[Q] Touchscreen unresponsive area - HTC Sensation

Hi, I have problems with touchscreen on my sensation xe. The touchscreen is unresponsive in lower part of screen. Sometimes it's working properly but just for few minutes. After heavy usage it also starting making fake touches on the area.
First picture in attachments shows what happened when i slowly swipe from top to bottom.
Second picture shows what happened when i swipe with one finger on the "failed" area from left to right. Even single touch on this area makes two fake touches or nothing.
I want to ask you if you experienced similar issue and if so how you solved it?

touch inaccurate when using finger on screen

Hi,
When I use my finger on my HTC trinity screen (rather than using the stylus) sometimes the start menu opens. At first I didn't understand why, but then when I opened the notes application and used my finger to draw on the screen I noticed that sometimes a line appears from my finger to the top left corner of the screen, even though I didn't touch there... It's as though the screen is confused and it detects a touch on the top left corner.
Anyone have a clue why this is happening?
Have you tried recalibrating it?
yup, tried that but it still maintains.
I had problems on my i760 with the screen, here are the steps you can do, not really much:
1. Recalibrate
2. Hard Reset
3. Return for new device

Right side not responsive

I am having a very annoying problem that I think may be related to the lock screen issues. I have the lock screen issue that is intermittent. My biggest complaint is that after I unlock the phone and say want to type a text or dial a phone number, the right hand side of the touch screen is not responsive for about 3-5 seconds. Very, very disappointing.
Is this common or related?

[Q] [J] CM10 FXP217 Touch freeze

I've got Xperia J with CM 10, release FXP217, kernel version 3.0.8. Everything seems all right and the phone works as it should (except of the known issues and bugs). But I noticed that nobody mentioned, that their touch freezes or anything.
The main issue and reason for asking this question - sometimes my screen, or rather touch, freezes and there's nothing I can do with it. It doesn't react to any movement, but the phone itself remains functional and does everything normally, so it doesn't remain active or anything, just doesn't react to any touch at all. I have to press power button a lot before it starts reacting again. I usually press the power button and move my finger across the screen for as long as it doesn't lock itself or unfreeze.
At other occasions it does something a bit different - the touch gets a bit dull and unresponsive in general, but after some using it, it goes back to normal. When using the Pointer location overlay i noticed, that while I move my finger across the screen, the trail stops for a half a second or so and continues. It's like the touch periodically gets "disabled" or something. But when I press HARD and move my finger a bit slower than regularly it mostly is good and after some time - it gets back to normal.
One day it may occur twice or maybe even not at all, sometimes it happens a lot, like even 4-7 times; at rare occasions, this problem reoccures in small periods of time (like when I use the touch screen a lot).
Is there anything known about this issue? Is there a fix for that?

Dead / less sensitive horizontal stripe on the screen (touch)

Hey there,
so far, i am pretty happy with my S7. But there is one thing that is kind of worrying to me. On the lower end of the screen there seems to be a much less touch-sensitive area forming a horizontal stripe going form almost full left to full right. Its less noticable when i remove the screen protector (0.3mm 9h glas) but still there, and with the screen protector applied i consistently fail to hit the lowest row of keys on any keyboard app.
Question is, can this be a software-related issue and be fixed with an update, or is this a case of faulty hardware and should therefore be RMAed? Or is there something else i can do?
Things i tried: Factory reset, TSP-update via code *#2663# (which said "pass" but didnt change anything like version numbers), cleaning the screen, removing protector (which mitigated the problem, but its still there)
Its me again, with updates.
I have returned my S7 and got a new one. Funny thing is - its a completely different unit (different IMEI and S/N, seal wasnt broken upon arrival) and yet it shows exactly the same problems.
Can some of you please test the following: Using the stock Samsung keyboard, try to tap the spacebar right on the lower border. If i tap below the spacebar, it gets pressed. if i tap above the lower border of the spacebar, it gets pressed as well. But tapping right on the border will allow me to touch the screen surface without any signal registered. The keyboard is just for the height reference - from almost far left to almost far right this height is almost dead for finger touches - using a pen diminishes the problem.
Can some of you please try the same? Please check the height upon which your touches in that height get registered. Since i have gotten two phones with the same problems i suspect its a software problem and thus should apply to more people than just me. I have the SM-G930F Exynos.

I have the same problem in the video posted at the bottom of this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/help/s7-flat-unresponsive-touchscreen-t3343175
I have also noticed this problem. It all started out when I noticed I was making a lot more errors when texting. I'm coming from an S5 so the screen size wasn't the issue.
I then started tapping towards the bottom...space bar... period etc and sometimes it would miss. I could tap for like 20 times, and maybe there are 5 consecutive times that it didn't register.
May forum staff merge the 2 threads please?
It would also be great to have an official news in homepage with an official statement from Samsung about this issue

FINALLY Found a solution !!!
For those of you having this problem that sometimes the S7 or the S7 edge doesnot register touch somewhere near the bottom right area of the screen:
I (and i suppose most of you) had tried all the solutions like wiping cache, factory reset, soft reset, *#2663# and what not. None of them worked.
Now, the solution is, when this problem occurs, turn off the screen and press the Phone hard on the right hand side of the phone. Like the right half of the phone has got paralised, press it hard, squeeze it. Like, place it on the table or a soft surface and press with the thumb. 3 or 4 presses hard enough on the right hand side from the top to the bottom. And Voila, the problem is gone.... Enjoy your phone. The problem does come back randomly and do the same thing. It works instantly.....

Dealing With Touchscreen Issues?

So I recently dropped my phone (with a case) and a rock may have hit the screen directly. There is only a tiny, minor scratch on the top of the screen but the internal touch sensor on the bottom half seems to be messed up. Certain places of the screen will identify touches randomly to other places on the screen causing random swipes and taps when typing. I probably wouldn't be able to type this post on my phone without it tapping out of the keyboard or exiting chrome completely. I could barely swipe through developer tools without it randomly tapping the enable toggle countless times.
Now I know I probably can't fix this cause its a hardware issue but is there any way to make my experience any better for me until I can finally get an upgrade?
RIP, looks like it was just the crappy block I was using to charge the phone
