Database Info

Where to find simple themes?

I have searched for themes (although admittedly not all that hard as I am searching on my Vox on EDGE) and all of the custom ones I can find are very visually busy and/or hard to read.
I just want onto that is nice and simple with no unnecessary words, logos, or anything else.
But I want it to display:
MRU
profile
next 2 appts (I'll settle for one)
SMS/MMS/email
time, date
Anyone know where to find some?

Well since I couldn't find any I just made* my own. (*made meaning compiled and tweaked, not created)

I think this is all you need.... I think.
I used Facade, Endless (attached), HTC Home (attached), and a pic I took using with the Vox's cam (attached)
Colour Scheme: Endless: Blue
Wallpaper: IMAGE_004
I have attached the xml file, that I Think will give you the layout. Since I can't attach xml files I added .txt to the end of the file name. So simply delete ".txt" from the file name after you download it and it should work.

Actually I think you will need this one too.

Task bar mods??

Hi, Ive only had my HD2 for a few days now and I am loving it! Had a TG01 and this is far better.
I was just wondering if there are any mods for the icons on the top task bar, I had a Diamond and was able to use a .cab from the Diamond section to change the icons to something better looking than the stock icons. Is there anything available yet or is it a case of waiting for the devs to sort something out??

I used the no-start one in that thread and it worked fine on my HD2, as shown below. Despite being for the HD.

I was only talking about the top part, the rest of the look is separate. I just couldn't be bothered cutting the taskbar out.
Install the cab and the rest of your screen won't be touched.

lol, just realised after I put the post up! I installed both cabs and its all good!!
just one more question, how do I get the bars to look textured?

You need to install MaxTTM. Run it, go to the WM6.5 tab, in Component select 'Taskbar', in Change Method select 'Special Pattern' and in Special Pattern Bar Selection select 'millski_blackgloss_bar.png'. Leave Alpha as 255. Tick 'Soft Reset After Convert' and press the Convert button. It should then reset and come up with the texture you see above on the taskbar.

[REQUEST] Manilla sense volume control and more

I recently tried ffboy's sense ROM found here and i really liked the sense volume control. Also, when you clicked an icon in the taskbar it would take you to the sense page which was really nice so if possible id like to know if i can replicate this while i use other ROM's. I've added an image of the sense volume below, its not the exact one but its the closest image i've been able to find.

yes we've been looking for this for sometime already! There has been a post about it but unfortunely you can only find it cooked into a rom...

Sorry i havent exactly been active in this thread, i forgot all about it to be honest . Im actually learning how to cook sense into my own rom so i can get this volume control thing working but sense seems impossible, i havent managed to build a sucessful sense rom yet :-(.

The cab only installs a new skin for an existing volume application. You can see it in the attachment.
To get this working you would need to get the htc volume control program working, then apply the new skin.

DarkVisions for Wizard?

I recently swapped my TyTN for Wizard and I used DarkVisions 5.0 rom on it, it was simple, worked well, its was just great. Now, I couldn't find a same one for Wizard, but I also couldn't find a similar one. I don't want that 6.5 scrolling menu, all I want is a simple menu like this, so can someone recommend at least a similar rom to this? Here's a screenshot. Thanks in advance!

Ok, but this is just "nk.nbf" file, I need those update tools, right?
I tried to swap this file with the same one for "CR96 Touch HD v2.9 Clean" and it installed the same ROM again.

Ok, I got that RUU MUN update thingy and copied this file you gave me with the update tool in the same folder, ran the update, everything went smoothly, done the update 100%, device restarted and it was the same damned ROM there! What the hell is going on?

Anyone has any idea what is going on? I'm fairly new to all this, all the help would be greatly appreciated.

btw. DarkVisions is before developed for Wizard. Ask utak3r about it.

So I dicade to make small app which can do it for you.
What Its does ??
It will replace the starting Opera screen for anythink you like.
Can I do it another way ??
Yes you can replace the pictures in /Windows and /Windows/Opera9 if you do not want to have another cab instaled but to be honest iam lazy to cliking around thats why i made this app
How to instal it ??
Right I uploaded 3 Files with 3 stylies which you could see ^^^. The first is Default Opera screen and also is good if you will not like my "work" and want to put it back. The another 2 are just examples and you can replace them for anythink you like.....
How can I add my own pictures ??
You gonna need WinCE CAB Manager or something like that and search forum for how to make/change cab file.
One more thing
This app was tested on Opera 9 if you run Opera 10 or higher let me know and I will change the directions for you.
At the end:
Guys plz this is not a ROM or anything complicate like that. I am only lerning how to work with WinCE CAB Manager so plz do not expect anything big
