How to replace a broken digitizer ?

Hello,
I'm sure there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't find it.
I've managed to break my Display, or rather the glass of the digitizer. Everything works, but I'm tired of the web-spider design.
Replacements are cheap to get, but is it possible to install it by myself?
I'm quite the adventurous type of guy, but without any guide it will be too difficult, right?
Can you post a link for me ? Pictures ??
Many thx
Here u go.Hope it helps.I also need to change the digitizer, but im not sure if I should do it myself.Because I have 0 minutes of experience .Its not broken just badly scratched.

Thanx,
at the same time I also received a pdf copy of the original (confident) HTC manual. I hope with both instructions I will succeed.
(If not, the new Diamond 2 is out)
The Russian Pics are fine, lets see if anything/-one can translate the page

I-Mate 9502 Disassembly Instructions Required

Does anyone have photo or written instructions on how to take the i-Mate 9502 apart? My keyboard backlight appears to have a loose connection. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks again, and happy new year to all.
I've gotten to the point where I can remove the torx screw that is hidden behind the stylus, and that releases the rear plate with the speaker and camera. However, I haven't removed it completely, just cracked it open a bit, because I don't know where the rest of the clips are and I don't want to break any of them off.
I'll keep searching online for any suggestions. I ordered up some tools to properly open the body, I might give it a go once they arrive.
Any tips would be appreciated.

O2 XDA Orbit 2 Disassembly Guide

Can anyone help and point me in the direction of a dis-assembly guide for the O2 Orbit 2. I have searched the web and on this forum but no joy, also I have got a screen from Hong Kong but am now worried that it still might not be compatible.
I have the guide for the HTC Polaris but there are subtle differences and at the moment I cant get the back off it. I have all of the tools and have removed 3 screws across the middle of the back above where the battery is housed and the two screws holding the sim card holder in place but when I try to prise the back of it seems to be stuck near the camera.
A guide or video would be most helpful.
Regards
Midjet
I was looking for the same information for almost 6months before giving up! I also had removed the 3 torx and followed the instructions for the Touch Cruise, only to find the interior housing was slightly different. Not wanting to damage anything, I opted to send the phone off for repair. There is a company in London called SPS Mobile, www.gsm-support.co.uk. They charge around £40 for a replacement screen and fitting. You can either send it in, or take it to the shop and have it done while you wait. With you already having the screen itself, i'm guessing it would cost half that.
Hope this was of some help to you.
I managed it in the end there were two lugs near the camera if pressure was applied from the top end of the phone and from the battery edge it eventually popped open. Inside was similar enouch to the guide for me to get the screen out.
I replaced the touch-screen on mine a couple of days ago and followed the Polaris service manual:

Wow! fantastic detailed guide...
do you have also one like it for HTC P3300 Artemis?

[Q] Help with screen replacement

Hello there
I have a little problem and thought to give it a try here.
I recently bought a chinese tablet a JXD S9000 and ofcourse clumsy as i am
i broke the touch screen.
The replacement i received from my supplier (online so i cant really take it "back") had a different size flexible ribbon cable.
I've sent them tons of emails and fotos and they say that they can't find the problem and i should take it to my local customer service.
Thats the problem we don't have one in my city and i have to do it by my self so any help is welcome.
Sorry for the much talk but its my first post.
I've included a picture to understand what am i talking about

Thanks in advance

anyone else got their phone wet and :( ?

I dropped my magic 2 in water for a microsecond and it hasn't started up again Anyone experience this and know what would most likely have happened and if repairable?
I was thinking of asking Huawei to take a look at it given they have an office local to me but asking first on the off-chance someone has cracked one open. And as a warning to others not to dare let there's near water
:crying:
Honestly, while some very nice aspects to this phone - especially the screen and the Dex-like functionality which is very impressive the first time - the lack of Assistant support, inability to modify much, along with the weight of it and mediocre camera, I don't mind going back to my dinged-up Note FE. But it would be nice to fix it if possible.
You need to be sure is dry inside before power on. Just wait some days and then try it.
If u already did start it may some parts are broken and u should visit Huawei Center and they may have a look at it. Maxbe its easy fixable...
