[Q] Has anyone got, or extracted from Omnia II, the Swype KB - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I saw the Swype Keyboard Here and I see it's so far only available on the Omnia II, which runs WinMo 6.1. Has anyone sucessfully extracted it from there or know where/when it'll be available? My googling hasn't got me anywhere :/
Would be pretty neat to have on our massive Leo screens

Agree with you. It's a very good keyboard. The only disadvantage is that it does not (yet) support landscape in WinMo6.5. Dasur wrote to me that they know this 6.5 problem and are working on it. Swype seems to be almost identical to SlideIT.

Symbols page is too small. Other than that, it's not too bad. And, yes, they COULD take advantage of larger buttons in the landscape page.

Apparently the memory size stated on this website is not correct (should be twice as much). Can anyone confirm?

It's good to see that the TouchFlo feature is strengthened with more applications.
I'm shocked that no one mentioned this, but isn't the numeric keyboard unnecesary on this device? It adds size to the device and zero functionality because the on-screen numeric keyboard it's about the same size and as usable. If it was a QWERTY keyboard, that would make some sense.
I'd like to see an HTC Touch with 128 MB RAM and 3G (and maybe a bigger battery to compensate), I believe one like this is coming.

Touch Keyboard/Keypad in kaiser/Vario 3

Hi,
Considering buying either a stock Kaiser or possibly UK T-Mobile Vario 3 but want to know if it's possible to get the software keyboard/keypad (standard on the Touch Dual) on the Kaiser/Vario 3.
Had a look at Dutty's TouchFlo ROM thread but can't see anything there, or is it available as a download from HTC?
The soft keyboard/pad is a must-have for me, for when the slider QWERTY keyboard is too fiddly to use.
Thanks (and sorry if I have not searched properly for this!),

WM6.1 Pro on Smartphone

It would be great if we could have something like this what I found in the StarTrek Forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=378709
Roland
the difference between pro and standard lies mainly in touchscreen support. So we will never be able to satisfy it even if most of Pro stuffs do work on Standard devices such as Vox.

True, but with Fake Cursor it would be possible to get touch screen support on the Vox by using thhe D pad, and you don't need a dial pad as the keypad does that. if the StarTrek Forum can get it to work properly then it should in theory be possible to get it working on the Vox.
Roland
yeah, if fakecursor would get better like fastermovement and it would be smoother it would be great, i mean fake cursor moves a bit stiff and i would like to see it move more smoothly
SPHelper is a lot better than FakeCursor, FYI.

FYI, SPHelper "is a lot better" in Standart OS only, not in Professional. And its shareware.

If you are so stupid for googling it than please shut up. I getting really mad when people says the words which they are dont know.
The main difference between Standart and Professional is that Professional supports Pocket PC applications, which is the most valuablest for smarphone devices.

New HTC HD2 user.

I recently upgraded my phone to HTC HD2. My phone before was Samsung Omnia i900. My problem is I'm not liking the keyboards (only 3 keyboards) on the HD2, I keep making many mistakes. On the Omnia I think there were 5 or 6 different keyboards. The keyboard I used the most on the Omnia was, Samsung Phonepad, I found it very easy to use. My question: Is it possible to have this keyboard on the HTC or something similar?
Or if anyone can recommend another keyboard I would be very grateful.
Thx

multi touch keyboard

Hey saw this on engadget, and was wondering............ since the screen size is the same, when released will it be as simple as transfer apk to evo for multi touch keyboard.
here is the link to the "review" of the droid x with multi touch keyboard and swype keyboard built in
http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/15/exclusive-motorola-droid-x-preview/
I was just about to ask the same thing. I hope we can, looks like something id like to try!
I was wondering the same thing.
On that note, "Smart Keyboard Pro" on Android Market(not free) also has multi touch enabled keyboard
Its Swype, the guys will probably have it as soon as they get the Apk on their hands.
