I think it would be a nice thing to have a place at xda where all the raspberry owners / developers could discuss, like it's going on for so many devices every day. The Pi is a pretty nice thing in my opinion and as there is a possibility of running Android on it, the need for a section is even bigger. What do you think of that idea? Let me know please by answering on this post

Am I supposed to get to ten posts when I don't have any questions, and I'm not allowed to post in the Dev forums.
I created this account for the sole purpose of giving feedback and helping people in android dev forums, and I can't do that until I have ten posts. *meh*
Got the same problem dude

How about answering some questions in here. Dev sections aren't meant for questions.
If I see some good ones I will. But I prefer to give answers I know about. I have one phone, and some experience with the HP touchpad. And I've installed only one rom on each. Those are what I feel I could help with best. Ah well, maybe in their general forums I'll see something useful for me to do.
Same problem right here :

Can the forum be splited in two sections for each device?
Verry soon it will be confusing for each device will be a topic.
I was thinking that only few (up to now) can be applicable to both devices.
And, at the end, we will finish in the same way as GT-I9100 vs GT-I9100G

I like this.
Too bad it won't happen though.

the developers are pretty good at listing which device is his/her ROM is compatible with so I personally don't think this is neccessary and it would just create more work for moderators.
I support the idea but i uunderstand if they don't. I hope we soon have a reason for it if u know what i mean

One, the original post doesn't belong in Development. Unless you created it, it doesn't belong in this section.
Two, there are too many cases of development efforts applicable to both devices. Splitting the forums is a horrible idea for this reason.
Moved To Q&A
Please dont post questions/requests in the dev section!
When i go there they tell meto come here apperently you cannot discuss anything android vs ios on these forums which makes comparing them impossible for people like me who do not wanna soebd hours researching for a question people on these forums know.

Eh... well those threads end up turning into flame wars, that's the problem.
If you want any pointers on iOS vs Android, feel free to PM me. I'm Android biased but I can be fair when I want to.

Most of the people on XDA are incapable of having a rational conversation about the iPhone.
Same here android vs iphone just turns bad real fast, hence thread closing.
Thanks & before it gets there....thread closed.
Does anyone know if an iPad can run javascript?

posts about idevices are not allowed in xda, besides xda doesn't even specialize in idevices so it is better to post you question here
http://iphone-developers.com/
There's actually a lot of members with iOS devices, so it's not uncommon to see questions about them on xda, but you are better off asking at the xda sister site, as linked above.

I find no help to the ones who are really want it and everyone answers to simple questions like which should be my next phone?

That's because the questions of recommending phones or kernels or even ROMs are not allowed in xda. Sorry Mate!
Better luck next time!

What Arnau said plus many times people don't want to look stupid on forums with as much brainpower and expertise as on the XDA forum. Some of the most brilliant people hang out here and obviously if you don't know what you're talking about, to try and bluff your way through may work on some forums, but not here.
As you visit more often, look for some of the gurus, follow their threads, Thank Them and if they help you, contribute. That might really help you get the answers you need. Good luck.
XDA is not a support site, it is a site for and about developers and development, soooo, I suggest, if you are in fact looking for support, use search here, or go elsewhere.
Meanwhile, development still occurs here at XDA.
