SIP Causing Manilla To Freeze

I'm using NATF's V5 ATT Manilla loaded rom and when I install a custom SIP, it freezes Manilla.
I uninstalled and did a soft reset but Manilla still freezes. I had to disable it from the Today menu. This happened to me a few days ago and I had to do a hard reset. I would like to prevent this if possible.
Does anyone know a fix for this issue? I would really like to use the VITO ZoomBoard.

does it freeze only with VITO's zoomboard?

No, it also froze with Resco Keyboard Pro.

i suggest your PM herg concerning this manilla thing. might be a known issue.

Sure.
I installed Resco Keyboard Pro and then every time I scroll to the Email tab on manilla, it freezes. The rest of the phone works ok but Manilla doesn't move.
This happened with Resco and VITO Zoomboard.

Well, I finally figured out what was freezing my email tab.
Friggin' Windows Live. And I was using the newest version too. I only used it to sync my hotmail account but I can always just add it manually.
It took me 3 hard resets but I finally figured it out. Now I can use my Resco and Zoomboard.
Phwew.

I found this in this Touch HD thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505904. The author says that it should work on older devices that don't have the new notificaiton menu available, but for devices that have it already (D2 Touch Pro2) it doesn't work.
I'd love to have this as now I always go to the power settings to check on my battery (I don't like the other percentage battery options here on xda - I like the original look of the battery icon...)
It should have been included on Topaz from the start, but HTC omitted it (see here: http://www.ppcsg.com/index.php?showtopic=105810&st=460&p=797983&#entry797983).

you can find this in the cooked roms, Blasev Tessv1.1 has it...

I have this too, and I have a rom from udK, you can find it in my signature..
I think it's really usefull and i love it.

lol, means i gotta update my rom just to get this? is there a way .cab file for it instead? i never upgrade my rom before, just bought it last month

Exaxctly... I don't want to flash a new ROM to have this, I hoped that someone would be able to create a cab to enable this...

Fuze randomly reinstalling Windows Mobile?

Alright, after updating to RRE V8 RC1, I've been having instability with my Windows Mobile OS. The phone would randomly crash for no apparent reason. When I would restart the phone, I would get the Windows Mobile Install prompt. I resorted to reverting back to RRE V2.1 which was the ROMs previous version I was operating on before performing the update. Sometimes after turning the phone off, I would get an error message complaining about my settings being corrupt. I have flashed to various versions of RRE and other Windows Mobile ROMs. Please, can anyone help? I don't believe the ROM is at fault. It sounds more like an issue with my internal storage. Any way I could possibly remedy the situation? The phone is only 2 months old .

I can't seem to access my phone to fetch my PIM Backup data either. >_<

You need to flash the stock 6.1 ROM first, then flash the WM6.5 ROM you want (RRE v8 or any other one).
I've had this problem with a CDMA Diamond and my Fuze. It doesn't happen every time, but when it does, the only way to fix it is by installing the stock ROM first.

Annoying Popup

First i thought it had something to do with WM6.5, but apparently not. Getting "use setup menu and change the setting to match your city" which is extremely annoying especially when running full screen applications (seems like a weather program but don't have any installed). The list of software and games i have installed is long so if anybody knows which program is doing this (both Tilt and Fuze), i'd appreciate it.

Have you checked Windows Startup to see if a .mscr there or anything like? if not check your notification list too.

Using Manila 2.1.
@stylez, nothing in the start-up folder that would cause it from what i see (pocketnotify, voicecommand, and htc startup).

So i'd go with that you have an old notification thats launched on boot leftover from a weather app, SKTools the free one should do for looking.

All else fails a hard-reset will get rid "had too how many times do we say that? lol"

I suspect it's a weather app as well, but i don't have any installed. Btw, hard reset won't do it because i've already done many and one of the programs i'm using is causing this.

[REQUEST] Manilla sense volume control and more

I recently tried ffboy's sense ROM found here and i really liked the sense volume control. Also, when you clicked an icon in the taskbar it would take you to the sense page which was really nice so if possible id like to know if i can replicate this while i use other ROM's. I've added an image of the sense volume below, its not the exact one but its the closest image i've been able to find.

yes we've been looking for this for sometime already! There has been a post about it but unfortunely you can only find it cooked into a rom...

Sorry i havent exactly been active in this thread, i forgot all about it to be honest . Im actually learning how to cook sense into my own rom so i can get this volume control thing working but sense seems impossible, i havent managed to build a sucessful sense rom yet :-(.

The cab only installs a new skin for an existing volume application. You can see it in the attachment.
To get this working you would need to get the htc volume control program working, then apply the new skin.
