This rom was not intended for the EVO, it is a port and has bugs; it is built off the Desire HD 3.29 base. Close to it original source code, just modified for the your phone

Some Kernels will cause a sort of "Screen Tearing" (not normal, but no harm will be done)

it doesn't fix front camera..if u want front cam then u have to flash incdoes-evo-cam patch..but then its limited to only 5mp

alright guys. heard sacs is having some trouble with original ruu base for hd rom right now. but i know hes on it, maybe updates tonight. plus cams fixes added. Refer to FAQ.
I flashed this Rom and its pretty nice so far but I have two quedtoons. When I flashed this after going through the setup steps I didn't have a data connection I went into network settings and it wouldn't connect to a network. I rebooted and it connected fine but why would it do that? Second question is what is the 3g connection symbol? Does the 1x represent 3g?

Its a base from IncDoes still, sacs is currently, as of right now, trying to base the build of the latest ruu. So to answer both your questions, i dont know, but i will look into it right now for you.

Battery drain seems to be pretty fast with this Rom. I have checked and it is sleeping but the drain seems faster than my last Rom

hmm, flash one of netarchys kernels over. nohavs smartass universal may help. also download Android Terminal Emulator in the market, sacs roms come stock with the collin_ph battery tweak

Just flashed. Stuck on the "X" boot animation for about 10 minutes or so...
Worked ok for the time I tested it. Really didn't want to use all my 200mb of att great net. I did try to install adobe flash but the browser just kept crashing with it so I am assuming either a hack or a no go. Seems pretty stable for base os. Wishing you luck on the kernel compile build.

anyone else having problem pulling up a browser? its FC'ing without an error.
-the Multitouch keyboard from the other thread as well doesnt work and pops up errors to FC in a spam able fashion so make sure you disable it before you flash
-.avi files sound play but video is unwatchable

This is a big double yes for me. First Froyo YEAH!!!! second I don't have an Aria yet YEAH!!!. I'm happy about the second fact because if I had the phone right now I would be so torn on this rom because of the lack of wifi. Now I don't have to feel so anxious since I am waiting anyway for hte phone. So hopefully when I do get it wifi will be fixed and I will be double happy again. Thanks Attn1 and Eugene.
Correction. I can download some paid apps, just not slingplayer. Rom is snappy otherwise.

Thanks! This is the first ROM that should include 4G at some point but also have a different feel to it. I am pretty excited that someone is working on this.

is for tmobile and supposed to have 4g speeds and thats why the name is like that, because tmobile supposed to have 4g or higher speeds

CLARIFICATION:For starters let me say thanks to everyone that has checked out this port. I appreciate everyones help and support although, some seem to think I used mbobino's mytouch port as a base. This is incorrect. I used this as my base http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178288. It is the 2.3.4 stock rom for the Galcier, not 2.3.3. I had talked to the dev about continuing that port but then noticed that there was an update and decided to take it on as my first port. Ok, since that's outta the way, on with the show!!!!
INTRO:
This is my first attempt at a port. There are issues that I am working on to get this as stable as possible so please have patience. I took on this port after using mbobino's 2.3.3. port of the Mytouch 4g and falling in love with what I personally think Sense should look like.
This as it stands is the 2.3.4 GB leak for the Mytouch 4g. This is a "Work In Progress" but there will be updates. I use this rom as it stands as a daily and its issues doesn't cause me any issues or complaints. The main goal I have for this rom is to have it as close to a stock rom experience as possible. Being that I am still learning, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hello guys, Just testing out a new rom.
It is made off 4 Kornerz ROM from Diablo67. It is call 4KMods, It is running original kernal but is compatible with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570308 which is the underworld Sense Kernal.
Edit:The release of the 4KCM7 ROM is here only because it is going to be the "Light Weight" edition, CM7 itself is not fully functional as of this post, but will be my main priority for initializing the same Webtop experience from the Atrix/Atrix2/Razr/etc..
^^Also, the 4 Kornerz ROM base I am working will be more of the "Working Class, get it done right" ROM, meaning everything works 4G video etc..

I found WebTop mods that may be able to boot up on the Evo, might just include an ubuntu build script for easy install/download?

Just put CM7 into my Kitchen, and I will also be doing work on that, CM7 will be easier to do the built in ubuntu with as it is just pretty much a base, BUT I'll do minimal mods as far as CM7 goes.

The problem is IDK what to use as far as scripts, where would I get a script that will download AND install ubuntu for you, Like an all-in-one script to do it and then include a terminal app to run it?

I would love to help, but sadly I know close to nothing about development. Would there be an issue with having terminal pre-installed, and then have the script within the ROM, and have the command to activate the script in the OP?

There would be no issues with that at all. In fact there is a rom like that for the HTC thunderbolt, but I have no idea how to port..
Why no ICS love? Whole lotta Gingerbread baking going on, not enough Ice Cream licking...don't be scurred! You wanna do something special, use ICS as a base and get creative!

Well bimmerman7,
I am not using ICS because it is still unstable for our device we are working on.
I will be using CM7 as the end product but I'll still be working on 4 Kornerz because to be honest I am loving the 4 corners he has put in the launcher.

How about 4Korners ICS! That would be tight! Have you flashed any ICS recently? The only thing not working is video recording, FFC, and 4G. Really unless you are a narcissistic a-hole how often do you really use it? If more people devved for Android 4.0 maybe these issues could be solved to...that's all I'm saying...We are 6 months into having ICS for our Evos and still dont have a fully functional complete ICS rom , its time to quit piddling with Gingerbread and move on....how many Sense 1.0 roms do we really need with a new launcher or rosies and mods...its like beating a dead horse...two guys can't be expected to do it all[Drew and Deck]

Our biggest promise seems to be porting other phones ICS to our phones a la CM9 and Gummyworms...I would maybe focus on bringing the Evo something special and new if you are going to spend time devving for it.

For one thing brother,1.0 is the most stable right now,thats why we recreate it soo much,everything works.Yea everyone wants something new,but look at the roms you mentioned,like CM7 and Synergy,none of those are fully functional,this video dont work,that 4g is borked,theres only soo much you can do with something thats not made for our devices yet,so everyone always comes back to mr.dependable,thats 1.0.At least Sandix is doing something he likes,maybe he doesnt like ICS or Bliss,or maybe hes just learning and Sense 1.0 is the easiest to learn from,he asked me if he could use the design to work with,so i told him yes,because hes wanting to learn,i like to help people that want to help themselves.

To everyone,
I will be moving downloads to mediafire, I'll zip up the 4kmodkornerz rom and upload there (200mb limit for free users..)
Also, if anyone would like to donate so I may purchase a premium account there (downloads are decent from mediafire) and its pretty cheap or if someone could host them on their own website or something I'd be very thankful.
bimmerman7 I can only speak for myself. I have tried a few ICS roms and while nice none are as fast as GB on my EVO and I have children and do use my camera and video recording quite a bit and it has nothing to do with being narcissistic it has to so with having videos to show the kids grandmothers and being able to talk face to face with a child who is away in school. I would like a fully working ICS but I bought the phone to use and I do. I personally appreciate both types of ROMS and their developers but at the end of the day there are things I need to do and the guys that are pumping out stable fully working ROMS have my gratitude the most.
This will be a continuation of the FirePower Roms. New Roms have been thoroughly checked and completely reworked.Faster,Better,Slimmer and more reliable. Both Roms include faster scrolling speed,faster app response and withdraw. Much faster overall experience. Lots of bloat removed that was left in.

Ive got extended quick setting fully working just need to iron out this low memory/low on space warnings in the quick settings boxes. Stay tuned ill have it out soon.If you know what i need to correct please let me know

nope just when i flash quick settings everything works just inside the auto rotation/wi-fi/mobile network boxes theres (low on space) and (phone storage space is getting low) which is not true. im going to start all over i guess.also i cant rid the0-9 popup box,which i think is related to the text popup apk i put in the rom. This was my first ever port attempt but ill get it working.
You have a pretty awesome base to work with and your doing a great job so far, Keep at it. Im really digin it so far. Agreed. Good work! It's nice to see some of the mods from previous versions working on the new base. The text being wrong in the Quick Settings issue is going to be hex edit in SystemUI.apk, I believe. outerdepth had a similar issue when porting the Express. He might be able to help.
Ive been bangin away on this rom all day and i mean all day non stop. From flashing at 97% till now its been 6 1/2 hours non stop. Different mods,, stock kernel, different other kernels constant reboots, about 35 mms about 20 sms a couple hours web surfing,just playin with it non stop and im still at 47% battery. battery life is off the chart This rom just keeps getting better and better and its not even a day old yet. Im going to hang with the new freedom universal kernel for a day and then check the lionfish 1.8 universal for a day and see which ones the best...

Does that kernel affect your ability to use USB to PC, or affect the orientation of the front-facing camera in Google Video Chat?

USB to PC works fine, but front facing camera is upside down with the god mode, let me ck the universal and ill get back to you. lol, Didnt even ck the front camera till you mentioned it
EDIT: God mode is upsidedown as well
Ive already tried the lionfish 1.8 universal with almost the same performance and battery life (off the grid dude) as freedom and front facing camera is upside right. hope this helps somewhat,,,Later

try the Less- Lionfish-1.8-bright UNIVERSAL, youll get about the same performance and battery and your ffc will be right
Also try Papa Smurfs Smurfed out script, You wont regret it works great with this rom
