HTCClay has released another update to his FastTest ROM, taking us to version 3.0.3. As the title suggests this is a quick ROM. As always from HTCClay’s ROMs it is also very smooth and great for everyday use. This one has a very nice new music player with some widgets for the music player too. The launcher has also been modified on this, very similar to the Nexus One launcher I have seen elsewhere. Battery life is very impressive too, finishing a day’s normal usage after setups and downloads with 40% left.
There was a small issue with setting up the Google mail account on this ROM, but with an install of the previous version of FastTest, run the initial setup and then install this new version without a wipe then it will work a charm. And once it you’ve got past this it works a charm

If stuck at google sign in (coming from other rom), just flash 3.0.2 then flash over 3.0.3 without wipe. Apparently it might works.

I'm aslo coming from Super D 1.8, that rom is very fast indeed but I kept on having some issues from time to time that were frustrating me, this one is the same on speed with about the same features, and now with us g1 users being able to over clock to 700+ its super quick

How can you overclock to 700mhz?
all i have seen is upto 550mhz.

Couldn't get 3G to work, on any version of this Rom. Made 100% sure the APN-settings were correct. Somebody I know had the exact same problem so it isn't just me, it just doesn't work on some mobiles.
Back to SuperD it is for me also.

I have yet to see a dev who objects to people praising his ROM and spreading the word.

Hell yes! I've been using this since saturday night, great ROM. It's replaced Super D 1.8 as my favorite rom currently.

description, and change log of the ROM would be nice. On the other hand props to htcclay on the amazing ROM, knew it would be a matter of time until some one passes up super d.

Yea, it lacks those sort of but ill tell you right now, im running it and its like lightning. Also has everything black themed, awesome ROM. Def go for it.
If anybody has a link to the official page for the ROM or changelog, please post it. I have the dev on twitter though as @htcclay.

I don't believe it is. This is much faster than SuperD 1.8 and I don't have any issues with this rom at all. For some reason my Home key wouldn't work with SuperD 1.8

Haha really? And now I feel like a dumb ass, however after flashing back to supper d I really dont like this rom anymore its not as fast as I thought it was. I think its because I had the 780mhz patch on this rom and I didn't have it on supper d

The theme might be more optimized. Themes actually do affect load times, I find.

Hello, everyone. thank phinnaeus for this creation, i just took some suggestions into consideration over in cyanogen thread(shift_), and re-edited framework to work again; since the framework id changes frequently with them its rather tedious for a dev to keep up with every single update, so i did this for anyone who might like it and for myself as something new to try, but of course i had to do a little modding myself.
additions to sculpted:
Manups font for his evo theme(shift asked for this)
I cyanized a few more elements
(check screens below)
changed button colors to white
changed battery to cyan
thats it....intended for use starting on 8.10 nightly
instructions:
flash 8.10 nightly
reboot
reboot recovery
flash theme
to avoid issues i suggest wiping cache/dalvic and uid
I DO NOT RECOMMEND DATA WIPE

i dont use my lp very often because of that reason alone, however you can also use 20+ app sc's in the dock with adw as well, and they are in color or fade. if you need help with this id be more than glad to tell you how.

not a stupid question, i posted this to share with everyone to answer your ? though,not as is. sense adds its own framework type of folder that has to be edited as well, and i have not been messing with sense alot lately since cyanogen is so incredible. i was using sense/froyo 7 weeks ago until flashing cm6, and i have not flashed anything since,which is remarkable only if you know me or what i do with android. Basically, i would also have to theme the resources apk too(basically the sense side of things) and then i would just apply those folders to existing systems. but i want to get a feel for what is more prevalent in the way of popularity of the NEW sense roms, and then i will go from there.

Have you considered making these metamorph compadible? It would make it easier when appling to new nightlies..

Just flashed the Sculpted Boost over the 8/11 nightly with the D3X-5T4R-V2 kernel but would not boot, stuck on the cyanogen mod screen.
Any ideas what would cause this?

My guess is the D3X-5T4R-V2 kernel since it flashed fine over my 8/11 nightly.

try the kernel less version. boost has an integrated snap5.01. just use the one at the very bottom of the page in the big download link. this is working well with 11 for me. keep me posted.

Thanks for the support mate! You're a legend here buddy. I hope we work together in the future that would be fun! Also for me I was having issues with the calendar in rotation and I decided to pull that apk from the Desire Z leak of 2.3.3 Sense and I found that one worked out okay for me as well!

on desire s it does, but not on dhd leak build 2.31 so i still have the graphic issue on it

IDK if most people do it but use script manager (from market) to run Bolt-Scripts for Thunderbolt!.

Don't take this personally or anything, I just decided to post this here...
But I'm getting REALLY tired of all these hellrisen ROMs. It's not anyone's fault, really, but hellraiser just sprouted a poostorm of ROMs that are more or less the same.
Again, don't take it personally, this had to be posted somewhere. I'm sure you did a good job.

Dont take it personally, but every custom "stock" ROM is basically the same because they're based off of the same firmware. (whether its a port or not) MIUI and CM7 differ from stock ROM's.
My advice is if you dont like them dont click on them? Dont want to see Hellraiser Ports buy a phone that doesnt support it

EDIT: thanks boost, I know that porting ROMs is a learning experience. Some people use it to get used to file structure so they can begin making their own.

It didn't have to be posted anywhere. Your OPINION should stay in YOUR head, cause nobody asked for it. This should have been posted in General or something.

This ROM looks extremely nice. Currently using a great rom hmm may have to try it.

Or they're all nicely done ports and I've never experienced one that's the same. I agree with Big, nothing had to be said. When you put even one hour into development, then you'll understand. I put a few in a couple of months back and then life kicked me in the balls so I had to put all that on hold. Point is, that it's not easy man, and you had no reason to post that.
