I backed up all of my app's + system data using Titanium and i copied the TitaniumBackup folder to my computer, for safe keeping. Which i am glad i did, i dropped my phone and now i have a new phone and i would like to reinstall everything....is this possible? if so how? I have titanium reinstalled, and i thought i could just copy over the new backup folder...but it isnt working
EDIT:
I just needed to restart the phone. Copying the backup folder over the new one worked.

So I recently did a backup with titanium backup, moved it to the desktop and i did a factory reset on my phone. After downloading titanium backup again and moving the backup back onto my phone and into the folder I opened up titanium the backup files werent being shown in the app. What am I doing wrong guys?
Scratch that I got it to work with a reinstall of the program.
Word. I'm glad it works that way, had a similar situation earlier
the latest versions support dropbox.
I move it all up there, and then pull it back after a reset.
I successfully flashed serendipity 6.3 to my phone. Before I did i backed up all apps and data with titanium backup and copied that folder to my computer desktop in case i needed it later. So i downloaded titanium backup from the market again and it didnt have any of my files. So I copied the folder from my desktop to my phone and it still doesnt have my apps so I can't restore them. Am i doing something wrong?
Make sure usb debugging is enabled, make sure busy box is installed, make sure titanium folder is on root of sd
Sent from my SGH-I897 using XDA Premium App
unless you have rebooted, you need to hit the menu button while in titanium backup, click more, and click RELOAD APPLICATION

Ok, so here's the deal. I just bought a GS3 coming from a Inspire 4G and I used Titanium Backup to back up all my .apks and their data. I installed Titanium Backup onto the S3 and moved the data from the external SD to the internal memory where the Titanium Backup folder was created for the S3. But the problem is the apps aren't showing up in Titanium Backup where I can reinstall them. Even if I install the app then open Titanium Backup to see if it recognizes the backup now that the app is on the phone I still get nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

DId you change the backup folder location under the settings?
ive don't it between phones of the same type..
just copy the folder with the backups onto another sd card and it just showed up in titanium backup..
I made a titanium backup, copied the folder manually to the SD card, then flashed a ROM with wiped all of my internal memory. After starting the new ROM, I tried to make Titanium backup detect my copied folder, but to no luck. I tried overwriting it back to the internal memory folder, but still no luck.
Any way for me to solve this? Thank you
I ran a backup job on my V20 then copied all the files from the TB folder over to the new OP8 via Superbeam. Fired up TB and I can see all the apps I've installed on the OP8 from the MArket, but none of them show that there's a backup file present when there should be. Did I miss a simple step in the process?
Deleted everything from the TB backup folder on the new phone and copied again from the old phone. Worked that time.
