For those of you living in Latin America, here you are the Radio Baseband for Movistar. Just install the SBF or Nandroid of your choice and then install the baseband from OR and voila!

Thanks for the basebands. I have the unlocked milestone and I travel often to Central America. this will come in handy for my next trip. Movistar always gets my business as CLARO and TIGO dont cut it for me.
Is there any difference with the one in androidiani?

I've scoured the forums looking for any indication of which frequencies the baseband in v21d comes with and came up empty. Specifically I want to know if it has the 1700 2100 aws bands for T-Mobile USA. I know v21a does, can anyone tell me if v21d does as well?

Nearly 160 views and not a single response. Sad.
Well, I flashed the German (I think) version of v21d and I still have 1700 and 2100 AWS bands. So there you are, if anyone wondered.

The ROM is now V21d German and respects the frequency band they use in Germany. I think they use the same as USA.
To keep the original baseband you need to install by ZIP and not by KDZ

My understanding is that there is also a v21d for Spain out there as well, but it may be the same baseband, I haven't looked into it... I need to learn more about EU carriers so this isn't an issue for me again in the future.
The basebands of both the Spain and Germany v21D are the same because both came from LG HQ in Korea. The full baseband version of v21D as reported by CyanogenMod 7.2 is:

Hi there,
the Samsung Galaxy S 3 bought with the LTE version and have it sent from America to Germany.
I have the phone rooted first with the the latest version of Cyanogenmod 10.1, because the Verizon version had not installed any German language.
The following problem
Now running a normal German O2 simcard . I get no network with GSM/3G.
Can it be that the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE versions not support German Android versions?
What can I do with it can be adjusted in the settings of the German language and the sim card works?
Actually, I thought. S2 as well as multiple languages selection are but unfortunately the S3 and the Verizon version only American English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean language selection
Thank you
Try a custom touchwhiz rom? it may have German on that? are you on the latest build? cause i think the older versions dont have GSM mode on them
The Man in my Provider-Shop said, the Samsung Galaxy S3 I535 Verizon supported only LTE/CDMA or CDMA Network.
But in Germany is the GSM Network. So, my phone does not connect in the Network.
Help Please... Its a to expensive Mp3 Player

So I've just got my new Galaxy SII plus today and I'm sorta a total newb when it comes to the world of flashing . I'm wondering if it's possible to flash a stock firmware from another country in this case possibly a Hong Kong (I9105PZSAMH1) firmware, over a stock firmware from a different country/region of the phones origin (in this case some European countries (Italy, France, Belgium, United Kingdom etc. with the firmware number I9105PXXAMC2).
If I were to do this, would there be any side affects (like bricking) or would the phone work fine and exactly the same as it should be?
Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks in advance

Yes bro I had been doing this practice for years. And no side effects at all. Go ahead and flash other country's frimware. Only csc differs.

I just want to confirm, if I were to flash another stock from a different region, would I be flashing the radio (the baseband version) from that region as well?
Because I'm in Australia, and because I'm flashing a HK stock firmware over the European firmware.
and I'm unsure if the HK baseband version will work just as well as the current baseband version that I'm using. (Which is working very well)
Because apparently the radio towers in HK are closer together there, where as here they are further apart.

Have the phone from Amazon. Need to use in Europe. What do I have to do ? Thank you ....
I bought this for my brother but i Don't think the US version has European LTE bands. As he is like 8 years old he won't care and H+ will be okay.

After I lost lte in US, I had to restore fsg, modem, modemst1, modemst2 to get lte back up and running on my phone... My guess is if you can locate those backup partitions from a Y variant, you could make it work...

Well depends
If your carrier offers specifics features like VoLte or wifi calling and the CSC you use do not...then you will not have them
Also you will have the installed CSC OTA´s not your country carrier OTA
Other than that the phone will work just fine
