Any other place or web site, because it's very expensive in Samsung center.
You can find it in Local markets depending on You place.
In India, Locals can fix it up for you within 3-4K ($80-$100 Approx).
But, Locals are not reliable.
They may fix your problem with Motherboard and G-Sensor,but, you may face other problems.
And, If they change the motheboard into a local one, I doubt they can keep the software running for that!
And, You can fake up a warrenty possibly.
How did you break it?

You dont have a choice.
Because the local dealers may mess up stuff.
In India you have things called "Grey Market" and Other Markets where there are duplicate spares. But, These may lead to a goof-up. ANd, Hence, you should just negotiate with Samsung.
Or you can ask your local dealer, on how to proove that the phone did not come in water-contact. (I dont think there is a way to do that)
And, just go back to Samsung as if you never went there

Mangalore is the Port City...I believe..
All the Dubai Imports lands in Mumbai or Mangalore.. Ask there!
I would like to ask for your help guys who have more knowledges about gadgets.
Recently i bought an n9005 here in ksa but the store have given me a unit which is i think a europe version (because unlike my other friends the box of their n9005 have arabic writtings but mine is not and the seal was something euro).
My questions are:
1. How will i know that the note i bought is authentic?
(Though the person who sold it to me told me its original, but
Still i'd like to know how or what to check like serial numbers
at the back of the unit stickers or etc aside from the verbal
Assurance of the seller or is there any site like apple where to check the authenticity of iphones by entering the the unit serial number).
2. Can i use the phone in the philippines?
Please do help me guys. Need your pov and expertise..
My n9005 details
Ap: N9005XXUBMI7
Cp: N9005XXUBMI6
CSC: N9005OJVBMI2
To find out if it's authentic, your best bet would be to contact Samsung directly and ask them. They will have a full database of all units and serial numbers.

And this is the problem. No disrespect to this guy, but none of us can say for certain.
Hey guys, just giving a reminder to request the kernel source code for the s7 and s7 edge. You can do that by going to this link http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=inquiryView and filling in the form. For reference the flat model is SM-G930 and the edge is SM-G935. Just set the inquiry type to source code and the category to soc/application processor. For the message just put something like "request for S7 edge kernel source code". Typically Samsung releases the source code faster when they are being nagged. The sooner we get the source the sooner we can start getting to work. Hopefully my Edge gets here in the next few days

I'm not sure if they will release before March 11th, but at the very least the more people we get to request, the sooner it will be.
I've also put in a request. Hopefully more people will soon
