Why members in xda ignore hard questions - General Questions and Answers

I find no help to the ones who are really want it and everyone answers to simple questions like which should be my next phone?

That's because the questions of recommending phones or kernels or even ROMs are not allowed in xda. Sorry Mate!
Better luck next time!

What Arnau said plus many times people don't want to look stupid on forums with as much brainpower and expertise as on the XDA forum. Some of the most brilliant people hang out here and obviously if you don't know what you're talking about, to try and bluff your way through may work on some forums, but not here.
As you visit more often, look for some of the gurus, follow their threads, Thank Them and if they help you, contribute. That might really help you get the answers you need. Good luck.

XDA is not a support site, it is a site for and about developers and development, soooo, I suggest, if you are in fact looking for support, use search here, or go elsewhere.
Meanwhile, development still occurs here at XDA.

But on these forums, whenever anyone asks anything simple, we HAVE to tell people how stupid they are and be *****y about it, even if it's pointless to do so, and even if it's faster to just answer the question

Hi guys
Is there app to hack wifi

This website is not a community for breaking rules that are illegal you can try to google search but I Doubt you'll find one

Well hello there, new user who rushed into not only using the xda forums, but also downloading the XDA app and posting without reading the rules!
I believe you are going to be extremely happy with what I have to offer. You see, I am about to give you the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything. It's 42!
But that's not all. I'm also giving you something (almost) just as important, the link to the rules of these forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=530
However, since you apparently suffer from a certain lack of vision and/or understanding (considering that you've already read and agreed to these rules), I'm going to take one extra step and actually quote the part that interests us:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.

And obviously (this is more about common sense than rules): post in the correct section.

Joe,
I apologise, but I felt that pointing the OP to the video was valid. He has clearly not watched it or read the rules of XDA;-
Hasn't searched the forums
Posted a thread with no helpful subject matter
Hasn't posted in his device forums
Threads about "Which ROM is best" always get closed due to the subjective nature of the answers
Lol that movies just shows you its pretty common sense using a forum like this haha, if you don't have common sense don't waste the developers time on xda.forums

No best ROM threads are allowed sonny....
If you think that's simple then tell me, what would make one ROM better for gaming than another? There probably isn't an answer for that tbh, since most game tweaks are mods that you can apply yourself without switching ROMs

Xda app...

Dear xda,
I'm not sure if this is in the correct area, so please move to appropriate forum as needed.
I'm here to ask about the apparent lack of support for the xda premium app. I bought this app to support you guys and what you do because I believe in what you do. However the app itself had not been updated for over 8 months? This is kind of ironic given xda is about android development, yet the mobile app is not what we would expect from this great community. The reviews on the play store only confirm that the app is in serious need of an update.
I'm not bashing the app or the supporters of said app. But I am concerned that after paying for this, to help with its development we as customers have been neglected.
Please can the xda team provide a response to this query.
Many thanks.
d4c
Does the app need updating? The money from the app is to support XDA as a whole, not just to pay for development of the app.
I bought the premium app and the premium HD app just to support XDA, even though I use tapatalk too access the forums when I'm mobile.
So if you did use the xda app for the purpose it was created for you would want it to work properly? Yeah I thought so...

If it wasnt for XDA, I would have several bricked phones, and no knowledge at all.. xD
I like the opportunity that XDA creates. It creates an environment where people can not only display and share their work but also where people can come learn and become developers. If not for XDA most of our eyes would still be closed. Huge Thank you to the staff and many devs on XDA!

XDA Developers is in my opinion the best forums related to android and smartphone subjects. Here you can find a solution of a "deep", complex problem because there are many experienced members. Many of them develop things too.
One of the best places to get android based tech resources and help. Keep it up. Cheers.
