It seems the version of Flash 10.1 on the leaked 2.2 ROM is an older version than what's on the Market but the Market doesn't show Flash. Can someone please post the APK for the current Flash 10.1 that's on the Android Market?

Are you serious? This site issues 3 day suspensions for someone accidentily posting a question in the wrong area LOL, you have got to be kidding me. Get off your high horse and just tell me people and if you want them to post in different areas. I can see the need to keep the threads clean and most will adhere to what is needed, but honestly threats are uncalled for unless it is consistently the same person doing it!

Can we get this thread back on track. Personally, i both agree and disagree with issueing 3 day bans, but its not the point. I hate questions that belong in general and are posted in the dev section, but tjat is not the point.
This thread is about friggin flash light for petes sakes. It is not a debate on if three day bans are called for or not.

To an extent I can understand getting tired of the same questions over and over. I can understand if someone asks something on page 284 in a thread that was potentially answered all the way back on page 56 of the same thread. But when the answer to the question is three posts up (or a page back)... yeah that's being absolutely lazy.

You have a valid point. However, when you say it with cursing and misspelled words, it puts your argument on a foundation built on quicksand.
I generally do not like reading through 10 pages of comments in order to find possible bugs and such that go something like:
"WHEN'S THE NEXT UPDATE COMING OUT???!!!" or "THANKSSSS WORKS GREAT ON MY PHONE!!!!"
People can say those things (at least the later one [no developer likes hearing about ETAs]) in the normal forums. Save your praises for the said ROM there guys.
However, I don't expect it to change, because most of those that would be doing that would also not care about reading this thread or changing their habits, sadly
Mostly, the forums just need more consistent moderation of topics to prune out posts that aren't needed in development threads or have them relocated to another forum/thread where they can be seen, but not deleted.

My point is that this community is here to help each other get the most out of their technology. There are many of us who sincerely attempt to answer questions and help people troubleshoot, not to mention the developers that put in long hours making these phones more useable.

It really makes it super hard to find the legitimate and worthwhile information here(which is plentiful) with all these people looking for controversy and negativity is just not constructive at all. There's a treasure trove of information here hidden within a good ole' fashioned internet "I AM A ENTHUSTIAST AND THIS DOESN"T STACK UP" circle jerk.

I haven't checked out "Quit Your *****in'" post, but I can agree that it is getting really annoying. If your gonna ***** then please feel free to do so in one post and stop making post after post about the same thing. I purposely did not check out a lot of the post complaining about the G2x because I'm personally not facing any of these issues especially since the update. The only issue I am having is the stock camera being dark instead of LG's original camera, so what post do you think I constantly look into? FLAK0's post about porting LG's Camera to Gingerbread. PLEASE LETS FIND A POST THAT FITS YOUR ISSUE AND STICK TO IT! THERE'S TONS OF REPEAT POST SO I AM SURE YOU WON'T HAVE A PROBLEM FINDING YOUR FIX.

Lol its a beautiful day in Orlando. I'm great to be honest. And I actually am usually not so bothered by other's complaints, especially not to the point of starting a new thread. I think I've only started one other thread on here and it was about features and tips on using the phone. But there has just been something about the way everyone here keeps talking about the G2X that drives me nuts (that reminds me of a pirate joke of you ever want to hear it). A good constructive complaint is actually helpful but most of what has been posted here, especially since this update started rolling out, has been pathetic whining from people about how T-Mobile and LG have F'd them all and how they are entitled to some sort of retribution. It really is nonsense.
The G2X is one of the fastest and most powerful phones on the market. It had some hiccups at first but its getting better. The software update came out fairly quickly in my opinion. And we have greet dev support for this phone. I don't see much to complain about. No product is perfect, ever. That's why you modify and make it your own and figure out how to improve it to suit your own needs.
Do I let people get to me usually? No. But it is getting out of hand here. Maybe me posting this doesn't help a thing but maybe someone will read it and take a step back and look at how awesome this phone really is.

I say again. IMO, you people who are complaining about the whiners are bigger whiners. This qualifies as needless harassment of people who are just trying to get some straight answers about their phones.
If you go to the LG site, you will see that the responses to legitmate questions are still being ignored. There are still many people who cannot download the update at all. The camera is screwed up ? It's a failure when so many people are having problems. It looks to me like the ones that are bad in the first place are still not working after the update.
I resent my fellow xdaers attacking me and others and I resent the name calling. I sincerely feel that all of you making these comments are worse than me who is simply standing up for my rights. If you want to be an apologist who thinks because you have a good phone or few problems the rest of us should just roll over that's fine. But I stand by my opinions. And I'll continue to patricipate in the discussions which is my right and prerorative.
Bottom line? Polls are still being made that show the rate of unhappiness or bad phones is at least 2 out of 3 or worse.
And sorry, but I still think that each of you who continues to dog people are the biggest jerks here . Why don't you just SHUT THE HELL UP. You've all repeated it over and over. He got tired of the BS that goes on around here. He said that he was tired of answering question that could be answering by people just doing a little research, and was also tired of people not following the "rules." I completely understand his frustration. He wrote a huge post about it which I think can be found in the gerneral section titled "thinking of leaving XDA" or something like that. He even said he was thinking of disappearing and keeping his work to himself. I do not know if he has stopped deving or just went somewhere else. But god I hope he hasn't stopped deving for us.
Damn noobs making all the mistakes, yet we get the consequences aswell.

I actually had some free time and i decided to read alot of the threads last night and i can see why you all get so frustrated with people asking "when will you be done??" "how does this work??" I had to read for about three days on just how to even root.. let alone flash my first rom.. but we all wont learn everything if we dont take the time to read it fully ( I love the whole trial and error of it.) Im by all means am not tech savvy but this site has all the answers to ALL the questions to ALL the beautiful roms on this site.. kernel's, roms, baseband, builds, and even mods.. all work in conjunction with eachother.. for me its like putting my own perfect puzzle together to my liking.. Brian has helped me out alot.. Ive only been a member on this site for a short period of time and it pains me that you all feel this way.. Im not a dev.. Im a nurse.. I do know from my career it can be frustrating from people asking the same questions over and over and over.. Ive asked alot of questions and you all have been so helpful to me.. Im just sorry you all feel this way.. I remember signing up a few months ago i watched the video and i got it.. there are alot of different personalities on this site some good some bad.. its just sad that a few "idiots" have got to screw it up for the rest of us that are willing to learn... Ive learned alot in my two months of being here and i just wanted to take the time and say thanks to all of you.. I love this site im on it all the time.. for me personally its a great site my Favorite period.. its just sad that all this ignorance would cause a great person to leave.. thanks Brian for all you have helped me with.. blessings to you and your family man..
