Hi,
Quick question, and I have searched!
Been trying out a couple of Dream roms (cyanogen 3.6.8.1 mainly) and people are telling me they can barely hear me during calls.
I'm using the internal mic, I can hear them fine so i don't think the solution is the meltus mods as they're for the speaker volume right?
What do I need to change to increase the volume of calls?
It's not the hardware as if I reflash my ION rom people can hear me fine???

Yes, there's one file that you have to replace in the update.zip:

It's in system/etc...
Thank you so much Back to cyanogen 3.6.8.1 (or 3.9) for me now
in the thread from the Fatal1ty rom you can read on the first sit, that he has replaced the Audiopara4.csv with the one from the Rogers-Rom.
this step was the first i have done , after i recognised the mic vokumen is low.
Ok I am coming from the Nexus S with Voodoo Sound and Picture and wow if you only knew how amazing Voodoo really is my biggest problem with my Nexus S was the in ear sound output. It was quickly remedied by the installation of PowerAmp, but that got old fast because although it sounds good its still not loud. I honestly want a phone that makes me have to turn the sound down so I don't blow my ear drums or cars speakers. I have amazing headphones iBeats by Dre to be exact and with Voodoo it made my phone sound amazing!!!!! But now i have the Inspire 4G i need a upgrade ASAP. Post away with any incite regarding a sound driver kernel or app anything please and thank you.

This kernel has speaker volume boost and is confirmed to work with Inspire stock ROM

There's a Inspire 4G ROM with this kernel already included here. It may be easier to just flash the ROM. It's a good one.

thank you i honestly dont have an inspire but since the inspire/desire hd/ evo/ thunderbolt are all extremely similar i figured it might be possible to boost my Tbolts speed
I was just wondering if Supercurio had given up trying to configure Voodoo Sound on the G2X because now it seems like he is putting all of his focus on the Samsung Galaxy S2 devices. I really love Voodoo Sound and right now the only thing he has done with the G2X is a headphone volume boost, so all in all i wanted to know if anybody could fill me in. Thanks.

Hei Guys,
i have an Moto G ,running Android KitKat CM12.
After Rooting my phone, setting up an custom rom i noticed that my recorded Audio Messages in WhatsApp/Audio Recorder App are really bad.
They are sound really muffled. The Bass of the Sound is getting removed and it sounds a bit clipped.
I don't know how to fix that.
My speakers are sounding clear and soft.... just the mic quality went completely worse after the custom rom installation.
Please help me Guys. <3
Thanks a lot
Steven

Not sure if this has been answered, but I searched this sub-forum with no results. Is MultiROM something we might see in the future for this phone?
Also, bonus question so I don't have to make another thread. Is it just me or is this phone's Bluetooth audio significantly lower than other phones? Seems my S7 edge (screw that phone) got way louder in that department. That phone was stock, this phone isn't. I've never used audio mods but now might be the time. What do you guys recommend?
Don't know about MultiROM. Guess we'll just see.
Regarding BT audio. Didn't stumble over this "issue" yet. But if you're looking for a sound mod, take on that's really universal and we'll done. I use Sauron from Ainur Audio Team. Thread by the team leader @UltraM8 can be found right here on XDA. it's a sound mod with some really good add-ons and a really good audio quality.
Sent from my HTC U11 using XDA Labs
Thanks for the reply!
I'm actually pretty surprised we don't have it (MultiROM) yet.
I'll go ahead and check that out once I'm off work, appreciate it!
Bump (is MultiROM still being pushed out anymore or was that just a phase?)
I found out about my Bluetooth issue. It was actually because I allowed poweramp to go louder than normal. If anyone is wondering.
