) and found that the issue is *not* Nvidia, since there is no bluetooth lag on the Nexus 7, which also uses Tegra 3. I get the lag from both apps going to the same bluetooth device on the TF700, but no lag on the same bluetooth device on my Nexus 7.
So, it obviously a *software* issue that can be resolved (and hopefully will be).

I've noticed this delay while playing shadow gun. I'm going to see if it is evident with other games as well.

Audio delay over Bluetooth is a problem with ICS and below. Jelly bean has fixed this.

Not true...I can confirm that the delay is still present after the JB update.

I too have updated to JB and am experiencing BT audio lag on both a set of stereo speakers and an ear peice on everything except the you tube app. Games, DLNA movies, Netflix and local movies all lag. I was extremely happy with my Infinity until this. Now I just want to send it back to Amazon.
Is there absolutely no fix for this?
Well, I'm glad I didn't wait for the JB update to return mine. Now if only the PadPhone 2 had a keyboard and no BT audio lag!
For now I'm stuck with an iPad 2 for movies. Works well, but zero tinker factor.
SOLUTION for VLC player
SOLUTION. In VLC go to preferences >audio output>audio track native
Completely exit VNC a launch it again.
No lag muhehe...
(this was done on Nexus 7

There are 2 types of wiring for phones/tabs. One has pins 3/4 mic/ground and the other ground/mic. I don't have any with me at the moment but I think SGS and TF300 have different wiring. So get new headphones or a little soldering...

Like Stenc55 said. There are two different types of headset jacks.
Our tf300 does not have the three pin headset Jack. So there is no connection being made with the microphone to the device. It's impossible to add as well.

Might simply be a typo. I looked at the headset Jack and there are only 2 prongs on it. Need a third for microphone support

No, it has 4 pin jack (left/right/grnd/mic). I had plugged my guitar in it and it worked, but I had to cut one of SGS headphones and solder mic (or guitar) input to different wire.
I think TF has wiring like iPhone and Nokia has it like SGS.

So two weeks ago I turn on my TF300T in the morning and saw this 4.2.1 update . Since I was in a hurry to go out, I didn't check if there is any bug. After I saw a post about people having problem with no audio output from HDMI after the update on other site.I decided to try if really there is such problem and guess what, same problem,no audio out for me too.I'm creating this thread so that people with this problem can come together and discuses and see if we can write something to Asus or find a way to solve this problem.
You can see people comments on the comment section on this website and all the bugs they face.

I don't think Asus have release any new update to fix this. Are you rooted? If you are I think the best option is to roll back to the last version. I'm currently on this version.
As I mentioned on another thread, some people (me included) have audio via HDMI only if the tablet volume is raised before connecting the cable. It's not a normal thing to do, but at least it works. Did you try it?
I thought the fix for this was setting media volume to max before plugging in HDMI cable?

Thanks. I plan on getting an HDMI cable but if audio dont work then i aint.
Yesterday i picked up a micro hdmi cable to try video for the first time. I got video but no audio. I am running 4.2.1. I checked this forum only to find these threads. Here is what I found:
No audio on my 26" Sony
Turning the audio up first made no difference
The image goes off screen
When i plugged it into the tv while the tv was set to a different input, audio still played from the TF300T speaker. As soon as i changed the tv input to hdmi, the TF300T audio went silent.
Then I tried it on my old rear projection Sony tv and audio worked.
The TF300T is definitely having trouble on some tv's - newer models???
I guess i'll report it to asus.
Peter
Tried that work around yesterday. It didn't work with my TV. Anyone have any luck with this work around?

I reported the issue to ASUS specifically askIng if there were aware. They answered. Yes it is a problem, yes they are working on it - code fix is coming April/May.

Has anyone used the netflix app with hdmi out? The audio is out of sync with the video for me just enough to be annoying. It doesnt get worse or better and its out of sync as soon as i start a video. Im on cm10.1 right now but tried with carbon as well. Anyone else seen this?

I'm having the same issue right now. Outputting over HDMI to a Samsung TV and the audio is lagging horribly. I'm using an Asus Tf300t running 4.2.1.
Did you ever find a solution?

Nope. I had just moved and my phone was my only source of netflix. Got my ps3 unpacked and started using it.
Try uninstalling the app then install again.
