Hi, anyone know if there is a music app that you can set your playlist for a specific time (30 mins) and while it starts paying at the regular set volume, it gradually fades it out completely within that 30 minutes until turning off after the pre-set time (30 mins later)? Would be a nice way to go to sleep and such Thanks
I don't know of a music app but I know the sleep tracking app Sleep as Android (great app btw!) has a feature where you can set a time such as 30 minutes and at that time the app will decrease and mute the media volume .
Or use tasker to do something like when music player is playing for x minutes set volume to y and then so on and so fourth.
Thanks...I cant seem to find that feature in the sleep as android app...maybe it comes in the paid version....tasker is pretty complicated for me as I never used it before....wish someone would make a simple user friendly sleep app that does this

On gingerbread there was an option to turn off the screen timeout in display settings but in ics they removed that option. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable the screen timeout? My phone spends all day in the car dock and I like to see what is going on with it without turn it back on every 10 minutes.

Have you tried settings? or are you using an app that does this. Could you specify some further details? It may be that your application is default set to do this. And if its not an app, then get an app that stops this from happening. could find one for you, but need more detail to attempt anything
You should download should download an app from the market this cool app from google market.
It is called, the name of the app is ES Task Manager. I think its called ES Task Manager
You should also use. There is another app you can look into Auto Killer, this app is called auto killer
You can download CPU spy to check if the phone is going into deep sleep mode after you kill all the apps and one by one work out the culprit.
Haha! What has happened to my post??
I cut and paste from another forum I didn't get an answer from, read it back ok and it seems to have gone a little weird!
Sorry about that!
I've checked all settings in the phone, I cannot seem to turn it off. The only setting I can see that relates to it is the stay awake function in display.
Ill check out those apps thank you.

Oh the phones done it ever since I have had it, without even putting apps on it, so has to be something on the os which is standard.

Clear the caches and battery stats.
Your phone shouldn't be displaying the (lit up) charge screen for more then 5-10 seconds max providing your not pushing any buttons....
