googled the problems but no luck at all
any body can help me?thx in advance
hi....anybody can help me?
did you remove the partnership in your AS on your device before trying to sync?
Do this:
Start>Settings>Connections>USB to PC> Then uncheck the option "Enable advanced network functionality"
If it still cant....
The driver installation may not have completed successfully. If you think this may be the case, follow these steps:
1. Keep your device connected
2. From the desktop, go to Start > Start Search
3. Enter "Device Manager" or "devmgmt.msc" to launch the Device Manager window
4. Look under the "Network adapters" node for "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter". If this is not present, skip to step 5. Otherwise, right-click "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" and choose to "Uninstall"
5. Look under the "Mobile Devices" node for "Microsoft USB Sync". If this is not present, skip to step 6. Otherwise, right-click "Microsoft USB Sync" and choose to "Uninstall"
6. Disconnect and reconnect your device. Your device driver will re-install and Windows Mobile Device Center will launch
Hope this HELP,.
thx for the response -G-, have tried it and no luck at all...wonder what happens with 64bit users. are you all getting the same problem?
windows vista doesnt use antsync it uses windows mobile device to sync to the phone. Try that one
Hello,
After I created a new install of Windows 7, I'm not able to sync my Touch Pro.
If I boot on my previous Windows 7 installation (I kept it on the same computer), sync is OK.
I uninstalled (and reinstalled) many times WMDC, "PocketPC USB sync" and "Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" drivers.
There is some trouble : obviously WMDC doesn't recognize my device.
Both "USB to PC" modes are not able to start WMDC.
Any help?
If you have the Pro version, you should be able to run a virtualized instance of XP, and therefore set it up under as ActiveSync in XP. That is with the official release from what we trained on, 22nd is that date... This allows ANY program to run that was supported by XP 100%
I'm using Windows 7 on my laptop and PC, sync with TP no problem at all. I've done installation on few computers too and they are all good. Things that you might check:
- Check your USB Sync cables and/or your USB port, just to make sure
- Open Windows Mobile Device Center and delete all partnership, then reconnect back
- If possible, try to change your TP ID, so that Windows recognize different device.
Hope it helps.
To supratt93 :
Good idea I'm going to try this
To u2pop :
- I've 2 Win7 installed with a boot selector. Sync works with the forst one and not with the other one, so the cables and USB ports are OK.
- I have never been able to create a partnership. Win7 installed the drivers and WMDC never started. Something goes wrong with the installation of the drivers
- Sometimes I receive a message telling me about a problem with installed drivers (nothing about which device is concerned)
I solved my problem today:
After a reinstallation of the last chipset drivers of my Asus P5k motherboard and a reboot, WMDC started and allowed me to sync my Touch Pro.
I hope that will help someone!
I know that this is solved, however I had the same problem.
I reinstalled WMDC, etc.
In the end a simple swap of the usb port that the USB cable was plugged into and it solved the problem.

Windows 8 is not the problem, what you need are Asus drivers.......
Is there anybody who have the drivers?

Install Asus Sync on your PC, download the drivers and place in program files. You may have to manually install the drivers once the Asus is connected.

It took several goes for me to get the drivers installed.
I don't know if you need to start sync too - if so, do so from the tablet's settings first.
You might also need to experiment with the storage settings and remove an SD card if you have it mounted
Google for Connect Asus to PC and similar terms.
It does work, I promise.
PS
Try Airdroid app if you want to connect wirelessly and not via USB cable

Are the drivers actually installed? You need to select the tablet when connected to the PC and make sure that the drivers are installed. Under Device Manager, under portable devices (while Transformer is plugged in), you will see Transformer. Right click it and choose to update driver manually. Choose the location where you unzipped MTP folder of the download. This should update the windows driver then.

FOR EVERYBODY OVERLY [SOMETIMES SICKENINGLY] FAMILIAR WITH WINDOWS MANUAL DRIVER INSTALLS, HERE'S WHERE THOSE MTD DRIVERS ARE PUT BY THE ASUS SYNC FOR WINDOWS XP DOWNLOAD:
C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Android USB Drivers\MTP
FOR EVERYBODY ELSE, READ ON:
Hey, had the same issue here, thinking it was the fact that ASUS is showing nothing past XP under their Windows downloads, so maybe a compatibility issue with their Sync setup (primarily, not copying the MTD drivers to the correct place during setup).
Having had MUCH WORSE issues with my fave little ol' Sansa Express MP3 player years ago when its battery died completely, I cracked my knuckles, sighed, and dug in for a long haul.
Luckily, I tried this first, since dealing with Windows version compatibility is much more common, so more familiar/easier.
(Of course, I was doing something different, but I'll be doing what you're doing, soon enough).
Download ASUS sync for your tabbie here:
https://www.asus.com/Tablets_Mobile/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/#support_Download_17
Of course, it puts everything where it should, except the very important MTD files--but obviously ASUS included them--for me (32-bit Win7), they were HERE:
C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Android USB Drivers\MTP
Plug your tablet to your PC via it's USB cable, wait for the Windows driver search to appear, then tell Windows to 'skip obtaining driver software from windows update'. Let it fail (that's where some of the best stuff begins!)
Go to Control Panel, Device Manager...open it.
As with some of the worst driver issues I've seen, I didn't see anything other than a single driver there--'ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T'' (see pic)--so I clicked 'Action' up top, then 'Add Legacy Hardware' (single-click something in the lower driver listings to enable this option), then 'Next', then 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list', then 'Show All Devices'.
You don't have to wait for this list to populate--just click 'Have Disk', then 'Browse', then find the proper ASUS MTD driver at the location I described in this line above-->>>C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Android USB Drivers\MTP
These will be annoying click-out submenus, but be patient--you're almost done.
Click through the rest, and you're done...NEARLY.
As is typical with this manual driver stuff (esp. storage drivers like this), I had to restart my PC to finish this driver install (and 'yes', I really did try and cheat Windows out of another 10 minutes of MY LIFE by running the ASUS Sync program on my PC, but it didn't work until rebooting).
Spoiler alert! (Upon reboot, it worked)
[ahem]
Upon reboot, it worked. I ran ASUS Sync, and [finally!!!] am seeing it recognized my tablet as what it is, and life began again after my millionth+6 Windows driver issue. (PLEASE remind me to personally 'thank' Bill G. wherever I see him after death).
EPILOGUE:
Why ASUS failed to update its driver update page after Windows XP, I'll never know, this being a little harder than the ole 'Compatibility Mode' install route...but this worked for me, and despite this little stutter-step, I'll be reaping whatever benefits ASUS sync gives me, but honestly, it wasn't even what I needed to back up my Home Page settings on my TF300T in order to factory reset the thing, because, like some here, mine is performing MUCH slower than it should, even in Performance Mode (but, hey, I got mine from a local pawn shop, so--that's expected, y'know).
ENJOY! Hope this helps, most of the time I feel I've nothing to contribute here...XDA is WAY over my wittle head!
What's really odd is that, even after doing all this, my Device Manager driver listing for the tablet still looks like the attachment I posted here, yet the thing appears to be working fine. Double-clicking on the 'kicked-out' drivers shows 'Device Failed to Start'...this is probably because Windows isn't actually using the ADB and MTD drivers until immediately upon running the ASUS Sync application, though.

I've tried all of this. But still I cannot get Sync to work. In my 64-bit Windows 7 device manager I have it listed as portable device.
I can copy files to and from it in my Explorer. I have no devices that have not been properly installed anywhere in my list. So what to do now?

Have you tried going into your Windows 'Device Manager' and deleting ALL your old occurances of EVERY Android device there (making sure to check 'uninstall drivers' as well during this process)...then starting with that last link I sent cha, again (the universal ADB link)?
Try this--at some point, I was also forced to do this...maybe more than once.
That will be all I can say to help ya! Good luck!

Code:
ATI Mobility Radeon X1350
HP Compaq 6820s
Windows 8 (x64) / Windows 8.1 (x64) / Windows 10 (x64)
In addition If you get "Windows has determined your drivers are up to date" you need to click the "Have disk" option when updating drivers.
Installed Windows 10 last night om my 6820s. Works well, advanced setting are unavailable but resolution is changeable (and automatically set to optimal values).
So, working in Windows 10 :good: Stability might be an issue, I have some issues with energy saving modes. Never had it again after the first 2 days, so all good.
With the arival and installation of the new build of Windows 10 (v 10586) the system is reinstalled. Keep in mind that unsigned drivers are not activated after the 'upgrade' process. Store the drivers in a save place and repeat the process in the op after the upgrade.
Installed ATI mobility Readon on my Compaq 6820s ..though its running on Windows 8.1.. But the problem is that when I shut it down ..and power it on again, the system begins to heat up quickly.. So I always herbanate it now so that it wont be heating up like that l..so how can I helped resolve this issue thanks.

I didn't have this problem. I had some thermal issues but these were solved by cleaning the system fan an applying new thermalpaste.
My problem with my Actions X7 MP5 Portable Multimedia Player is as follows; when I connect the device to my PC
and push the "B-button" on the console to confirm "Power and Data" connection. The PC drivers are automaticly assigned.
Now I need some more detail for the further driver installation process. Cause the drive of the console shown as "O:\"
cannot be accessed to open the device it's data. So the media-player is recognised as a "Disk Station" plus as a "Portable Device" assigned as the "O:\" station as seen on both pictures on the bottom of this message.
Hopefully some of you forum readers can help me out with my question.

Go to Control Panel>Device Manager on PC. Connect the device with the Device Manager window open, when the device appears on the device list in Device Manager, what is it being labeled as? What driver is it selecting for the device? Can you manually change the driver in the device's slot by right clicking on the device then choosing the update driver option then choose the option to use software/files that are already on your PC then choose from a list of drivers that are already installed on your PC then see if there is a driver listed for the device that can be selected to load in the device's slot to make the O:\ drive accessible?

No after that handling the "O:/" drive ain't accessible. There is no driver installed when I look at the properties of the Actions media-player".
