There are many people who have perfect screens and no yellow band.
Those of you who don't have this problem could you upload pictures to this thread so we can see the differences?
There is a thread for those with yellow issues, but there isn't one where there are pictures of perfect screens.
Thanks!
Let's see how many people out there have perfect screens.
Is it perfect or screenshots from the Opo don't really help?

Screenshots won't capture the yellow screen on the bottom because it's from the internal memory, so it doesn't capture the screen defect from the outside. If you have a camera or another phone take a pic with that.

You're only supposed to upload an image if you don't have the yellow band, it looks like you do have it on your phone.

How is it hard to not post a picture? If you have the yellow banding you don't post an image, that's simple.

Read again what he said....nobody has a perfect white screen on his OnePlus, so you won't be seeing a lot of pictures here...
Well the new ota releasing today states something about new cold screen calibration.

He's talking about the yellow band at the bottom of the screen, now the yellowish hue that the entire screen has (due to software setttings).

Sorry, I didn't realise you've personally seen every OnePlus One ever sold, my mistake.

A day later and not one single picture of a perfect OnePlus screen...
Where are all those people that have claimed to have a perfect screen now?
They say they're phone screen is perfect but never upload a single picture

They probably don't have a perfect one it is probably a lot less noticeable. Or they don't want to admit or deal with CS to get a refund. People who do that allow ****ty companies to stay in business.

What do you guys think?

Here's some shots of my phone. I can maybe notice it if I look at it at a certain angle and stare at it for a while on a white screen, but its 99% unnoticeable to me. I only see it because I'm nitpicking. When my LCD monitor is displaying a completely black screen, I notice the edges are a little brighter due to backlight bleeding so I'm thinking it might be the same thing.

This looks kind of acceptable to me. Looks pretty white. Does it have the new ota with cold calibration?

Didn't update with the newest OTA yet. I took this picture late July, about a day after I got the phone.

Well if that was stock then the ota should make the screen colder and you won't see it at all. That is if it looked that good originally.
Mine is pretty knarly and I don't think the ota will help so I'm hoping for a refund whenever they respond to my ticket.

When I looked at the photos and saw a bit of yellow, I was surprised since I didn't notice it with my own eyes. That's why I took pictures of the top to compare. The camera makes it look worse than it is because my eyes can barely see the difference unless I stare at it closeup for long time. If I hold the phone 2 or 3 feet away I can see the bottom edge is a tad warmer. 99% of the time I don't have pure white backgrounds so it doesn't bug me at all.
I dont have the yellow issue. This is white background on 100% brightness.
I went to a store and compare s6 vs s6 edge colours and white where yellow at s6 and s6 edje blue white more accurate ... ? ?
Nope whites are shocking. Ive had 2. First was horrible and yellow. Current one has a horrible pink tint. Both s6 black. Im going to try again or get an m9. Its hideous
Have either of you tried to change the color temp in the display settings?
yes

"should" Just being able to use the internet does not make one smart.
True. But surely its common sense to check the settings
i have a really really weird watermark thats behind everything on the screen.
the watermark image is very faint but its visible in while and light screens.
the image is the Logo of Huawei.
Has anyone seen this?
how can i turn this off?

I see it. Very strange. Don't have it. Have you tried to change the theme or do an factory reset?
That looks like a display model left with bootup screen on for several hours or perhaps a wallpaper which had the display on for several hours.
Looks like a replacement will be required.

I was just going to say something similar - looks like a burn-in. I thought modern LCDs didn't do that anymore ...
You should try to get it replaced, if it's under warranty.
And guess what its also appearing in cwm
I'll be lucky if i can get it replaced .... Oh well.

Go to the store and show them your phone. If it is under warranty you should get a new one!

actually its not a display model.
this is very funny as there are hundreds of these units sold in iraq and a whole bunch come with the imprint.
i had no choice today but to repurchase (after i sold the last one) because this device simply has awesome hardware for the price.
there has to be a reason/thing causing this image.
its definitely not in the OS as it appears in CWM also.
any ideas?
it s cheap really or i miss something?
is it worth buying?http://www.ebay.com/itm/181837796129?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

any other suggesstions?
I mean that you can feel difference in colours between displays. I think red will be more darker than original.

Iv got uniformity problems on my 7pro, but it's not a big deal
Upd. It's underscreen sensors, which are visible under some light conditions

So thats what that circle is ? I only see it in at night with the lights off, light brightness and night mode. Greys like on XDA there's a little circle

I was surprised to see it at first and was tempted to exchange. But it doesn't bother me tbh. Has to be in very particular conditions and most the time I don't notice.
But I'm glad it's not a screen issue ?
