Hi buddies i'm having htc touch 3g today my touch screen was not responding properly,so i did hard reset.after the initial settings were loaded it landed on align screen window,as per the instruction i tapped the pointer and its moving well,but i have been moving the pointer for almost 1 hour but no use still its asking me to tap the pointer.I'm stuck in the align screen window.Please help.

hi i had a screen that was a bit dodgy, i had to keep aligning it because the cursor move back to the middle, keep trying to align this may help. you may have to be more prisise
I have done this about 50 times in the last week and it does not go past the align screen. The screen is actually aligned but don't know what to do next - isn't it supposed to go on to a new screen when aligned? Mne doesn't.

I have problem with my screen alignment.. ASUS P535. It repeats again and again.. I updated my ROM and nothing happend. Then I've changed digitizer on my LCD. It worked, but for 1 time. When fresh copy of ROM started. Screen alignment was correct. When I've got loaded my WM device restarted and asked to align screen. And nothing happend. And it again repeats.. What should I do now? Maybe is there a way to upload screen align file direct to my ASUS P535? Or any other suggestions..
This happened to my bother-in-law on his omnia. he had it replaced 3 times. 3 devices, 3 bad screens after a few weeks each. The alignment was way off, and if he hard reset.. he got stuck on the alignment screen and could not go past it.
Tapping all 4 corners and then the center should all line up perfect or it will repeat until it's right. If the screen is messed up.. (Not registering the taps accurately) this would cause your problem.
I know you replaced your digitizer, but I think you have bad hardware.
did you notice the screen was not accurate before this happened?
Yes. It was not accurate. Half screen from top was accurate, but other half not.. I had to tap screen ~1cm lower to hit correct 'button'.
Ok.. If hardware is broken. So then which part? Or just I'll take my device to pro to fix it.. If it will be possible..
I also used Remote Screen Alignment software. It solved align problem, WM is working, but everywhere I tap, it taps bottom right corner.

I have a problem with my phone. It is deviated to left so that I can't press the number 3. When I press number 3, it effect to the number 2. I used align screen function to fix but I have problem with align screen. I touched to the target for 40 minute but the target still continue. Then, I reset my phone( although the align screen still continue) but the phone's status haven't still improved( it is still deviated to left).
How must I do?

I recently dropped my phone and the screen and digitizer broke.
However after getting it replaced, it seems that I am unable to long hold/press my screen.
The screen stops registering a touch after 2-3 seconds and that gets really annoying as I am unable to do some actions, especially playing games and using the backspace key properly.
Some other problems are -
Some touches/taps aren't registered
The lockscreen doesn't register initial touches sometimes, I have to lock and unlock the screen again to fix this.
Is there anything I can do? I'm mostly annoyed about being unable to long press my screen for so long.
Hi, I have problems with touchscreen on my sensation xe. The touchscreen is unresponsive in lower part of screen. Sometimes it's working properly but just for few minutes. After heavy usage it also starting making fake touches on the area.
First picture in attachments shows what happened when i slowly swipe from top to bottom.
Second picture shows what happened when i swipe with one finger on the "failed" area from left to right. Even single touch on this area makes two fake touches or nothing.
I want to ask you if you experienced similar issue and if so how you solved it?
