Any other place or web site, because it's very expensive in Samsung center.

You can find it in Local markets depending on You place.
In India, Locals can fix it up for you within 3-4K ($80-$100 Approx).
But, Locals are not reliable.
They may fix your problem with Motherboard and G-Sensor,but, you may face other problems.
And, If they change the motheboard into a local one, I doubt they can keep the software running for that!
And, You can fake up a warrenty possibly.
How did you break it?

Water
I took it to Samsung and they check the phone and found out that there is some water inside the phone and my warranty is void.

You dont have a choice.
Because the local dealers may mess up stuff.
In India you have things called "Grey Market" and Other Markets where there are duplicate spares. But, These may lead to a goof-up. ANd, Hence, you should just negotiate with Samsung.
Or you can ask your local dealer, on how to proove that the phone did not come in water-contact. (I dont think there is a way to do that)
And, just go back to Samsung as if you never went there

simple reson to voi your warranty

On hearing the word warranty you may not be so instrested or it must be annoying because you have rooted your mobile but there are ways to unroot your mobile
But there is another simple reason how customer center void your warranty and th reason is moisture is entering your device and oxidising a part in our device
So dont keep your mobile in
wet hand or if sweat i comming from your hand
on water especially at the area of speaker
moisture laden place
any place where watter is there
Dont insert wet pat of your headphone and charger
Care ur mobile
or
even if you brick your mobile you will not get replacement due to dat oxidised part

Thank you for the Advice, man! You lost your warranty like this, right?
Samsung Said me the same for my SL. I said them that I did not even Touch the phone with wet hands and also, they saw that I had their Source Code downloading at 98% when I entered the place. So, They asked me if I was a Developer. I replied "YES". They gave me the warranty and warned me to be careful the next time

Indian Service centers Never care for such stuff! They just need the bill and they will service it! Sad For you though!
ya i also know they dont do but somtime they tend to do for making money and they service mobile under warranty let it be as my mob is not bricked or broken
but samsung should prepare mobile of such quality which are weather resistant even if they put smaal satchet of silica gel inside the device problem may be fully solved
any deteriored part of a hardware will void your warranty no matter what.
yes but it the matter if you you have not done anything and its the fault of your company and weather then what is our fault why should our warranty be voided
Samsung Rocks
Service centre in my city repaired my friend's mobile in warranty although they saw it was rooted........they just said 'Good Job......Keep up' to him....

so my dad is gonna visit in china.
i want him to buy me some cheep android phone for my trips. (im go "camping" alot)
so, any idea what store he should visit? and maybe should i just order one online?
i want to spend some where in the 100$.
thank for any help
anyone? please i got one week to be sure what im gonna do!
I ordered mine online. No problems. Note that you should but before you order it online, send seller/manufacturer some inquiries (e-mail) to see how they behave.
If warranty is important for you then leave fingers off.

Best place to buy in the UK?

Is there a goto place to buy in the UK with a UK warranty?
Had a nightmare with oneplus and wont' buy chinese again until they have some local presence.
The Honor 8 in blue looks great, so hence the question of where to buy.
vmall.eu looks like its not UK based...
Thanks
There's cheaper but i picked mine up from Amazon just for the peace of mind of their returns.

Your best bet is to purchase the Honor 8 UK edition thru vmall.eu (https://www.vmall.eu/uk/honor-8-blue-292297/) which includes a warranty (see specifics here: https://www.vmall.eu/uk/warranty-policy/). If you have any other questions regarding the device and warranty policy, please let us know. (NS)
I got mine from a three store in the uk. No other stores stock these.
Can't go wrong mines blue looks gorgeous
vmall.eu's shipping seems from Expansys?

Notes:
The estimated arrival times are taken directly from information provided by our couriers. These are estimates only, and EXPANSYS are not responsible for any variation.
If selecting a next working day service, goods will need to be signed for. To help, please give a delivery address where someone will be available to sign.

i phoned them and told them I don't need a sim card thanks.. already got one, so got just the phone for 339. If you get told they can't sell them on the phone and online only, then hand up and call back until you get someone who knows what they are doing. took me three attempts. must be why they are called three!
Buying them Honor devices from Three UK you get the same warranty as if bought online via Vmall.UK.So trust assured you good on all accounts and Vmall will deal with you directly once bought.
Got my partners from three today a d on the phone there is like a customer service portal, typed in the imei and she has a two year warranty

Between 3 and Expansys, Amazon are by far the best option for me, but they only cover the device for one year and then you’d have to go to honour or others?
Just not clear and although it looks a lovely device, I will steer clear until it becomes clear who i deal with if anything should go wrong.
Thanks for all the input, much appreciated.

I think 1 year is good enough already... usually after 1 year, manufacturer will stop/slow down upgrade, at that time, you have to rely on developers from XDA or places alike.

i have to agree here, most places will only offer a year anyway as after this they normally have slowed down production and are at that point concentrating on another product.
if its that much of a problem about aftercare i would personally find good insurance for your phone after the year is up @OP
i have insurance on all my electronics so i never pay a thing for breakdowns etc.

Gr5 2017/Honor 6x Bad Customer Support

I'm having a problem with my gr5 2017
the Display of the gr5 2017 has some white spot and huawei customer service told me they will replace my display
But it's about month and they telling me they don't have parts.
so i complain to huawei Global and still no answer.
they told me to contact local support.
is there anyone that can help me to contact them
i will never buy a huawei product again.
They should provide a solution. When they don't have the parts they can swap the phone. You have warranty. Period!
Give them a written final date to provide a solution. If they don' t: sue them!

Yeah but not really as they shipped more than 100 millions smartphone this year and may be leapfrogged Apple in the market share unless the actual figures come out.
There is a tough competition between apple and Huawei now and being pocket friendly, it may go up anytime.

Refurbished

Hey everyone.
So I was out looking for phones and I found a guy in delhi selling refurbished phones. They have a website, three branches as per say.
So I got myself a deal for one plus 6 in around 18k.
6gb,128gb version.
I am currently on Rei Note 5 Pro and thinking of making the change.
All I need is a little reponse if I should go ahead ?
I have paid 500 as booking fees, site seems legit. The guy seems legit so far.
He will give me the tracking Id tomorrow and the rest amount is COD.
What do you guys think of it ?
The device comes with 1 year warranty and 1 week replacement/ return.
Feels sketchy , seeking a 34 k mobile for 18 k May be the screen or some other internals may have been replaced. Also what type of warranty is he providing seller or company warranty and in India we have had enough tube getting warranty service from known brands it is risky to trust seller warranties
Looks like scam to me
Why would anyone sell a phone for 18k when it can easily fetch 30-35k INR?
Remember, If something seems too go to be true. It is most likely a scam of some kind. Don't waste your hard earned money on something fishy as this!

I dunno man. It seems good by the name of it.
My product is already been shipped.
I totally bonged the guy, asking him several questions.
He said these are custom duty free refurbished handsets. Sometimes unboxed.
People return or replace them frequently it seems.
Anyways, he is assuring me, he said i can live video call him while unboxing. I mean that counts for something I guess.
I will make a video of unboxing though.
Well lets hope for the best then.

So after my repeated attempts to get an ID from the guy made me cancel the order.
The guy , Mithlesh Sharma, employee of the website company or so he told me.
He sent me an Adhaar Card of some person he said was his boss.
I mean he couldn't send his own but apparently all employees have the boss's adhaar card.
plus it was all sketchy from the start..and with all the frauds goin on..i backed out.
as soon as I told him I will not be receiving the parcel as he failed to present a proof. He blocked me and did not respond on call.
moreover if you check olx, now i see these fake ads more than actual ones.
i mean a guy has posted ads in chandigarh, lucknow and delhi at the same time. Cash on delivery..buff..
I mean what if the box had just glass or bricks or soap inside. I choose to believe nobody would;ve listened then.
17k is a good amount.
might as well but the pocof1..lol
