With all respect, who needs an Android forum when we have XDA!!!!

Am I supposed to get to ten posts when I don't have any questions, and I'm not allowed to post in the Dev forums.
I created this account for the sole purpose of giving feedback and helping people in android dev forums, and I can't do that until I have ten posts. *meh*
Got the same problem dude

How about answering some questions in here. Dev sections aren't meant for questions.
If I see some good ones I will. But I prefer to give answers I know about. I have one phone, and some experience with the HP touchpad. And I've installed only one rom on each. Those are what I feel I could help with best. Ah well, maybe in their general forums I'll see something useful for me to do.
Same problem right here :

This website is not a community for breaking rules that are illegal you can try to google search but I Doubt you'll find one

Well hello there, new user who rushed into not only using the xda forums, but also downloading the XDA app and posting without reading the rules!
I believe you are going to be extremely happy with what I have to offer. You see, I am about to give you the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. It's 42!
But that's not all. I'm also giving you something (almost) just as important, the link to the rules of these forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=530
However, since you apparently suffer from a certain lack of vision and/or understanding (considering that you've already read and agreed to these rules), I'm going to take one extra step and actually quote the part that interests us:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.
Click to collapse
And obviously (this is more about common sense than rules): post in the correct section.

there isnt. that would be illegal...
I think it would be a nice thing to have a place at xda where all the raspberry owners / developers could discuss, like it's going on for so many devices every day. The Pi is a pretty nice thing in my opinion and as there is a possibility of running Android on it, the need for a section is even bigger. What do you think of that idea? Let me know please by answering on this post

I'm just curious if there is forum for clone phones and tablets? I'm shocked there isn't one. Can xda start one if there isn't one?

There isn't one because there are a huge range of clones and very few developers interested in them

that's a shame. oh well. could we start one? I now many of the clones use android OS
All device forum requests can be made here. Thread closed.
Does anyone know if an iPad can run javascript?

posts about idevices are not allowed in xda, besides xda doesn't even specialize in idevices so it is better to post you question here
http://iphone-developers.com/
There's actually a lot of members with iOS devices, so it's not uncommon to see questions about them on xda, but you are better off asking at the xda sister site, as linked above.
