[ROM][9 MAR]CoreDroid HD V9.4|GB 2.3.5|SENSE 3.5|SUPER SMOOTH|LordMod KERNEL|ONLINE! - HTC Inspire 4G

MOD EDIT: As of November 7th CoreDroid officially moved all its support to another site.
Due to repeated kanging from other Roms as well as needing CST paid version to obtain the latest version of the Rom, anything related to the CoreDroid team is not allowed to be posted anymore on XDA and is from now on considered warez.
This includes: Signatures, links, themes, as well as any work developed by the CD team or included in any Rom.
TL;dr: If you included anything from CD in your work, you have to remove it.
We appreciate your understanding on the matter in hand,

NO need is not mandatory.

For those of you that have an inspire 4g and havent rooted yet, today would be good day to do that. The roms are coming starting today. Just flashed this core droid 2.5 rom, mainly cause i love having battery circle mod, and just loaded setcpu to 1.22 gighrz overclock and im now getting 45+ Mflops and 2500+ quadrant scores. Audio working without flashing stock kernel and youtube and other media streaming apps now working aswell. Today is a good day!

Just flashed this ROM..everything is working so far but the audio is tinny

Hoping anyone can post their results with the Rom and if the following is working:
WIFI
Bluetooth
HSUPA Enabled
Hotspot Capable
Audio Quality Okay
Also is an additional Kernel required to get it working on the Inspire?

WIFI - Working
Bluetooth - Working
HSUPA Enabled - Yes
Hotspot Capable - Yes
Audio Quality Okay - Small amount of static on my end but my girlfriend said everything was perfectly clear from her iphone (I haven't tried any other radios or kernals yet except the telus kernal which worked flawlessly)
EDIT: didnt see your last bit, to answer your question, no you don't need additional kernal, all set after flash

The in-call audio is definitely tinny for me. It sounds like the speaker is shot lol. I've had this problem with all the ROMS I've tried and I always end up going back to stock rooted where the audio quality is perfect.

alright guys. heard sacs is having some trouble with original ruu base for hd rom right now. but i know hes on it, maybe updates tonight. plus cams fixes added. Refer to FAQ.
I flashed this Rom and its pretty nice so far but I have two quedtoons. When I flashed this after going through the setup steps I didn't have a data connection I went into network settings and it wouldn't connect to a network. I rebooted and it connected fine but why would it do that? Second question is what is the 3g connection symbol? Does the 1x represent 3g?

Note discussion of what the patch does and what it replaces.
Note confirming ICS support from various users.
Note section has gotten long, but covers most questions I am repeatedly asked.

Download section reminds people to backup their settings. You only need to backup /system/etc/gps.conf and /system/etc/suplrootcert if you have one. But, I never had to revert!

[Q] CM9 - Any way to boost speaker volume?

Simply put - I love CM9 , but the volume coming out the speaker for notifications, alarms and rings is simply not loud enough.
I know in the past (Back in the CM7 days) there were some 3rd party apps available on the market that would boost the audio output - does anyone know if there is a way to boost it in CM9 in it's present nightly form?
Thanks in advance!

Get Volume+ (Volume boost) app.
So, it DOES work with CM9? That was the app I knew worked with CM7...
I read some of the comments on the app and seems CM7 was the highest I could find that it for sure worked with.

I'm not sure, if this works, you'll have to try it out mate. (I don't use CM)
Also, I've herd a fix maybe coming up. Not sure of that either.
Ok - if I get a chance I'll download the latest CM9 nightly and try it today. I'm on OrDroid at the moment because it has no issues with volume.

Ive used Volume+ successfully with a couple Sense ICS roms (ARHD and stock), so it should work with CM9 as well. dont quote me on that tho lol
I also used volume plus when I was using vi. It worked, not like I really wanted it to but it slightly raised my volume better than it was before. Give it a try and let us know how it went ok? Hope it works for you! Good luck

[Q] 2-Way Recording for HTC One S?

Alright, so i was sifting through other threads on other phones and saw that the One X has 2-way recording enabled through a kernel mod and what not. In short, Id like to see if any of the kernels we have, have the feature enabled and if not if a developer would like to make it for us. I realize the legality issues of recording calls, I would just like the feature cause I record my calls with my loved ones.
Heres the link to the thread I found here for the One X
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1567580
Thank you in advance! I love XDA, I finally switched to Cricket to T-Mobile and am loving my HTC One S
Kernel development pretty much just got started on the One S since the source code was just recently released. At some point in the future it will probably be an option, just keep an eye on the kernel threads in the android development section of this forum. When it's in a changelog you'll know you've got it.
Thanks a bunch Kinda figured that would be the answer, maybe soon. Id like to have that option. Gotta keep posting around and learn more about this forum. Ive been on prepaid for awhile, its kinda a big shift to come here, especially with HTC and their Sense modifications. All my previous phones have been Huawei. I definitely like the One S though, its a beast and all my phones previous to this suuucked in comparison.

Also, I found that two way call recording worked fine w/ root but stock rom/kernel until the OTA. Then it stopped working. But the file from the link above seemed to fix the problem for me.

I don't know about Viper personally but the previous post suggests it works. I also use call recorder and it works...although i recently ran into a separate problem involving call recording in conjunction w/ wifi calling.
But you just take that file and replace the same file in /system/lib/ (and of course make a backup of the original)

Hello. There is a solution to the problem?
2-Way Recording for HTC One S
I have HTC One S US version from T-mobile, sure rooted, Android 4.0.4 and of course no application (I tried a lot of them) doesn't record opponent's voice on my phone.
So replacing libalsa-intf.so under \system\lib\ didn't resolve the problem.
But solution for HTC One X fixed this problem on my phone. I just installed Sound_Phone_Original_REC.zip from recovery mode and now it records both voices well, no noise. Only one weird thing after installing that phone rebooted two or three times and it took about 3 to 5 mins but now everything looks good. All others appl work without falling.
I use Auto Call Recorder application which is probably 2nd on search android market (red circle logo with green handset inside). Others probable also will work but I already tired testing them. As I get all of them use the same recording algorithm.
Does any AOSP ROM allow 2-way call recording?
On Sense Rom like Venom ot Trickdroid I can record a call hearing 2 voices.
Last time when I checked CM or AOKP ROMs I could only hear my voice.
So, has this option been implemented in new AOSP ROMs, or Kernels?

CM10 mic really really low

Hey Guys so I rooted my HTC ONE X software 2.20 via the temp root, installed twrp recovery and flashed the CM10 Jelly Bean based rom. So far every thing works 100% great as far as i can tell the only issue I have discovered so far is when record video the MIC seems to capture the audio really really low. So when we play the video back can't even hear anything very very low. I know it's not the speaker phone audio, because when i put the phone on speaker when making a call it is loud as normal. When i play movies from youtube it is also Loud as normal, but when playing a video that i recorded with my own phone its really really low.
Does anyone know of a fix? I also tried downloading a different camera app from the Google Play Store and i received the same results where it is record video with very low audio. Thank you.
Haha, oh no! This bug is actually the reason I left the GS3. I think it's possible that it's a CM10 bug. Has anyone experienced this on AOKP or older versions of CM10? I find this to be most unfortunate, but not a big deal as I'm glad to have such a beautiful screen again.
I wonder if the bug is just in the CM10 camera app itself

I don't think it's the CM10 camera app, because i downloaded UCAM app and i have the same results. :/ Hope someone comes up with a fix or a way to trick it Other then this bug every thing works great!
So I just performed more testing. I downloaded 2 voice recorder apps and discover that both of them also recorded very low. So it seems like a Mic issue when it records it is not boosted high enough.
Anyone know of a Mic fix for when recording with the HTC One X on CM10 ROM?
There was an issue in the earlier CM10/AOKP with low mic volume in calls. Is that happening to you?
I think the issue was fixed, so there may be incorrect settings or faulty hardware.

No in calls it's fine everyone can hear me just fine no issues there. It's only when you use the mic to record for example when record VIDEO footage, recording notes via voice recording apps.
