[Q] App for email, sms, skype, whatsapp, etc - Android Apps and Games

Hi to all first.
I'm new in the forum.
My question is, if there is any app that shows messages from the abovementioned services under one surface. With a small app-logo so you know what "app" it belongs too.
I've looked in the market and in the forums here but there were only questions about messengers.
Samsung has something like this called "SocialHub" but it doesn't work.
Thanks

[Q] any function for consolidated messaging?

Hi All,
The Blackberry system has a consolidated messaging area where I can view all my Emails, BBM, SMS, all at the same 'page'. Is there a similar function on Androids? It would really save me alot of time compared to opening SMS, opening Whatsapp, opening Pingchat separately. I understand each app has their own interface and functions... oh well, just a thought =)
cheers

[POLL]Blackberry Messenger Style Messaging App

Hello XDAders, Sup!
First, Sorry for my english its not perfect *BEWARE*
Second, the theme of this post its about an App that allows Messaging Between Phones of Different OS(Android, WM, Symbian[OPTIONAL], BlackberryOS, iOS[OPTIONAL], OtherSmartPhoneOS's[OPTIONAL]) with the appearance and functions of the Rim Messaging Platform, Blackberry Messenger.
The options that i found where:
Whatsapp
Pingchat
Cnectd
pMessenger
Which of those will accomplish the task better???
The things that i think the messaging app must have:
*Push Notifications
*Always Be On, meaning even if you close the app u will receive messages from your contacts(like Blackberry Messenger)
*Be able to send text, Voice Notes(not more than 2 minutes), Photos and Any type of files[OPTIONAL]
*An Check mark That indicates if message its sent, delivered and readed(like Blackberry Messenger)[OPTIONAL]
NOTE: If you know any other apps that accomplish those requirements, say it! Will be thank'ed
pingchat is the closest to a blackberry messenger clone. None of them are very good at group chat, but they're all "working on it"
I have tried pingchat and whatsapp and I am voting for pingchat!
I even heard somewhere that whatsapp will be free for a year only, then paid.
i have been using kakaotalk, its similar to whatsapp but this is in korean. English version is coming out some time this week though.
Like the simple and nice ui. Never had problems with it so far.

Kik Messenger could work
It's a new app so not perfect yet, but I think this could be the one you're looking for.
Since I'm not allowed to post outside links on the forum you can search for "kik messenger" to get a description

[Q] How to have app badges, LED light control and Indepth SMS search etc !

He guys,
I have recently shifted to Android on Nexus 5. I am finding most of the experience pretty good by far except for few hiccups.
1. I am used to reminder badges on iOS. It actually works pretty great. Missing that in Android so far. Specially with the Phone, SMS(Chomp SMS), WhatsApp and Gmail. I have figured out a way with goggling but I am still not satisfied. I am using Notifyer but that works with widgets. Meaning I can't use the same with folders on the home screen. Now all the social Apps like FB,Twitter, Instagram etc needs to be on my desktop eating away space. How to manage that.
2. I am so used to the notifications on the home screen like iOS. Is there something which does the same for Android.
3. How to have LED light control for Individual Apps at one place. As of now it feels broken. Some Apps have LED control like whatsapp but you need to go deep in the app. Now a centralised place for the same would have been awesome. I don't know why devs at google missed this.
4. InDepth SMS search. Firstly they broke SMS with stupid hangouts and SMS integrations. Then google being google should have the most awesomest search feature. Instead SMS search is completely a disaster. You have touch time searching for name of the person who smsed forget the searching the content itself. Apple with iOS had mastered that. I get tons of work related SMS from new people everyday and to keep searching for the content without knowing the Phone number is a PITA. Any SMS app which has in-depth SMS search.
I will keep posting further queries if I have any.
Thanks In Advance.

I have a bot on my cellphone

Background info
My phone is Samsung s3
Rom is cyanonegmod( i installed it using the tool on their website)
My skill level a very low
The only apps im running are from google play store
I think i have a bot on my cellphone. Earlier today I was looking for an email that had room reservation information from the silver legacy hotel. I have my exchange email linked to my phone so i used the search function in the email app to search for the word silver. The reservation was in the results list. But there where also bunch of outgoing emails that i never sent. The emails looked like spam, i opened one but didn't click on the link. The email had been sent to me from me according to the email, but these emails don't show up in my inbox or sent mail folder. These emails don't show up on any of my computers that have the my exchange email account synced to them. I think there is some sort bot running on my phone. I tried searching using google and the xda forum search function but i couldnt find anything to help me. Is there anyway to remove the bot with out resetting my phone? I've never heard of this happening, but i figured it would only be a matter time before someone figured out how to get bots on cellphones.
Hi there, XDA Assist is mainly for navigational guidance within XDA. Your question is more general and would be appropriate in the General Q&A section. I have asked a moderator to move it for you. Good luck!
I would say they are in your spam folder, a lot of spam email spoofs the sender as the receiver email to get the person to open it. Check your spam folder and I bet they are in there.
I checked the spam folder, the emails weren't there.

Hangouts, Allo, Messenger apps confusion? What's the difference, and can we unify?

I posted this in the reddit android section and they removed it because it "didn't benefit the community". That's bs because its a real problem that I know there's general confusion over. I rephrased and reposted on reddit, but in case they don't want to be helpful I decided to post the same question here.
This question is to help the whole android community. I've heard this question from others, so I decided to ask it for anyone whom may need it answered.
I tried to message someone with Google's new app Allo, but people don't seem to be getting my messages. Do both sides need Allo, or does it work as a alternative to the regular sms app.
Also when I use the regular sms Messenger app, people respond and it comes through the Hangouts app. I tried to change the sms settings within the Hangouts app but it doesn't seem to be helping.
When I use Google Now, I don't know what app it uses or if there is a way to choose which app Google Now will use.
There's general confusion on this and it would be awesome if someone who's versed in this can spell it out for us. How can we unify our apps? Can we use Allo as our default sms messenger app?
Don't remove this post. I posted a legitimate question that will benefit anyone who's not sure exactly what the differences are between Allo, Hangouts, and Messenger.
