It would be great if we could have something like this what I found in the StarTrek Forum

the difference between pro and standard lies mainly in touchscreen support. So we will never be able to satisfy it even if most of Pro stuffs do work on Standard devices such as Vox.

True, but with Fake Cursor it would be possible to get touch screen support on the Vox by using thhe D pad, and you don't need a dial pad as the keypad does that. if the StarTrek Forum can get it to work properly then it should in theory be possible to get it working on the Vox.

yeah, if fakecursor would get better like fastermovement and it would be smoother it would be great, i mean fake cursor moves a bit stiff and i would like to see it move more smoothly
SPHelper is a lot better than FakeCursor, FYI.

FYI, SPHelper "is a lot better" in Standart OS only, not in Professional. And its shareware.

If you are so stupid for googling it than please shut up. I getting really mad when people says the words which they are dont know.
The main difference between Standart and Professional is that Professional supports Pocket PC applications, which is the most valuablest for smarphone devices.
Probably everybody already knows that Microsoft was working on totally new Windows mobile version what will have multi touch gestures and fully revamped UI something like Vista style.
The latest news is that it will be shown off at Mobile World Congress next month with expected release date late this year. I hope to see some leeks very soon in these forums
You can read full article here.

it could be very interesting, get it works on polaris
I'm scared that it'll be too heavy for the Polaris isn't it?
And no multi-touch for us, or am I wrong? Don't know if multitouch is possible with resistive technology :/
polaris cant even touch win7. we might get cooked ROMs with similar UI
Thank you for the news.
what he meant is be prepared to buy a new powerful device ...

Ok, I did not check the CPU, but if money is no object, go to HTCs website and look at the details for these:
1) HTC Shift
2) HTC HD2
3) HTC Hero
4) HTC Touch Pro/2
5) HTC Touch Diamond 2

HTC Shift - too big..
HTC HD2 - it looks great, the size the shape and even the CPU
HTC Hero - don't like the design
HTC Touch Pro 2 -too slow
HTC Touch Diamond 2 - too slow and don't like the design..
What about Nexus one?
You can always use pdadb.net for help on choosing a device

Hardware keyboard needed?...
WM or Android?...
Size screen?...
For WM get the HD2!
I can vouch for the Nexus One. Google-supported, meaning lots of rom updates (hopefully), lots of great features out of the box, intuitive UI, speedy phone with the Snapdragon processor.
If you get one, try and protect the screen. It seems that the screen can get hairline scratches easily. Treat it like your child

hi devs
i am a owner of Sonyericsson P1i, i have had this phone for 4 years, and its difficult for me to change it to another phone the only problem which i have had with this phone is the message application which is not "Threaded View".
i know it sounds crazy but is there any chance to install android on it? that would be greate
thaaaaaaaaaaaaanx
I do not think soo.
i guessed so, is it because its not capacitive touch screen? or because of the CPU and RAM ?
What os? And capacitive or resistive it doesn't matter android has some resistive tablets out there.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I'm sure it's possible if you're smart enough and willing to put in the work. But is it worth the effort?

Yeah I'm quite curious about this. Why is android not possible on a blackberry? No driver for its hardware? Bold 9900 has a 1ghz qualcomm, 728mb of ram and even a gpu. Something like a nexus one .
Doubtfull
That would require ALOT of work

No, this aren't possible even if you have a 1 GB RAM, because BlackBerry Bootloader are Propietary Locked. You have too much Windows Minding, Android are Linux. So there's no such thing as "Drivers".
