I need to cid unlock my prophet(s200,jamin)
I tryed with the software in wiki-developers
but it makes problem does anybody help me by cid unlocking for chipshet for 0001

I read the entire post. It is NOT a CID unlock, basically the guy just ran aWizard and ignored the error of CID unlock error. The screen says CID unlock success, but it doesnt really unlock CID. rest explains what roms he used to update his O2 xda. Mostly are in Simplified Chinese ROM. Nothing special or new in that post. Search is still on.

If you want to install a new ROM then there is no need to unlock CID. This procedure explains a method for updating all components except IPL/SPL on a Wizard. The same procedure and the same tools in the document can be used on a Prophet.
Pay attention to the warnings on the first page though. The procedure is not trivial so make sure you know what you are doing before you actually do it!

Yep! Works well, as long as you try AKU2.x or better for the OS module. It didn't work with i-mate's old 1.2 ROM for JAMin but that just confirms what the article says. Everything else I've tried so far worked.

I have used the procedure tonight and all worked perfectly!
Enough simple and with no unpgrading problems!
Now I have Italian rom on my device!

Do the settings remain the same as k-jam (ex. OS start address 80040000, HTC logo ?

Yes that rom and the configuration is the SAME of K-Jam (i had a 02 Mini S before thiefed :-(( )

Probably I made something wrong, my device is DEAD!!! I have been severals hours to fix it but no way.

You have missmatch in IPL and SPL version.
Your IPL is corresponding to DOC G3, but SPL DOC G4.
This should not be the case. What was your original DOC?
Do you have USB connection when in rainbow screen?

No, I don't have a USB connection. Tonight I was thinking and I going to try to put the ROM stop at bootloader. Let me try it now. As soon as I have some news I'll post it. Thanks!

I just finish to download the Dopod 818 Pro Rom stop at bootloader fix but now the problem is getting biger, I mean, the battery is empty, so I can not charge the device with the USB or AC cable. I have to find a battery to try with this Rom. Or go to the technical support and try to fix it.
The screen is on and of by it self efvery couple minutes (just for a while)

Finally I got a charged battery from my brothyer and I started to download the mentioned rom, but at 80% stop, I get an error message.
ERROR 326 Invalid Command. This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA Phoen. Please check your NBF.
How could I do? Suggestions???

I made a call phone to the service mantenience and I have a date to try to fix it. I'm affraid they are going to tell me something I don't like to heard, but...
Now I'm going to start a new life without my Prophet for a few days, or at least, hope so.

I Do Upgrade for my JAMIN with PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 & it was Succeed With out any trouble
Than I Try to upgrade to 2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition but my Phone Stack So I reset as say after 30 m (about 48m)
The Baggiest Problem for me after reset my Jamin Stack in Booting (Just show Rom Version & Other) after that noting Happen..
I tray to format But also same. I tray to boot from USB & Install Original ROM I get This Error
ERROR [296] UPGRADE ONLY
This NBF file connects used for your PDA Phone. Please get newer NBF file.
Is there any way to erase ROM and Re Upgrade with Old ROM

Second you should read before flashing your device... ...you havn't provide us with enough info, is your device CID unlocked? What SPL version do you have, do you have an G3 of G4 device?
Did you try to turn on your device and on the 3 color screen execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 again?

I did it & connect to usb but when i execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 it's show me No Device Connect

You had to CID unlock your phone first!
The only thing you can do I guess is install the NoVendorID Asia version for the Dopod.
You can't install the PDAMobiz ROM because there has to be an AS connection.
Try looking for: RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip on the XDA ftp.

You should try to flash your device with the ROM mentioned before.
After that you can try to CID Unlock your phone:

I try to flash my device with ROM RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S hip-NoVendorID.zip and I was very happy because it’s start to flash ROM but after rich 95% it’s stop and show me Error INVALED COMMAND ... I tray many times but all same
Even my device now when ever I turn ON it’s go to boot loader mode

Error (302): Update Error when updating to XM6r2

Hi Everyone!
I am trying to install the XM6r2 version of rom provided by mfrazzz in the post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=315178
and I am following all the steps as you specified in your first mail, and when I say I am following the steps, I mean, I am doing the base Rom installation from my provider, then Splash screen stuff for G4 users, then Radio rom stuff as you specified in your first post and then I am coming to the step of Installing your XM6r2 rom, but everytime at the end of the installation = after 99%, I am getting the error Error (302): Update Error and then it ask for the recovery.
Can anyone please help me with this problem, I really want to try this rom you provided, also I am quite new to this stuff but since last three days I read some stuff about the roms etc. so I know atleast that my device is XDA mini S is a G4 device because my IPL/SPL is 2.xx.xxx.1.
moreover:some more info about my XDA
ROM Ver: 2.21.4.1 WWE
Radio Ver: 02.07.10
Protocol Version: 413.1.03
ExtROM Version:2.21.4.101
If I am doing something wrong please point me out or help me with this problem.

Are you running the ruu to run the update on your G4? Try Shelltools instead. Sorry, I know very little about G4's so can't help you much more than that, but there are lots of people with G4's running XM6r2.
You may have more luck posting in the G4 Wizard forum if people don't respond to you here (this is really a G4 issue and not a WM6 issue).

Were your contacts stored on your SIM card? If not then your contacts went bye-bye when you installed the new rom.

By default the rom hides sim contacts...go into start, programs, and use the sim managerto copy the sim contacts to the phone or do a search for the registry hack which hides sim contacts and disable it.

I am trying to install the XM6r2 version of rom provided by mfrazzz too. but i have a G3 (cingular 8125)
ROM 2.25.11.1.WWE
Radio : 02.25.11
Protocal : 4.1.13.12
i have tried 2 different Rom's from here
1. XDA Mobile 6 r2a
2. Tri-Syn-WM6
in either cases i get the same error 302 and it reaches 99% and gives me the same.... I have an unlocked pone and it is also CID unlocked.
any tips.... or if u can link me to a direct ROM which can help, i'll be highly appreciated.
here i have found 100's of rom's but nothing which actually can update a 8125 cingular to WM6.
i also read a lot abt briking. so im scared to glory before error something or getting myself an expensive paperweight. HELP

I have a Cingular 8125 (as well as many others here) and the roms here will all work IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY...
Are you sure you are CID Unlocked? This is different than SIM unlocking. I would highly recommend you read the stickied post on how to flash a device and make sure you have done all the steps to CID Unlock your phone and that you didn't skip anything. If you haven't gotten both of your IPL and SPL down to 1.xx then you have NOT CID Unlocked (if you have a G3).
Good luck, but if you follow all of the directions provided to you, this stuff will work.

i believe i've just dug myself a grave. i've argeed to try repair my girlfriends' dad's wizard.
i am at work right now i have had a sms telling me that he "tried" to upgrade his wizard and now it is stuck in the tricolor boot section.
as i dont have a wizard and only a hermes. i would really appriciate it, if you bros, could tell me what i need to do to repair it.
did he forget to "super CID"?
again, i'd really appriciate it if you guys could point me to the right direction to repair this asap for him.

Get the latest official ROM (check the Wiki for the list), flash it. Use ShellTool to flash any WM6 ROM (CID unlock not required).

from what i gather in your reply, do i basically download any rom (E.g. XDA's Mobile) and flash it using ShellTool and all should be good?
by the way, where is ShellTool? i searched but could not find a thread on ShellTool.

Shelltool does not work via BootLoader, but from within Windows Mobile. Download the Appropiate Brand-ROM (T-Mobile/QTEK/Imate) and then upgrade.

The best advice is to follow this guide as it will step you through the process by pointing you to various roms and threads:

The key thing with a Wizard device is knowing if you have a G3 or G4. G3's are pretty forgiving, but a G4 can be bricked if you try to flash a rom with IPL/SPL that is not from the official rom for that particular phone. If you have the true official rom for that phone, then yes, just flash it and then you should have a working device again, then can follow the steps to CID Unlock it.
Oh, and last word of info... G4's cannot be CID unlocked with tools around here. You have to pay to have it CID Unlocked from IMEI Check. Or (as stated above) you can flash a different rom with Shell Tools (look in the G4 subforum of the Wizard area for info and usage on ShellTool).

I have read many forums on how to unlock the CID, but I am confused. I have read that it has not been done with the Universal, then I read a sticky that has the RUU and says it "bypasses" the CID. Well the biggets problem is that there are no instruccions on it.
Could someone please help me?
Is this why I enter where people offer roms, and have one for each variant? no CID unbloking required?
Please help! I want to start flashing, but I want to be sure of what I am doing.
One more thing, what is the RUU?

the sim-unlocker by Buzz_Lightyear also unlocks you're CID
Olipro made an RUU that doesnt check CID
For these two reasons you dont need to make rom's for each brand of universal, however i know of at least one cook who does.

Well I did read wiki, but there is nothing clear on it. I will keep studying them.
My SIM is unlocked anyways, does that automaticaly give me the go?

Nope, SIM and CID unlocking are completely different. A SIM Lock makes sure you cant use different vendor's SIMs on your cell phone. The CID Lock makes sure that you cant use different OS on your PDA. Like, if you've got a T-Mobile OS installed that is CID Locked, trying to install O2's WM6 will mess up your PDA!
