Though just a recommendation: Change the packaged kernel to the non-fso version; I say that so its compatible with most phones. Fso breaks the system for some people; give people that want it the option to flash it.

No problem. Its just how it handles the system and doesn't always play nice. Just like a person that flashes an a2sd enabled rom and someone who isn't partitioned can't boot the rom; little things like that. Hope the rom is received well.

Its all good, and never a problem.
ONE more thing, I double checked and saw the rom is undervolted -75mv; -75mv is 'technically' aggressive, and too much. Personally I use -100mv, but not all can. The safest bet would be to use -25/-50 as most phones can handle that. You may want to bold that in the OP to avoid little things.

It should only matter if you're partitioned and use a2sd; I believe just how it handles the files/apps. I'd make a backup prior to flashing if you did.

it has to be on ext4 at least i think. i say this because it has 2 tweaks in a init.d file (remove jouralism and perfect mount) it said that its EXT4 tweaks. So maybe they wont hurt it if your phone isnt on EXT4 but maybe it will...you can try and let me know but do that at your own risk

than the first time you press home it ask you wich home you want to chose, check use always this option, and press Home (not touchflow), and there you have, a speedy rom with the good things of Sense (except for the widgets, but you won't get them in other roms anyway )

I found this rom much more usable with touchFlow
(the best configuration on swap that I found is: 32MB, and 10 of swappiness, try it editing the /sdcard/swapinfo.txt

Here is an automatic apps that do the work for you,
it set up a new swap file with standard dimension of 65MB in /sdcard/swapfile.swp,
and for those who wants to personalize it,
just change the file /sdcard/swapinfo.txt
is obvious but I clear that too: first line path, second line dimension
Don't need to do anything to make it work just install it, and reboot the phone, it'll do the work for you!

Ok it booted up and I registerd my Google account and all that, and the dang thing just rebooted after i completed the wizard.

This ROM is completely 1.6 stock (framework, apps, etc) with the exception of the following enhancements:
1. Compcache enabled by default (no backing swap, just straight compcache)
2. Memory hack which gives you 107.5 megs of linux system memory
3. ROM works with both mt3g (32b) and g1 (dream).
4. Root enabled
5. Market should be fully working
6. Busybox
7. Loccy's enhanced Browser v1.5 with MT
8. Netfilter and iptables modules added to the kernel. Wifi tethering works with both "aNetShare" and "android-wifi-tether" apps.
9. Launcher with 5 screens
10. Apps2SD for G1/Dream users ext2/ext3 fs only [may need to format /system/sd (/dev/block/mmcblk0p2) partition if getting black screen]
11. Work Email App (Exchange Support)
12. Userinit.sh support in /sdcard directory
13. All built-in apps optimized with zipalign and optipng
Caveats:
* Because of the RAM Hack, 3d games will run slow!
* Does not support ext4 partition

Ridiculously fast is probably the best way to phrase it. Left Cyanogen's in the dust, and though I hate to say it... it's faster than xROM. Though xROM's theme was gorgeous...

Already really quick on Fender mytouch. Im taking it you left the cyan settings out on purpose because even trying to install it from newest nightly it doesnt show up.
Im also assuming that if you did do it on purpose, "Home in memory" is already set and or/CC/Swap?

You need latest gingerbread baseband (v20g).
Reboot in recovery
Partition SD card
wipe cache,data and dalvik + format system.
Finally flash the zip and reboot the phone.
Now the ROM has been succesfully flashed!
If you notice lags and you think that the rom is not fast enough, please flash paolo's v6 touchfix kernel.

If you could list the major differences between our stock P500 rom and the Optimus Net rom you have developed in the first post (you probably already plan to anyway) that would be great and probably save a bunch of questions later (probably not with some...)

i have not developed the rom....gianvolpe started the developement, then hecatae made gps, sensors, wifi (and maybe something other) working, finally i made camera working.
it is a stock 2.3.4 rom probably fully working and rooted.

it is smoother, faster, better graphic performance....
No need to open new thread, if you fixed the camera with the opro libs you should put that on the original thread where gianvolpe and hecatae were doing the port

But I'm getting REALLY tired of all these hellrisen ROMs. It's not anyone's fault, really, but hellraiser just sprouted a poostorm of ROMs that are more or less the same.

Dont take it personally, but every custom "stock" ROM is basically the same because they're based off of the same firmware. (whether its a port or not) MIUI and CM7 differ from stock ROM's.
My advice is if you dont like them dont click on them? Dont want to see Hellraiser Ports buy a phone that doesnt support it

Or they're all nicely done ports and I've never experienced one that's the same. I agree with Big, nothing had to be said. When you put even one hour into development, then you'll understand. I put a few in a couple of months back and then life kicked me in the balls so I had to put all that on hold. Point is, that it's not easy man, and you had no reason to post that.
