After update my Optimus 7 E900 (LG) cant be unlocked with Chevron.My ZUNE client on PC (Windows 7 Ultimate OS 32 bit) havent restore points,but i made when i update the phone..My ZUNE client havent account login and marketplace,but its the last zune client with all updates..
After update,my phone is very slow..Now i want restore my 7004 OS Version,but i dont have restore points i dont know where are there..I go settings>phone>update but there havent restore points..only message your phone is up to date (7.0.7008) . Can you help to get old OS version (7004) ... I try factory reset,reset your phone,MFG .. And nothing.. Erase everything (music,video,pictures,apps) but OS version is 7008...i want 7004 .. CAN YOU HELP ME PLSSSS (((

I updated went to 7008 my phone got locked and rendered my sideload apps useless

OMG. Go to the Optimus 7 forum and flash a stock 7004 ROM.
You can unlock NoDo via MFG btw, so if unlocking is your issue you don't need to flash anything.
I have the same problem , My device is HTC HD7 , it's updated with NoDo and I can't downgrade to 7008 , my main reason is unlocking , is there a way to unlock it now?

Mate i understand what do I have to do ... I dont understand how to do it and what to downlaod.
Is the same if you were never done anything to fix your car engine and people jest tell you ,"ok just do it yourself no matter what" ...if there is no manual you won't go far is that right ?

With any flashing/unlocking of a mobile phone there are risks involved... if you are not prepared to accept those risks, keep your phone as is and move on.
No one here is going to hold your hand and do a step-by-step (plenty of FAQ's already out here), you have already plenty of information in our forums and in the web to be able to do this yourself, and for more specific HD7 questions, start visiting the appropriate forum.

You cannot back up your phone using this method. Zune will take a backup when you upgraded to 7390, but I'm not sure you can use this when you flash a new ROM.
Since you are TMOUS & reading the instructions from the post by ansar, you would need both of these:
1. RUU_Schubert_TMOUS_1.20.531.01_Radio_5.51.09.11a_2 2.31.50.09U_by_ansar
2. RUU_Schubert_TMOUS_1.54.531.02_Radio_5.51.09.29a_2 2.32.50.10U_by_ansar
Again, make sure you read the instructions carefully & search through that thread for any issues because there is always potential to break your device.

Maybe they're just two different versions. They look to be from the file size. I would just pick the second one. But you're best asking that question in the thread above because I don't have a HD7 and I'm just guessing

Can't communicate with phone usually indicates a connection/driver error. Make sure you only connect your USB when in bootloader mode. You may need to disable driver signature enforcement if you use Windows 7:

Failing that, try a different USB port & make sure the device shows up in device manager. Also, make sure your device is recognised by Zune.
You could try the other ROM too, but it most likely would show the same error.

I Do Upgrade for my JAMIN with PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 & it was Succeed With out any trouble
Than I Try to upgrade to 2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition but my Phone Stack So I reset as say after 30 m (about 48m)
The Baggiest Problem for me after reset my Jamin Stack in Booting (Just show Rom Version & Other) after that noting Happen..

Second you should read before flashing your device... ...you havn't provide us with enough info, is your device CID unlocked? What SPL version do you have, do you have an G3 of G4 device?
Did you try to turn on your device and on the 3 color screen execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 again?

I did it & connect to usb but when i execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 it's show me No Device Connect

You had to CID unlock your phone first!
The only thing you can do I guess is install the NoVendorID Asia version for the Dopod.
You can't install the PDAMobiz ROM because there has to be an AS connection.
Try looking for: RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip on the XDA ftp.

You should try to flash your device with the ROM mentioned before.
After that you can try to CID Unlock your phone:

I try to flash my device with ROM RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S hip-NoVendorID.zip and I was very happy because it’s start to flash ROM but after rich 95% it’s stop and show me Error INVALED COMMAND ... I tray many times but all same
Even my device now when ever I turn ON it’s go to boot loader mode

Now, i have Qtek900o (Universal) from my friend.
I want to make upgrade on WM6.
Just asking if i'm right...

I seem to be having the same issue but no one seems to reply to my thread either... I tried to go through the CID unlock on the wiki but I keep getting an error device not connected whenever I try to put 'Button' ROM on ... also I click on the link to CID unlock on the WIKI and get a load of instructions for the Wizard, im not sure if this is correct... could someone out there please give us some help ? all id like to do is get WM6 on so I can get MSN working on my phone..... I have never Cid unlocked. I just use the patched maupgrade_noid.exe to flash as it bypases the CID check.
Also my G4 had the latest bootloader (2.01) in when I got it.
Be careful when changing the bootloader as if you get it wrong you have a very expensive paperwieght.

Hi guys I have htc X7510 with French WM6.1, I wanna switch it into English one, kindly give me hands to do it.
If your X7510 is already CID unlocked simply download one of Michys ROMs and install it.
If it is not unlocked, use cmonex way to change SPL, see "sticky" threads.

Ok sorry to jump the thread, but since i have a similar thing going on ( German to English), i try to straight this out..
My Phone is unlocked, not any Branding, nothing, just in German ( got it as a gift from a friend)
So i gonna take one of this Rom´s ( for example the new Win 6.5 ), follow the instructions as seen at several Threads and that´s it?

You must make sure it is CID unlocked- not just SIM unlocked.
If in doubt, follow the instructions for installing HardSPL in the sticky thread at the top of this forum.
Once thats done, you can then install any ROM you want Make sure it is specifiucally for the X7510 though. X7500 ROMs won't work.
Don't bother with the WM6.5 ROMs yet- they simply don't work well enough for everyday use, but the WM6.1 ROMs are good.

ZongaBr, please, the opposite. First read and then flash your device. Other way you are gonna end up with a brick in your hand. But you already know it.
CID lock is a feature of SPL imposed by HTC and other phone producers, to make sure that the device produced for eg. for T-Mobile, with a specific ROM will not accept any other ROM made for, let's say O2. If your device is still CID locked and you try to flash it with any rom not aimed for this device, then you can have a brick after that or in best, it just refuses to be flashed, depending how advanced the flasher is.
But if you use this CID unlock procedure made by cmonx (from first sticky here) you will prepare your device to any ROM you wish providing that it is for X7510.
You can be sure i am going to read as much as i can ,and not before i understand how to do it the right way i will not try to do anything stupid!
I am new to Phone flashing, and changing ROM´s ect.
But i did work with other hardware like Game console, DVD, Sat rec.. and VoiP devices as well, and changed firmware, unlock and whatever.
I will report back, or even ask more questions in my Own Thread as soon i have the time to read me into this.

I had a clean NoDo version (NoDo Based Phone) and i went on to "update" it into Mango without unlocking it and i now face a problem of installing .xap files into my phone.. :S
Yea. So i went to look for solutions and i know that i'll have to restore my phone and unlock it before updating to Mango so that it'll be a unlocked Mango. But the problem is all i see on the net is to unlock the NoDo version using Chevron and if i'm not wrong it is currently down..

By creating a dev account which i can't and idk why :S.
I hope that you people can help me out.. I've been stuckeddd for a few days already :/
And how can i check if my phone is locked, i heard from people saying i can check it by trying if "Connection Setup" works on a mangoed phone. Mine works but well.. Idk :S. Hi Junshengkoh,
Read through this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1215501, it provides a complete guide on how to perform the unlocked Mango upgrade. It also refers to another guide by Ansar which will show you how to perform the XML provisioning at each step to ensure you keep your unlocked status.

I don't think there is a way to do the Chevron unlock on the CDMA WP7 phones that come with NoDo stock. You have to be pre-NoDo for Chevron to work and there is no pre-NoDo CDMA ROM (I think; I could be wrong). I am in the same situation and paid to become a developer to get mine unlocked. Sorry...

Hi Mate. Please understand that because you have an OEM device (HTC), the only way to unlock your phone is by following the instructions given by htcdev.com. Check and double check that you are following the instructions correctly (that's where people usually make mistakes - myself included).
