My co-worker has the Samsung Vibrant and I have a Telus HTC Hero. I played with it and can tell you that the Vibrant is a fantastic phone. It’s lightweight, the screen is awesome, it’s very smooth scrolling, and opening up apps is a snap. It came pre-loaded with Avatar and all I can say is WOW. The Captivate has similar specs because it part of the Galaxy S Series from Samsung. I would expect the Captivate to be just as good as the Vibrant but can’t say for sure.
If you keep waiting for the next great thing you will never buy a phone because there’s always something better on the horizon. If you really need an upgraded phone and can do it now, just do it. I hear the Dell Streak is also good but it’s kind of large. This is just my opinion and I hope it helps you somehow. As for Froyo, it will definitely make the Captivate an even better phone, it’s that good imho.

true but also i am only going to buy a phone that is available for att becuase i want to get a subsidised price

I was only using the t-mobile Vibrant as a comparison to the Captivate so you can make a somewhat informed choice. The Vibrant and the Captivate are very similar and AT&T has the Captivate.

yeah i was just speaking against the dell and stuff

Oh I see. It seems the Streak will only be sold by Dell for $299.99 with a 2 year agreement and not from AT&T. That's too bad

The X10 supposedly doesn't have multitouch hardware from what I read . Everything else is pretty good from what I understand. I would also be worried about Sony updating the phone from Android OS version 1.6 which ships with the phone. They really didn't support the Xperia X1 like some would have liked. If not for XDA that phone would have really been lacking.
So, if the lack of multitouch hardware and having version 1.6 are things that bother you I would skip this phone.

yeah i read that too. i have a new question though about the 2gb data cap. ive been reading up on how much that is in real world use but it is hard to actually tell. how much data do you think one would use just have like a facebook widget constantly on and weather and emails

This is just my opinion but, I would worry about the 2GB data cap. I know you think you would only be using Facebook, Weather, and Email but I don't think it would stop there.
Remember this is a smartphone capable of many different things. You will find yourself wanting to stream Youtube, Pandora, GPS with Google Maps, and using free ad supported apps/games from the Android Market. This is just an example of a few things. Doing all of these things you will go over the 2GB data cap in a month. I’m routinely over 5GB.
If you really stick to only the 3 things above you will be fine. Only update the Weather every 3 hours and use WiFi whenever possible. There’s an app in the Android Market called NetCounter which will help you monitor your data usage on both 3G and WiFi.

Help me decide what (android) phone to get!

So, I'm looking to get a new phone soon. I'm budgeted for $500$850 in mid-May for it, tho I'd be willing to wait as long as August or September if something really awesome is coming out.
I'm on T-mobile, so need a GSM phone that works on T-Mo, with T-Mo's 3g.
I'm hooked on Android, so whatever phone it is has to run Android (tho if I have to flash Android onto it, I'm cool with that, so long as there's a fully working ROM available!).
I've got a G1 now, and really like it, but I'd like a bigger/higher res screen (min 3.5 inches&800x400ish res), and a faster phone, so, faster CPU&more RAM. (I've got my g1 running cyanogen with the 10MB hack, and it's pretty decent, but I've got upgrade fever and want BETTER *grin*.)
I love the hardware keyboard, but have been using swype since they opened it to beta and could see myself living without a hardware keyboard. (Tho I'd rather not, as I've had phones with hardware qwerty keyboards since 2005 or so!)
I also want a good camera. The camera in the g1 is alright. I'd like a better one, but one about the same would be ok.
oh, and it definitely needs to used microsdhc. I'd prefer if the memory card slot was pretty accessible, as it is on the g1, but I can live with it being under the battery or somewhere stupid like that.
So, what phones should I be checking out?
I've only ever had 1 smart phone: HTC Desire. Can't fault it. I note you like the hard keyboard, but the Desire's soft keyboard is very good.
The Desire defintely meets most of my specs. On wikipedia it says 32Gb microsd. Did it come with a 32GB memory card, or is wiki just listing the max supported?
thats its max. it came with a 4gb, but i'd check that when you buy it. Mine was HTC branded (unlocked). The card was already in the phone, so when i was in the shop i thought it didn't come with one.
Good to know, thanks. I'll be buying it online if I get it, since I'm in the states, but I'll be sure to read the listing to see what size card it's got!
Do you have it rooted? I see it's been rooted but /system can't be accessed. Well, still, odds are that'll be done well before I'm looking to buy!
No i don't. At this stage I'm not too bothered, but almost certainly will mess with that soon.
Look at the Nexus One & it's resume' over at it's forum section
Nexus one is certainly a possibility, but after the 3g issues, I'm sorta hesitant.
I think that the Nexus 1 or the HTC Desire are the best android devices that are released. I would suggest the Xperia X10 but it's firmware is outdated and lacks multitouch and is super laggy regardless of the snapdragon processor. So, for now, and if you need 1 now, then get the Nexus 1 or the Desire.

What 3G issues? I & most N1 owners have none & are locked on 3G all the time. The only issues are T-Mobile's coverage & towers!
I meant the 3g issues it had when released. Doesn't make sense, I suppose, but it gave me a bad initial impression of the phone, which has persisted. And I can't even go by the T-mobile store and play with the phone to dispell my bad impression, cos it can only be bought online.
An Android phone for you?
Htc Desire or Htc Legend....I would prefer the legend for a lady..my girlfriend's got it ...I tried them both...they are fantastic, I have Hero so! we are very HAPPY...you are in the right way..Android is the future.
Which Android to get??
Htc Desire of course 100% you going to be fine!!
Legend doesn't meet my desired specs at all. 600mhz processor, 320x480 screen, EW! Desire looks spiffy, but from reading the specs, I don't think it'll work on T-mobile US, will it?
I'm leaning toward the nexus one. Roomie is getting the AT&T version, and I'm going to get to play with it while rooting&romming it for her, so that'll give me a chance to decide if the nexus one will work for me or not.
On the super nice side, I've got about $350 worth of unexpected overtime coming up (someone going out of town on short notice) so my budget changes, and I can afford to spend about $850 now! If I go with the nexus one, I'll probably get it from colorware.
Yeah the Desire wont have 3g on tmo

Yeah, that's what I thought. So the desire is out of the running.
All-Are there any especially awesome phones set to come out in the next few months? I just don't want to buy the nexus one and then 6 weeks from now see the 'Nexus one with a physical keyboard!' released.
you should go with the HD 2. I just read that there is a ROM so it can run 2.1 with sense. but look it up in case I read wrong or something. I'm sure you would double check anyway
Yeah, I'm in the same boat, kinda thinking about ditching tmo and going for the evo4g

[Q] Want to Upgrade from Nexus One, Is Captivate Ready for Primetime ?

Hi,
Just wanted to get some feedback from knowledgeable peeps around
My contract is up and was wondering if its a wise decision to switch from my utterly delightful Nexus One to more powerful Samsung Captivate
I like the flexibility and freedom to play around on my Nexus One, but the Super AMOLED and Faster GPU has been calling me to Samsung Captivate.
All the 2 cents are welcome.
Cheers

I believe the CPU and RAM are similar in both devices (1GHz and 512 MB respectively). Considering that the Nexus One seems to be Google's "official" Android development device, I would stick to that until something substantially superior comes out.
On a side note, I think you're going to miss the notification light on the Nexus One.

There is an app floating around here that uses a red dot on the screen as an LED indicator.
if you do decide to take that step, get one from amazon. Theyre selling for 49.99 with a 2 year.
im not too sure if it will work with an upgrade, but it never hurts to find out.
If I was to go back a couple of week in time, I'd wait until the GPS issue was fixed and the Froyo build was out from Samsung before taking the plunge on the Captivate. I am still thinking of returning my Captivate and going back to my sucky Blackberry until I can get a phone that I am not apologizing about by saying things like "it's better than the iPhone, but the GPS does not work and no, it isn't have the latest software but it definitely can make phone calls!". I'd wait on the Captivate.

Do not go back to your blackberry man! They are sooo boring. I could not wait to jump ship. I am kind of sad I am selling my bb 9700 though (GPS actually worked lol). Good times suing bbm. oh well I got android now and it the business.
If you really feel like going back to blackberry would you really be happy with their stale os?
Not yet man. Not til we get 2.2 IMO. I'd stick with the N1 for now. Don't get me wrong a few months from now galaxy s phones will be the new hot ****. But I don't think enough people have gotten their hands on them yet. No where near as many roms out there. GPS sucks a ****. Ahh hell, just get one.

Oh, it would be my old BB that I was using before I got my Captivate so I'll just be waiting very impatiently for the GPS fix and Froyo so I can come back! I'm a developer and have been mucking with the Android code to see if I could find/fix the GPS issues and port to Froyo myself but no luck yet. I am never going back to anything but Android - just need my first Android phone to actually work. I never actually use GPS except in a pinch when I am walking in the city but I need it to work at those times!
But for someone new, and who is not a developer - waiting on the Captivate is a good idea. Hopefully the fixes will come soon - I am just a little afraid that the GPS might be a hardware issue since the Galaxy S has been out for months and it has the same problems.

Yeah I am in the same boat with the gps issues. I do not really use it but I would love for it to work as flawlessly as it did on my Bold 9700. I am trying to get into the developer scene but I find it kind of hard. I have used linux before and know some basic coding in C,C++, and python but I just do not know how to start.
Anyways off topic. If you're on the boat about this phone get and if you do not like it return it before the 30 days are up. Blame it on the ****ty gps if it has not been fixed by then and you might get the restocking fee waived.
JUST DO IT.
I got it. What else are you going to upgrade to? I have a n1 but wanted a new toy. The captivate is awesome. Sure gps may suck if you really need one. I have gps in all my cars so don't care for it. But having new technology is cool. At&t has nothing better. What u gonna get the iphone? Lol. I bought two of them on my upgrade for my parents line and sold that ***** for 600 each. So for 50 dollars i get it. BUT don't get rid of n1. I still use it everyday. Its my main phone. Captivate is a play phone. I flashed it bricked it returned it mod it and brick it again and exchanged it. I exchanged it about five times already. Lol one store told me they will charge me resgocking charge on next return so i just went to another store down the street. Lol. I spent 100 bucks but literally got it free when i sold the icrap. Also saved the money for the htc desire hd/ace. It will come around. But not sure if it will be better then captivate. Once froyo or maybe gingerbread cones to captivate, i prob be selling my n1. MAYBE? I don't know if i ever will. Its only six month old. I say it will be good til android 4.0 comes out. Til then i prob keep the n1. So get it. Play with it, but keep the n1.

GPS would be nice if it worked for everybody , it seems so random sometimes it works sometimes not so much
You will def miss the trackball notifications. That's one big gripe of mine. I also miss the rock solid GPS, pix with geotagging that works (w/ out having to have gps turned on), the cm mods, some of the stock apps (especially the stock calendar app), and how much it frickin flies in general when compared to the captivate. I still have my N1 and will probably be returning the captivate unless they get the gps shizz fixed. I do quite like the captivate's potential tho. Just needs some attention from the (very awesome) devs. I may buy it again sometime down the road.
If you don't mind paying the $35 restocking fee for returning it before the 30 days, it's worth playing around with it.
You'll be in for a shocker when you switch.. there isn't much ROM development going on (yet) That's why I still have my N1

Cappy dilemma

OK, I've had my Captivate for 3 weeks now and while I really like it, I have a major decision to make before my window to return it closes. Coming from a WinMo Tilt 2 I was somewhat put off by it not being as easy to mod, but I can live with that. I bought it mainly because of Samsung's promise to upgrade it to Froyo. Looks like that was a mistake. I'm willing to root it to remove the bloat and allow sideloading, but I haven't yet felt comfortable to think about a custom ROM. Not sure I ever will as it is much different from doing the same on a WinMo phone. The biggest gripe I have, though, is the GPS performance. I've had both ends of the spectrum as far as getting locks with different programs, insode and outside, and lost lock several times while navigating in the car, both here in Cali and in Florida. I mountain bike and use my phone to track my rides, so GPS is important to me. My Tilt worked excellently in that regard.
So, do I keep it and just learn to live with it, even though it looks like AT$T will have some really nice Android offerings in the near future, or do I cut my losses (about $100 worth of Cappy accessories I already purchased) and return it before my 30 days are up? I like the form factor, the performance, the way it plays my converted movies and all the apps available for it, but the crappy GPS and dismal battery life are really starting to bug me. What say you, XDA community?
Honestly I'd just bite the bullet & return it. Using Phoenix rom you could have great GPS but there's really gonna be some better **** coming out. That's what ID do.

Return it, and stick to old phone. There are couple of good phones lined up to be released within the end of first quarter '11.
sure would miss an active member who knows what he's talking about in the captivate sub
I just seen in yahoos homepage about att new phones announced at the CES show, check it out, the one that has my interest is the"samsung infuse 4g" search to see photos if it, looks like captivate but bigger, I know why samsung or att hasn't released 2.2 because looks like they just moved on. Features include: 4.5 inch super omled screen, 8mp camera with 1.3mp front having camera, 1.2 ghz hummingbird processor, 2.2 froyo upgradeable to 2.3 "so they say unless they just move on again with a new phone" up to a 48gb sd card. And running hspda or 3g+, but att is calling this 4g. I have this on my cappy now with doc v7 rom now and it is faster than 3g.
I would just wait, they also announced others, check the site.
Sent from my CAPPY using Xda app!
Thanks for the input, guys. Well, I decided to keep the Cappy. Here's why: I only paid $49 for it on upgrade. The newer batch of Android phones will not see that kind of pricing for at least 6 months, likely longer. I spoke to an AT$T rep and she assured me that they are committed to providing the promised Froyo update ASAP. No time frame, but it will happen. My biggest complaint is with the GPS and I have done some things to improve it, at least outdoors, so I think I can live with it for my mountain bike excursions. I rarely use it for in-car navigation. Was more of a novelty while I was visiting Florida over the holidays.
So, thanks again to all that responded and XDA in general. I'm going to root my Cappy and remove the bloat in the next few days. Oh, and my 1800mah battery came yesterday and I'm currently conditioning it to see if it has any benefit over stock. Will post in that thread.
Return it. I wish i had... They promised me the Froyo update asap back in august when i bought the phone. i made a HUGE mistake buying this phone. i HATE AT&T

Flash a Froyo ROM and apply Da_G's GPS fix (if it's not built in to the ROM). You won't regret it.
Actually, if you wait a day or so, you'll be able to flash a bone-stock Captivate Froyo ROM from Rogers.
I just can't go back to my Tilt 2. I loved that phone, but it feels like a dinosaur, now. What if I do wipe the Cappy and return it? When I get another Android phone would I be able to download all my paid apps from Market without having to repurchase them? Is Market activity phone or user specific?

When I lost my Captivate on the Haul road and was sent a new one, all my paid apps popped up in the Market ready for installation as soon as I'd set up my Google account. So I think you're right.
It astonishes me how many people bought this phone based on the promise of Froyo. It's not like Froyo is so much better than Eclair, and it's not like the phone is a worthless POS without Froyo.

Which is why I'm willing to keep it. I am always amazed at the people who get so bummed when a new phone comes out as if it rendered their current phone inoperative. You're right that Froyo isn't a big deal, but a better working GPS and Flash support are desirable features. Samsung and AT$T just need to follow through on their promise of the update. If they don't, I'll still be happy with the phone, but it will definitely be the last Samsung product I'll buy. I stopped buying their HDTVs when the last one took a dump and I couldn't get warranty service.
You could also exchange it for a new one based on the poor GPS performance. I mean if it doesn't work right, they should exchange it with no questios asked right? Since it seems that the GPS issue is hit and miss with these phone, you may get one that works good right out of the box.
I went to the warranty center this past weekend and exchanged my Captivate for another one because of the GPS and a couple of shutdowns over the last 2 1/2 mos and the replacement I got has much improved GPS.
I've actually got my GPS dialed in and working pretty well right now.
Should have returned it. At&t has been bs'ing us on the froyo update since Google announced it. I'm enjoying my Phoenix rom but I wish I had the real deal. I'll be buying the motorolla with that duel core when it drops

Glad to hear that.
I would keep it considering how much you got it for. I mean, $49 is a good deal for this phone even with its issues. When I got mine, I paid the same for a refurb.
Hope I can sell my captivate for a decent price and upgrade to the new motorola or htc phone relatively cheaply. I love this phone, but I hate it at the same time. Will be nice to not have to worry about lagfixes, scetchy gps, and updates that take damn near forever. Main thing I will miss is of course the samoled screen.

Yea good luck with trying to sell it... at least here on XDA.
Might be luckier if you eBay/Craigs List it and hope some poor sap is willing to pay for it.
The whole Galaxy S line has a horrible reputation now - even the Nexus S!
I was hoping to trade for an AT&T Nexus... but A) they wouldn't take it as a trade and B) they wanted cash to go along with it.
Meh - I'll be keeping this phone till it pukes and then upgrade when the year comes up. At this point I don't care if AT&T ever releases a true Froyo update.

Would be there no Galaxy S sequential for AT&T?

I mean, we would get Infuse 4G in this spring. However that is not Galaxy S 2, just overclocked Captivate with better screen. Rumors confirmed that new Galaxy S series will come with Orion processor that is duelcore hummingbird. I know android OS and apps are not optimized to duel core so it could be useless battery hog until it get honeycomb.
But most concerning point is Infuse 4G will come with froyo and take time forever to get gingerbread, it is really dealbeaker. Also Infuse 4G will have no international brother like i9000 which is our ROM source.
Should I end up contract to AT&T and move on other carrier?
Given Galaxy S2 is still under tight wrap waiting to be announced at MWC, it is too early to talk about whether or not AT&T will get it.
Officially, Galaxy S2 does not even exit. So how do you know AT&T won't get it.
So far, the only Android OS I saw that mentioned dual-core support is HoneyComb (3.0) which is only for tablet. Gingerbread does not support dual core. So, having a dual core phone right now is quite useless, the other half will just stay unused.
Go to t-mobile and quit samsuck completely. AT&T is terrible with Android support, and Samsuck.....well......they suck. That is unless you want your phone to be a statistic in the Samsuck fragmentation universe.

QF the muther******* T!
there are rumors of the nexus s coming for at&t.
engadget dot com/2011/01/27/nexus-s-coming-in-a-new-atandt-flavor/
and at&t itself has said that this year they'll be bringing a lot of top end android phones (not gimping them to make iphone look superior). a good side-effect of them losing iphone exclusivity.
i'd wait for feb14-17 for the mobile world conference to get a better idea of which phones are coming.
Personally, the Captivate is the last Samsung product I'll buy, and probably the last product I'll buy from A**. The way I was ripped off on this phone by the customer support will survive in my memory for AT LEAST the duration of this contract. I don't care WHAT Samsung comes up with.

I'm with you on that. Samsuck is dead to me. As soon as the Atrix or Optimus 2X hits AT&T I'm ditching my Captivate immediately.
I would like to leave AT&T too, but where I live, they have the best 3G speeds. With HSDPA/HSUPA enabled I get 2Mb down/1.5 Mb up. Verizon here cant touch that. Everybody at work has VZW and they get about 700kb up and down.

Here, here!
Unless it's the Nexus S, don't buy a Samsung anything. You'll regret it.
A nrw OS does not fix a broken phone. Even with the best OS, the bad phones turn themselves off and the GPS stays flakey. Thats not to mention that you're risking your warantee and the folks that bricked their phones upgrading. I have changed ROMS but for a top of the line smart phone, you shouldn't have to.

Very Good Phone
im far away from ATT so i dont know how its support works. For me the Captivate is the best phone ive ever had. I dont have any complains about it. And is even better with the great roms available here on XDA. iphone 4 lovers hate me when i show them all the things i can do... Sure there probably are better phones... but i dont see a reason to change mine for a while.
This will be my last Samsung as well. Thankfully Andromeda 1.0 makes it a usable phone to get me through this contract.
Yeah, the GPS leaves a lot to be desired. I've managed to finally get a ROM/Kernel/Modem combination that is stable, and can keep a GPS lock.
The only other Samsung phone I had prior to this was the WinMo Blackjack. Back then I didn't know enough about smartphones to be aware that it was horrible.
But, hey, I got my Captivate for free. Christmas present from my girlfriend, and she only paid $70 for the phone, screen protector, and 16 gig microSD card. So, I can't complain too much.
I am grateful to the Captivate, though. Without it, I wouldn't have learned about Android, and what true customization is all about.

Honestly not hating on you dude, but you should buy an IPhone. If you want something that works out of the box and you don't have to mess with that's the way to go. EVERY Android handset out there requires tweaking to some degree or another. And every other manufacturer has their own issues.
Samsung has a bit of a track record of not updating and now the GPS issues. But Motorola gets you a locked boot loader. LG currently doesn't have a real competitor in the US yet. HTC just took the EVO and rebadged it for Verizon and AT&T, not to mention the Desire HD for the rest of the world.
I'm not overly thrilled with the Captivate. It's a great phone, but the lack of support from Samsung (cmon, at&t may have it's faults but they have little to do with the lack of an update or support, they just sell phones, my opinion of course.) The biggest issue for me is GPS. I do have a standalone unit for trips and such but I really like having a phone that can get me from A to B easily. I don't carry my GPS everywhere, I do carry my phone.
Would I buy another Samsung Device?? Maybe. I'd certainly wait a few weeks after it was released to see what the main issues are. As far as software, I don't care. I flash ROM's more than I change my...... Well you get my point.
if att gets the galaxy 2? it will hit in the fall of course, they will milk the atrix ,infuse and the htc dealio for all they are worth. sad reaalllymost likely increase data charges for no reason than renaming their 3g network....sounds like the goverment at work here, we need bigger goverment to counteract this maddddnesss

Gotta agree with you there. When I switched from my iPhone to the Cappy, I'll admit I went through some withdrawal basically because a comparable cydia/rock alternative wasn't readily available (I really missed the streaming video and content apps...the ones that worked anyway :/ ). The work the devs are doing within the XDA community breathed new life and excitement into my cappy. I think in time, the overall developement scene for Android will rival and (hopefully) surpass what the iPhone community has accomplished.

Agreed. Before I got my Captivate, I was expecting the same Cydia/Installer combo to show up a couple minutes after I got it.
Honestly, Market serves as an undermined Cydia, but iPhone does have the better dev base by a landslide and that's why it's more popular, at least for devs and the like.
If Captivate had the dev base iPhone does, I wouldn't need anything else. Then again, I don't think anyone else would, either.

GS2 is not even out and GS3 coming in fall?? wtf...

If true thats ridiculous....the GS2 isn't even out yet! Can we wait at least a year and a half for a successor?? I'd imagine many wont be pleased is thats true...
I want to get a new phone but its crazy how so may phones come out so quickly and out-dating the other...I feel like just getting the Iphone 5 and stick with that, at least there wont be a million choices like with android and get tempted to keep switching back and forth, I swear with android its like a new phone thats better comes out shortly after one phone comes out.
Anyone think they know what IP5 might have? Dual Core, better screen, different design, better Camera?

Note how that article says samsung is thinking of a 2ghz device sometime next year, NOT this year, then there is speculation that the device is the SGS3, and then there is someone doing even further speculation that it could come out this fall, even though we know this is impossible partly because the SGS2 variant for verizon probably won't be out until a couple months before then at best based on current news. This is just overspeculation leading to insane predictions. SGS3 in Jan or Feb next year is possible though if Tegra 3 is out by then though, as samsung will want to compete, but that's just my own speculation and have no factual data backing it as well.
Meh, I like having the highest tiered phone as much as the next guy so something new/awesome coming out right after I got the past top tier phone is a little irritating, however having new things out is always great.
I can't see me needing anything stronger than the Galaxy S 2; I would love a 4.5 inch screen but 4.3 and the specs it has is great.
The Wonders of competition I'd rather they were doing this than have technology move very slowly, Just pick a phone you like, Not slow, looks good, nice screen, decent camera and then stick with it

Agreed. You can drive yourself insane waiting for the perfect device. Pick whatever suits you best when you need a new phone and stick with it for a year or two or until you genuinely need more power.
I stuck with my mt3g as long as I could. Now I have the mt4g and love it! I don't anticipate outgrowing it any time soon.

Seriously this is getting annoying. How am I suppose to keep up with that... They need to invest in their current devices instead of shooting out new ones every half a year...

I totally agree with is statement, its getting so you cant even appreciate te phone you waited for. I have a friend who literally buys every verizon phone as it comes out and sells his current phone everytime. I personally will be buying e sensation and thats it for atleast s year.

It is pretty frustrating :S Especially for Canadians, we get locked in 3 year contracts, not 2
the grass is always greener.
Well you're not alone. It's not like software/graphics wise, it's keeping up with the hardware. I don't really see any game that's pushing the tegra devices to their limit, or even power vr sgx540.
So point being, even if hardware improves dramatically next year, last year's phones will still keep up with what today demands.
sgs2 is already out, just not in north america yet.

It's not true.
If it were true, IT Portal wouldn't have put a question mark on the end of the headline.
But you visited the page, and probably saw some ads. IT Portal got advertising revenue. A few thousand more like you, and IT Portal sustains its business.
Who cares about the truth when you've a business to run?

Lulzy.
I don't see a problem with SGS the Third coming out next year... one solid leap forward every year sounds perfectly legitimate to me so long as the tech and improvements are keeping pace.
Yeah. I'm a little knicked that I got a great phone (HTC HD2) released here in the US a little over a year ago, then the next thing I know it's EVO with Android, no Android for the HD2 (still the best hardware out there) and no Windows Phone 7 upgrade for the HD2 either from TMO. Now I'm trolling XDA and trying to put together the info and ability (and trying to work up the balls) to set up my HD2 on a dual boot with Android on SD and WinMo 6.5 NAND.
It gets old.
wth!!! how look that? i think really better than GS2
