Hello guys, i have a P500h cellphone, with the v10a S.O and yesterday i installed the Custom Recovery and then create the NAND backup for installing the Prime V2 ROM.
The ROM work very very fine, but i have a question about a app that dont come with this release: NDrive.
In my country (chile), the P500 are sold with this great app, but in the Prime V2 isnt installed. Can i port the NDrive app to my new one installed ROM?.
With Custom Recovery i can switch between both roms, and i though that i can "copy" the app and then "paste" in the other rom (using the SD card).
My last question is related to the apps2sd present in Prime V2. I know that all the apk installed reside in the ext3 partition for leaving the internal memory free as possible...but, can i install Prime V2 without partitioning the SD?. This is because if someone remove the SD card, my phone dont start anymore (if someone steals my phone my Theft Aware dont work anymore .

Thanks to all. Problem is solved, the app must be backed up before the wipe (saving the system/app and the /sdcard/ndrive).

i was using ndrive when the phone was unrooted. then im using igo navigation its much more better than ndrive.

Did you do a nandroid backup of your Stock ROM before installing CM7?
after installing cyanogenmod roms we can only upgrade our phone to cm roms or we can upgrade to any official firmwares?

get a good sd card and backup custom rom first before you attempt changing the rom.

I am using n8000 from a year now and for me it is the first android device that last with me a complete year with a stock rom ...
I can see the stock rom very satisfying but i only had 2 problems :
1- it is not customizable ( as I need)
2- 4.1.2 jb !!! I cant move my apps to sd ( I had low memory issue now)
So I decided to try a custom rom and all what I need is to find a rom that satisfy my daily usage:
1-I am using my tablet as a phone so I need a rom with a working headset Mic
2-not using S note app alot (occasionally)
As long as as I search here In xda I can't find what I seek so if anyone could suggest a rom for me, I would be grateful.

If your happy with your current ROM why don't you just root it and install folder mount [root] from the play store and transfer your files to your ext storage.

As it is rairly updated (4.1.2), not customizable (year of usage and it is the same UI and the same everything) and if am going to root it anyway so why dont try a custom rom ?
I am happily rooted using folder mount. I also use nova launcher on my son's n8013.

I too am happy with 4.1.2 (I would be happier with a certified 4.3 or 4.4).
You say "just root it." For us dummies, how do I "just root it?"
If I do that and then Samsung updates the firmware, will I get it ok or must I "unroot."
How does one "unroot?"

It looks like you are new here so it may be best for you to start out rooting your Note 10.1 and then maybe install a different launcher.
For your own good read, understand and follow any and all directions EXACTLY when rooting and or installing a custom firmware.

Also, keep in mind, if those apps are dependant on touchwiz and your ROM is not touchwiz....they will probably not work. Just keep that in mind.

Does it come with the LG Backup app? Does the stock LG launcher work?
LG backup is included, as is stock launcher but launcher won't open due I believe to non-standard DPI
lg launcher also works..and dpi seems to be stock..
Yes you are correct, Home launcher does work and DPI is set to 480

Hi. Flashed this rom yesterday and working perfect. It is as snappy as V10f on ART. The only problem is the native email client won't charge any emails... I can configure all the accounts but the emails won't load.
Aside of this, everything is working flawlessly

How do you flashed drake? I am stack on future v3 5.0.1 and can't flash kzd. There is no recovery , no restore, lg tools does not work. Stock rom in form tot and dll is vanish. Please help. I am i troble.

D838 Freezing sometimes
After installing Drake v1 my phone was working fine until yesterday when it froze thrice. And what freaked me out was when i woke up in the morning it was switched off and wouldn't turn on even when i plugged in a charger. But after sometime when i plugged it to my laptop it turned on. Any ideas why this happened? Keeping in mind i did everything as mentioned.
How to get back to D838 stock ROM from Drake Android 5.0.1 V1
I flash my G pro 2 (16G) to Drake Android 5.0.1 V1. It works OK, due to some reasons, I would like to get back to stock ROM. But, no matter how hard I tried to use KDZ way to flash back to stock ROM, it always says "No upgrad items to fix."
Can anyone assist me to flash back to stock ROM again?

Good work done and i can guess that this rom was taken from future v3.0 but its good u edit for good but its only for d838 but can b installed on f350 variant.. but come to actual point that i m having same issue as i had with future v3.0 that i can't send ams to anybody.. do u have any solution to that?? After installing this u will get cross error on flash tool while going back to stock but i managed to come back to stock and at the moment i m at stock f350k as sms problrm is prevailing in ur rom for me..

Hi, I'm far from an experienced modder. I only root for hotspot tether, to eliminate Sprint bloat, and for certain apps that need it (like call recorder). I currently have the RODT ND2 4.4.2 ROM and want to find the least complicated way to get to a STABLE, rooted, official-ish version of Lollipop. I'm not looking of an adventure or to do this regularly.
Can anyone please advise:
Which ROM would be least complicated to install? Will it support OTA updates or no?
What's the best way to keep (or transfer) all my app data without corrupting things or having to reset every app?
Any known issues I should watch out for in the upgrade process?

Check metalfan's rom in this section. It's close to stock and he got rid of annoying pop-up notices

1. You need to flash the full tar 5.0 with Odin
2. Titanium Backup
3. You can't run any 5.0 roms until you have updated everything with the tar (bootloader specifically)

Side note, only the full tar, unrooted, will get OTAs. Custom roms will not.

I didn't have a problem restoring apps. Tdunham has a basically stock rom but I don't think he is doing much with it now, MOAR is stable and ever evolving, my rom is pretty stable as well as it is based off of tdunhams rom with a few features from MOAR.
