But I'm getting REALLY tired of all these hellrisen ROMs. It's not anyone's fault, really, but hellraiser just sprouted a poostorm of ROMs that are more or less the same.

Dont take it personally, but every custom "stock" ROM is basically the same because they're based off of the same firmware. (whether its a port or not) MIUI and CM7 differ from stock ROM's.
My advice is if you dont like them dont click on them? Dont want to see Hellraiser Ports buy a phone that doesnt support it

Or they're all nicely done ports and I've never experienced one that's the same. I agree with Big, nothing had to be said. When you put even one hour into development, then you'll understand. I put a few in a couple of months back and then life kicked me in the balls so I had to put all that on hold. Point is, that it's not easy man, and you had no reason to post that.

Not really. It's true that i use Oxygen as base, and in V1 there aren't much differences between them. But the big ones are under-the-hood (no apps2sd, etc).
PS: V2 Is coming in ~1 day. It's going to be a change in GUI mostly And of course some changes in apps.
PPS: due to new themes, and wallpapers, OXYGEN HBOOT will not be supported anymore Use CM7 instead.
V2 is almost done!

This rom is a porting of android 2.3.4 from optimus net, it is fully working except some bugs (see the end of the post).

HOW TO INSTALL:
You need latest gingerbread baseband (v20g).
Reboot in recovery
Partition SD card
wipe cache,data and dalvik + format system.
Finally flash the zip and reboot the phone.
Now the ROM has been succesfully flashed!
If you notice lags and you think that the rom is not fast enough, please flash paolo's v6 touchfix kernel.

If you could list the major differences between our stock P500 rom and the Optimus Net rom you have developed in the first post (you probably already plan to anyway) that would be great and probably save a bunch of questions later (probably not with some...)

i have not developed the rom....gianvolpe started the developement, then hecatae made gps, sensors, wifi (and maybe something other) working, finally i made camera working.
it is a stock 2.3.4 rom probably fully working and rooted.

Another LG **** but better what we got... New ON's lockscreen, better framework(which available on gbs rom) and alot of cool ****ty surprises...

it is smoother, faster, better graphic performance....
No need to open new thread, if you fixed the camera with the opro libs you should put that on the original thread where gianvolpe and hecatae were doing the port

Looks interesting; I'll give it a shot next time I'm on gingerbread.
Though just a recommendation: Change the packaged kernel to the non-fso version; I say that so its compatible with most phones. Fso breaks the system for some people; give people that want it the option to flash it.

No problem. Its just how it handles the system and doesn't always play nice. Just like a person that flashes an a2sd enabled rom and someone who isn't partitioned can't boot the rom; little things like that. Hope the rom is received well.

Its all good, and never a problem.
ONE more thing, I double checked and saw the rom is undervolted -75mv; -75mv is 'technically' aggressive, and too much. Personally I use -100mv, but not all can. The safest bet would be to use -25/-50 as most phones can handle that. You may want to bold that in the OP to avoid little things.

It should only matter if you're partitioned and use a2sd; I believe just how it handles the files/apps. I'd make a backup prior to flashing if you did.

it has to be on ext4 at least i think. i say this because it has 2 tweaks in a init.d file (remove jouralism and perfect mount) it said that its EXT4 tweaks. So maybe they wont hurt it if your phone isnt on EXT4 but maybe it will...you can try and let me know but do that at your own risk
