[Q] is there a Xperia X1 keyboard for X10 android? - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

i've been using the xperia x1 phone for a year now and i loved it and it has THE BEST keyboard EVER, PERIOD!
i just bought the xperia x10 and i was wondering if there is an on screen keyboard for the x10 android that has the very same layout as the x1 keybaord with the fn keys also.
if there is or if someone is making it i will be glad to know about it.
THANKS in advance! [=

I'd like to know too, but for the 1.6 keyboard.
honestly it was amazing, had the smilies button and the ,. and ?! were all accessible without having to go into a different menu.
im surprised nobody has uploaded the keyboard for 2.1 users.

yes but what i mean is if there is any onscreen keyboard for the x10 android that resembles the hardware keyboard of the x1 which was PERFECT in every way heh

I switched my standard keyboard when i first got my android device to HTC_IME.
But for the past months I've been using Swype which IMO is the best keyboard out there.

HTC_IME
Swype Beta (If they are still open to beta testers)

[Q] Has anyone got, or extracted from Omnia II, the Swype KB

I saw the Swype Keyboard Here and I see it's so far only available on the Omnia II, which runs WinMo 6.1. Has anyone sucessfully extracted it from there or know where/when it'll be available? My googling hasn't got me anywhere :/
Would be pretty neat to have on our massive Leo screens

They have a similar and very good keyboard

Agree with you. It's a very good keyboard. The only disadvantage is that it does not (yet) support landscape in WinMo6.5. Dasur wrote to me that they know this 6.5 problem and are working on it. Swype seems to be almost identical to SlideIT.

Symbols page is too small. Other than that, it's not too bad. And, yes, they COULD take advantage of larger buttons in the landscape page.

sony ericsson timescape & mediascape style in HD2

i love the effects and style of sony ericsson timescape & mediascape.
can we have it somehow in HD2?
I believe your refering towards the Android UI for SE X10. May be if someone can create a similar interface which replaces Sense UI.
Besides I would like to see someone port this SE X2 3D Panels.

SonyEricsson is releasing the X10 with Android 1.6 because they're having troubles converting the shell to Android 2.0.
So I think it's kinda impossible to get timescape running on Windows Mobile.
Man... I think Sony should definitely make a Timescape-like panel and a Mediascape like panel for X2 .. Think it would actually make the x2 worth the $ .. Otherwise will continue to make the xperia devices shine and set apart from other devices in a positive way.

New HTC HD2 user.

I recently upgraded my phone to HTC HD2. My phone before was Samsung Omnia i900. My problem is I'm not liking the keyboards (only 3 keyboards) on the HD2, I keep making many mistakes. On the Omnia I think there were 5 or 6 different keyboards. The keyboard I used the most on the Omnia was, Samsung Phonepad, I found it very easy to use. My question: Is it possible to have this keyboard on the HTC or something similar?
Or if anyone can recommend another keyboard I would be very grateful.
Thx

There is a phonekeypad available, why not use that? alternativly, look for finger keyboard, Resco keyboard, or even spb keybard. they are good ones.

multi touch keyboard

Hey saw this on engadget, and was wondering............ since the screen size is the same, when released will it be as simple as transfer apk to evo for multi touch keyboard.
here is the link to the "review" of the droid x with multi touch keyboard and swype keyboard built in
http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/15/exclusive-motorola-droid-x-preview/
I was just about to ask the same thing. I hope we can, looks like something id like to try!
I was wondering the same thing.
On that note, "Smart Keyboard Pro" on Android Market(not free) also has multi touch enabled keyboard
Its Swype, the guys will probably have it as soon as they get the Apk on their hands.

[REQ] HTC IME Mod Keyboard for JellyBean.

Hey, is there any chance someone can put up a copy of the original (or similar) HTC IME keyboard forJellybean on the DInc? I had one on ICS, but it no longer functioning since my update to JB.
If so, I'd really appreciate it because I really enjoyed how well T9 typing went on it.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone who helps and all the developers that do such wonderful work for our phone. We wouldn't have anything without you.
Sincerely,
Your Friendly-Everyday-Incredible-User

YES YES YES WE WANT IT, at least I want it, VERY BADLY. I'm not updating to jellybean because of the lacking support to Htc Ime Mod keyboard.
Please help us.

Im allso really waiting for this to come?
Any news ?
you guys may want to try this. it's similar to the htc ui for the keyboard, and it'll run on jelly bean. https://play.google.com/store/apps/...lucHV0bWV0aG9kLmxhdGluLnNlbnNlbW9kLm11bHRpIl0.
Though it isn't really an htc_ime clone, you might also consider the beta release of SwitKey Flow that was announced today.
It behaves somewhat similarly, has themes that look similar, and you might even like it!
same problem here. HTC IME Mod Keyboard chrashes with android 4.1.1
is there an update next time?
