There are many other threads that contain the icon pack for the android 7 theme. All this is my custom icons for mdpi devices with my own custom dimensions for the android 7 theme. So this is my work just the method of applying it isn't. I did nothing wrong bro, I learned my lesson already.

this was done back in sept 2010 found here
and i even created an "ICON" pack found here back in sept..
its been done many times over and probably doesn't hold much interest anymore.. but to start your OP off with "Kifno's LauncherPro Theme" isn't the right way to go about it..
also.. you could use some pointers in creating your icons, cause most of them either look stretched or squeezed..

The thread I mention has many people posting their icons. Currently yours is the last post on that thread. It says you are almost done with your icons.
Now... you made a new thread to show off your work and separate it from the 30 page thread full of other peoples contributions.
I think you need to ease back on how proud of yourself you are. This seems to be kifnos icon set for a theme, more than kifnos theme. Just like your roms... they aren't your roms, they are your mods to existing roms.
So far you aren't a themer or a dev, yer just a modder. A modder who seems really full of himself, who makes long posts telegraphing his long term plans to anyone who will read it.
Your skills are being overshadowed by your boastful self-importance.

Kifno, I think you should try not to spread yourself too thin. This forum needs thinking and enthusiasm and will reward creativity - but there are too many informed people to try and embellish ones creations.
It's quality not quantity that counts most. Focus and let your work be your voice and not your voice.
People here are actually trying to help you with developing and with life in general. You don't have to be "the best", be your best and just relax and focus.
Don't take your ball home- just play smart. And whatever you do, don't try and sell your story on these threads and don't come off as a victim- you will lose respect, not gain it. You're young and have a lot of time.
Also, don't break your neck doing head spins.

Try looking again, or try a Google search. I did, and it took two seconds to see an answer, But you may have to... Gulp... read a bit... Next question, why did you settle on xboarders rom? Why not cm7 Nightlies, or weapon, or miui?

Ok OP, you just answered your own question: 2.3.3. Please stop posting stuff that can be easily found by surfing through the dev section for a bit. If you were to open, or maybe even look at (oh the horror) some of the threads in the dev section marked [KERNEL] and saw them labeled for 2.3.3 then you could have answered your own question without making yourself look stupid and gain a bad reputation.

I can understand that you guys get annoyed with him if he is just trying to get his post count up I really dont know or care if that is what is going on but come on stop picking on people who misspell unless it is really bad and you cant understand it. But if you didnt understand what the op meand in the first post then you are the idiot not him. I make spelling mistakes all the time sometimes it is because i am not so good with the touch screen and other times it is because I am too lazy to go back and fix it. Just ligghten up alittle some of you guys are tight asses and that is really getting annoying.

Some of his other posts have been damn near incomprehensible. It's the asking questions that have been answered before, and the demanding answers and links without searching, and the one that gets me most, being rude to people who are trying to help.
Maybe it's because I am an old guy but, I just don't think people should act that way especially in a community based forum where people try to help each other.
And he wants to develop a rom and i applaud him for that. But A) he is going to need to do some reading. And B) who is going to flash someone's rom when they can barely read the OP?
I am just trying to help him understand that there is a social code that should be followed.

Slowly, more and more, I think the same thing as you.
I respond to these threads trying to help. The user (op) is at square one and has no clue what to do. Regardless of how many sticky threads or putting stuff in your signature to help inform users of how to get help and what the rules are, they still just randomly flash things and say "It doesn't work" without telling you what didn't work.
Personally, I don't see this issue as often on other forums. Maybe xda-developers has a power that draws in clueless newbs that won't listen to anyone or read.
If another 15yo emails me about helping with kernel stuff and has no clue what shell scripting is, I'm going to bail from XDA.
I've spent a lot of time lurking, helping, and reading... like the rest of you. I have my own *life* problems to deal with as well.

If it bothers you that much just ignore the threads. If you do feel like being nice just post the link to the old thread for them. New users are NEVER gonna read the stickies so what's the point in getting frustrated?

Zeus Rom custom ringtones not working

For some reason my contacts ringtones have quit working and my phone ringtones plays for everyone. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with this and what the solution may be?

Well, nevermind. I installed Ringo from the Market and it worked that way. I had tried setting the contact ringtones thru both the system contacts as well as GoContacts and neither worked. But this did. Weird.
Anyone understand this?

Nun is right... but the only thing that irritates me is if you will look in general and [email protected], there are 7 Zeus threads created by people who don't feel like posting in the actual Zeus [email protected] thread. That's why I don't answer in these threads anymore, I have pointed and pointed people in the right direction to Zeus thread til I'm blue in the face. I think everyone should at least ask where it is, rather than start a multitude of threads... I can't be all over the place at one time, the reason I have a [email protected] thread, lol.... just stating the facts. No...not my boards. Just try to get the users of our roms on the same page as us. That is all. And if users of our roms...noob or otherwise...get treated poorly, just want them to know that its not our philosophy. We try not to put down users who need help, even when it comes to forum etiquette.
