I wanted to sprinkle 2.1 rom from a few attempts but failed.Than when I turn on the phone appears on the screen and monitor phone icon with an exclamation point između.What to do, does anyone what happened to your phone
You are using wrong ops file, use the correct ops file.
When you flash 1.5 firmware you should use spica.ops as .ops file, when flashing 2.1 you should use spica_jc3.ops as .ops file in odin.

Hi
I just got my Galaxy Note 10.1, model number N8005. It's the model that is sold in Turkey, has 3G&WiFi connectivity but can't make phone calls.
I'm really sorry before if this question had already been asked, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Anyway, after unboxing it I decided to update the android version to the 4.1 Jelly Bean directly, by using the German rom.
The process in Odin start smoothly until it starts to install the modem.bin file and then it fails. I tried repeating the installation process about 5 times, changing usb ports, restarting computers, and it still fails at modem.bin. I forgot to take screenshot but the modem.bin file is installed after the recovery.img and system.img.
The tablet won't boot up after this process, it only shows the update failed, please connect to Kies screen. Since I don't know what to do anymore, i tried rooting it by using Odin and magically it succeed and the tablet start up normally. I checked the android version and it shows 4.1.1
The tablet runs pretty normally, except that the S Note application won't start. Everytime I open it, it immediately force close.
What I want to ask is what is the cause of error Odin fails in installing modem.bin file? Is this okay since there are still some file that odin hasn't installed yet (hidden.img, boot.img, cache.img and modem.bin)? (Also is there any way to fix the S Note app so it would run normally again? Should I try installing other rom again using Odin?
I'm pretty scared to install rom using Odin again now
Thank you.
(I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong section)
i got a s4 from my friend. he said he was doing a OTA update and the phone just cut off. now when he turns on the phone the galaxy s4 logo just keeps rebooting. i tried to root it to put cwm but it just keeps rebooting. But when i put it but odin tells me there is no pit partition.
i did further research and tried looking for the pit file of the galaxy gti9500. i found the pit file for a gti9500. the name of the file was called adonis.pit when i unzipped it. i dont know the baseband version of it to even download the factory imnage back on it. i tried everything.
can someone give me some advice please.
i tried to download a panama stock rom and insert the pit file in odin. but odin gives me this message
cant open the serial (COM) port.
please i need help in this matter
also i tried connecting the usb plug in the back of the motherboard.

Hello everyone,
I have a quite confusing issue with my Galaxy Y which results in me having to keep turning the Wi-Fi on every time I power off/restart the phone via the power button.
I've re-installed the stock ROM numerous times using "Odin3 v1.85" and the CSC, PDA and PHONE .tar files (with only 2 boxes ticked, e.g. "Auto-Reboot" and "F-Time Reset"). I've left everything else blank and unticked.
Hoping someone has experienced the same issue and/or able to solve my issue. Although I have been thinking it may be a problem with the Wi-Fi chip in the phone itself.
King regards and thank you in advance,
BuZ!
Also I need someone to try and get another ROM for me, although HOTFILE has been shut down and taken offline. That doesn't allow me to download and use the ROMs. I want someone to create the 3 .tar files needed to use for flashing the phone using the .md5 file (which combines all 3 .tar files together, which means it won't be accepted and readable by odin).
I would appreciate and thank someone if they went the little extra of finding me all the available ROMs for the Galaxy Y in the UK and converting the single file into the 3 .tar files that will allow me to flash my phone through the use of Odin.
Dear friends...
I bought a brand new j710mn phone yesterday
Well I took it home and attempted to root it. I believe it was successfully rooted but I can't day for sure.
Now I am stuck on a boot screen that has red letters to the top saying custom binary blocked by FRP lock.
Ive been searching all over for a solution but no luck.
I have already tried the following.
1. Flashing stock firmware using Odin via the downloadING screen. But this is blocked by FRP
2. I have tried using Samsung switch.. but it appears as though it does not support the j710
3. I have searched for an sboot file but to no avail. As I've seen that it has worked for those who had a similar problem on their s6edge.
4. I have tried sideloading and installing files using adb and sdcard. But these options have been blocked by frp
5. Of importance I know my username and password for my Google account but I can't get passed the boot screen.
My firmware version is J710MNUBU1APL4
Thanks for anyone knowledgeable enough to assist.
Kind regards
i have the same problem
when i restart my J7 i find this hell error, well , after five hours searching, bricking, a solution dropped, follow this steps written by me.
First of all , install 7zip ,after , download the stock rom from your region, in sam mobile.
ok, now the tutorial starts...
1 - extracts the stock rom in a folder....
2 - rename the "hidden.img" file to "hidden.img.tar"
3 - select all other files(except hidden.im.tar) , right click , 7zip , compress in compacted file , in compress type select tar.
4 - open odin , selec the generated tar in AP/PA, connect the device in download mode already.
5 - flash the file , and when display get black , enter in download mode again and flash the "hidden.img.tar" file.
6 - after that , the device will restart and update system , and the better thing is.... NO FACTORY RESET! nothing will be deleted , all files will stay.
sorry for the bad english :^P
