[REQ] HTC IME Mod Keyboard for JellyBean. - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

Hey, is there any chance someone can put up a copy of the original (or similar) HTC IME keyboard forJellybean on the DInc? I had one on ICS, but it no longer functioning since my update to JB.
If so, I'd really appreciate it because I really enjoyed how well T9 typing went on it.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone who helps and all the developers that do such wonderful work for our phone. We wouldn't have anything without you.
Sincerely,
Your Friendly-Everyday-Incredible-User

Im allso really waiting for this to come?
Any news ?

you guys may want to try this. it's similar to the htc ui for the keyboard, and it'll run on jelly bean. https://play.google.com/store/apps/...lucHV0bWV0aG9kLmxhdGluLnNlbnNlbW9kLm11bHRpIl0.

Though it isn't really an htc_ime clone, you might also consider the beta release of SwitKey Flow that was announced today.
It behaves somewhat similarly, has themes that look similar, and you might even like it!

same problem here. HTC IME Mod Keyboard chrashes with android 4.1.1
is there an update next time?

plus one.

New HTC HD2 user.

I recently upgraded my phone to HTC HD2. My phone before was Samsung Omnia i900. My problem is I'm not liking the keyboards (only 3 keyboards) on the HD2, I keep making many mistakes. On the Omnia I think there were 5 or 6 different keyboards. The keyboard I used the most on the Omnia was, Samsung Phonepad, I found it very easy to use. My question: Is it possible to have this keyboard on the HTC or something similar?
Or if anyone can recommend another keyboard I would be very grateful.
Thx

Any suggestions for a TP2 followup?

Hi forum!
Its the time of the season where guarantee time is up and a new device wants to be bought
I know I may have impossible wishes - but what new devices are around when someone doesnt want to miss a slideout keyboard (ideally with 5 rows)?
HD2 looks great but big, has no keyboard and no stick... so it seems only useable with "fingerfriendly" software...
Sony has great cameras (HTC... why dont u do sth about that bummer...)
Is there a TP2 like device on its way? Any news? Or is everybody running to Android 2.1 now?
Any hints are highly appreciated...

i've been using the xperia x1 phone for a year now and i loved it and it has THE BEST keyboard EVER, PERIOD!
i just bought the xperia x10 and i was wondering if there is an on screen keyboard for the x10 android that has the very same layout as the x1 keybaord with the fn keys also.
if there is or if someone is making it i will be glad to know about it.
THANKS in advance! [=
I'd like to know too, but for the 1.6 keyboard.
honestly it was amazing, had the smilies button and the ,. and ?! were all accessible without having to go into a different menu.
im surprised nobody has uploaded the keyboard for 2.1 users.

yes but what i mean is if there is any onscreen keyboard for the x10 android that resembles the hardware keyboard of the x1 which was PERFECT in every way heh
I switched my standard keyboard when i first got my android device to HTC_IME.
But for the past months I've been using Swype which IMO is the best keyboard out there.

Swype Beta (If they are still open to beta testers)

[Q] Remove HTC sense and put ICS orignal

Hello Comrades,
I'll cut to the chase, I do not like the interface HTC SENSE, I think the theme and the menu interface and much more beautiful and practical.
So how do I eliminate the root HTC SENSE and colcocar original Android 4.0 without the formation green that brings HTC default.
Have you researched a lot about this, and knew that I must install a modified ROM to eliminate the sense of time and place the android 4.0 source.
But the ROM which I use for my desire S?
I appreciate all the help, and sorry if I'm making spam!, But I'm new and have read the rules as such.
Thank you.

There's no way you can remove sense without rooting.. it's too deeply integrated with the OS.. The only practical way is to root and install custom ROM.. I recommend the balele ROM or IceColdSandwich if you want stock ICS.. and Codename if you want 4.1..
Or, if you're only bothered by the look of the UI (the home screens and app drawer) then just install custom launcher.. Apex and Nova would be your best bet.. available in the Play Store..
Thanks for your response!
I'm more inclined to change the interface without make root the phone. I'm still new to the world of android, htc desire s bought (used) a little time for 120 €.
By the way, what you advise the prime New laucher? or Apex launcher pro?
Thank you!
Nova or apex, but it's a personal choice for everyone here. Those are the main two used though
I am going to call my kids Ctrl, Alt and Delete. Then if they muck up I will just hit them all at once.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594642 This is the best I can find. I also love to have Sense Keyboard, but this mod don't have my language (Vietnamese) so I haven't tried it. You can try it and report the result :highfive:.
If it doesn't work for you, try to stay with Smart Keyboard from the Play Store, it's HTC theme is quite nice . In fact, I'm using Smart Keyboard, very fast, good prediction/ correction and very lightweight on RAM. It rarely use more than 10MB of RAM, and I love that fact since we have very limited RAM .
