HELP!!!
I cannot reboot in recovery mode anymore.
I reainstalled clockworkmod from RomManager.
I tried everything:
1 - Rebooting in Recovery from ROM Manager
2 - Press vlup + power and then choosing recovery
3 - Press vldown + power
Only "Google" logo appears... nothing else.
Any idea?
TIA
Go back into your rom manager and at the very bottom select all recoveries. Install an older version of clockwork. That should work.

Thanks, it solved with 3.0.0.0 version.
Any problem n 3.0.0.5?
THX
The problem lies on flashing from the rom manager. Idk why but that's what it is.

I just installed the ATT stock ROM rooted, and when I now go into CWM Rom Manager, and try to reboot into recovery, or flash a rom from SD card, it says I need to reboot, then says press ok to reboot, I press ok and it just does nothing. Why isn't it rebooting?
Are you actually getting into CWM? Or is it just prompting you at the HTC bootloader screen to reboot? How did you flash the stock rooted rom?

I get into CWM just fine.
I go into CWM and press install ROM from SD, and select the ROM, then it says i need to reboot to install, I press OK, and then it just goes back to the CWM list of options, so I try "Reboot into recovery" and it just does nothing, as if I hadn't pressed anything, no reboot, nada.
I had this issue before with the ATT rooted ROM... not sure what's going on.
Actually I think I misread your post. Are you even getting out of Rom manager? I always boot into recovery by holding the volume down and pressing the power button from an off state. Rom manager is kind of quirky.

would be nice to have a simple way to boot into recovery tho.
ADB
ADB reboot recovery
Hold down volume and press power from an off state. Scroll down to recovery and hit the power button.

I just restart the phone & wait one sec then use the above method or use CWM.

Coredroid you can press the power button reboot and select recovery.
Both methods mentioned above work.
You can also install quickboot from the market. You can run it, or create a widget to boot directly into recovery.
Well as it says I have root rom manager says version 5.5 or whatever is installed yet no matter how I try to boot to recovery I see no cwm? Am I missing something?

Did you just say you installed CWM Recovery with ROM manager?
Did you try
Push and hold Vol down plus power button til you see words at top left corner
Immediately push Vol up within about 5 sec to get into recovery.
or you could use "Transformer reboot to recovery" app from market.
If you don't see CWM recovery do you see stock recovery?

For the love of GOD, if you used ROM Manager to flash CWM, you most likely have version 5.5.0.4... DO NOT USE IT!!!!
Refer to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1530337
Use Recovery Installer found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346180
That will install a usable version of CWM and save you a LOT of hassle.
Thanks for the help guys. Ill hit the thanks button on both of y'all since I used both . Worked perfect

So did you install cwm with ROM manager? If you did, so a normal reboot to sew what happened.
I did install it through ROM manager first but it never would boot to recovery. I tried booting through ROM manager and all it would do is reboot, so then I downloaded a app to recovery boot still just rebooted thats when i posted the question and yall answered. Hope this answered you question for me

Reason I asked was a lot of peoples have problems with CWM after flashing through ROM Manager. If it's working for you that's good.
No it didn't I ended up flashing the one that the other guy posted the installer for and it worked

Hi Friends,
Want to install an ICS ROM on my P500.
Rooted my device and installed ROM Manager on it.
Flashed it by selecting LG Optimus P 500.
After selecting recovery option, my device restarted and all the data was wiped out from my phone. (akin to factory reset).
Does not get into recovery mode at all.
I tried it 3 times and the same thing happened.
Seems flashing the device through ROM Manager does not work.
Any other way to do it!
Thanks!

Looks like you did the factory reset button combo. For recovery it is volume down + home + power.
And I recommend using amonra recovery

Actually,if there is no custom recovery installed, the same combo does a factory reset.
And the best way to flash recovery is this.
My recovery got corrupt due to which i had softbrick.
After all the searching.. THIS worked for me and is safe & easy!!
success
I was finally able to install CWM recovery 5.0.2.0 and flash my phone with JB ROM. :victory: :victory:
Now i have android version 4.1.1.
Well here is the deal. I was trying to install twrp recovery but couldn't get into odin mode..I tried vol- & pwr, vol+ & pwr..but to no avail. Only way to boot into odin mode is with adb commands, but when I go into odin mode it doesnt display my flash count or model of the tab. Any help would be appreciated..

Is your tab being detected by the comp in Odin mode..?
Thanks for the reply..Well I didn't try because I didn't see any of the information in the top left..would reflashing stock firmware like this work or result in brick.

Do u all have the backup on the old rom. IF yes try to restore the old Rom and retry to download and retry to install it again.
Well my tab is stock..I wanted to root and flash twrp recovery

Yeah its blank only if you use adb or the device reboot options for some reason. I guess since if you use volume buttons it shows a warning screen but doesnt with adb. You can check flash count and stuff in TriangleAway.

Ohh..well yea I see that now because now I'm rooted on cm10.1 and the flash counter in triangle away is now at 3 but it doesn't show anything in Odin mode..anyways thank you.
