Sony Xplod and Froyo - Nexus One Accessories

has any one managed to get bluetooth voice dialing working with FROYO and Sony Xplod car system?

Yes
Is the short answer.. What problems are you experiencing? i suspect you need to re-pair the device. to do this first unpair your BT device on your phone by pressing it and holding it. Then on your xplod, long hold the BT button until it disappears.. Then long hold the button again, it will appear, but keep it pressed.. wait until the BT icon flashes... Now on your phone, turn on BT and scan for new devices.. Once you see the xplod, just connect and pair.. No problem no?

When I press the phone knob on car system, it is expected that N1 activates the voice dialer. Mine does not. Incoming calls work great, but FROYO now supports voice dialer for outgoing calls but doesn't play nice with sony.
I will try to re-pair it and see if it solves the problem. Thanks!

automatic connections headset

an issue;
under wm5 my wizard automatically connected with my headset when it was in the neighborhood. since i use the roms with wm6 it's no longer automatic and must turn off and on the headset for a connection....
is there a solution.....
I have noticed this problem, too, with WM6. Couple things I have found that work are:
Turning on the bluetooth on your phone, before you turn the headset on. My Jawbone Aliph will only connect automatically if the bluetooth on the phone is already turned on, before I turn it on.
Double pressing or holding down a button on your headset. With my BlueAnt Car Kit, if I double press the the answer button, it automatically connects to my phone, which is way easier then having to go on my phone and turn on the headset from the bluetooth settings. Just try variations of double pressing or pressing and holding to see if that creates an automatic connection.
Hope that helps!

Volume muted after connecting A2DP

Here's another odd little niggly thing I've found about my Touch Pro.
I normally have the volume at about 90% all the time. When I get in my truck and the phone automatically connects to my bluetooth stereo, the volume on the phone suddenly changes to mute. I then have to up the volume back to it's normal level.
The volume will stay put from then on, even after disconnecting and reconnecting the A2DP....
...except.....
...if I have to reboot the phone for some reason. After the reboot, the first time it connects to the bluetooth stereo it mutes again.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Same problem with my elife e8

Honor 6x Microphone Muted in Bluetooth phone call

I love my Honor 6x, except I have this problem:
When I am in my car and my car's bluetooth is connected, and a phone call comes in, the car's bluetooth speaker rings the bell, and when I pickup (using the button on my car), I can hear the other party, but they can't hear me.
The bluetooth volume is at max. The car's bluetooth mute is unmuted.
This happens in all my cars so it is not the car's problem.
When this happens, switching back to earpiece or phone's speaker doesn't make any difference. The other party continues to not hear me.
Is there any place in the phone where I can mute/unmute bluetooth?
No, the bluetooth mute on the phone application does not have mute on. The calls work fine as long as I am not on bluetooth.
I have been trying to boot into Safe Mode to see if any app is causing it, but so far I haven't had any luck. I have tried the volume down method to no avail. The Honor 6x does not give any options when pressing Restart or Power Off to choose to boot in Safe Mode in next cycle.
Any help will be appreciated.
I have the same issue without any solution for the moment. Anybody have an Idea ? Thanks

Hi liko,
I was able to figure out my issue. It was an app.
I was able to boot it into SAFE MODE. In SAFE MODE the phone doesn't load the 3rd party apps, so you can find out if it is an app causing it or something wrong with your phone. Here are the instructions.
WARNING: all the icons will be shuffled around when you will come out of the SAFE MODE.
1. Power Off
2. Press the power button to turn ON.
3. Wait for honor logo to vanish.
4. As soon as it vanishes, press and hold the volume down button.
5. It should boot up in Safe Mode. You should see SAFE MODE written at the bottom left corner.
The key is to press and hold the volume down button AFTER the honor logo vanishes.
To come out of SAFE MODE simply restart your phone.
Thanks a lot for your answer shah123 but I will have the same issue un safe mod. I have a galaxy Gear s3 and the other can hear me when I use my Watch... And other phones work perfectly un my car... It's a real problem for me

Problem with headset buttons

I am using a JBL headset with single button to answer calls. The problem is the button is functional for roughly 15 seconds after plugging in and does nothing after that.I can play/skip music in this time span only. The buttons works once again if I replug it.The headset works normally in other phones.Currenly I am in nougat. The problem is persistent since marshmallow..Thanks in advance
Maybe try turning on the smart headset controls in settings? Just an assumption though
Tried already.didnt help.Does anyone else has the same problem.BTW thanks for spending your time...

Phone keeps going in and out of call mode -Not on call!

Hi guys,
I noticed a week ago that while listening to a WhatsApp voice message I was unable to change the volume using the volume rocker.
I thought this very strange. Then while in the car listening to a podcast via Bluetooth I noticed the audio would stop, then maybe 5 minutes later start again by itself, then stop again (sometimes for ages) then start again.
I've now noticed that the audio was switching to in call volume ( active and green) during the times the audio stopped. As soon as it decided I wasn't on a call it would then default back to media volume and things would start playing again.
So my bloody phone thinks either a call is coming through or I'm on a call yet neither of these things are true.
Very very very frustrating!
Has anybody experienced this? What could this be and how can it be fixed?
Thanks
Bump

I am still not able to understand your issue clearly but could it be bad proximity sensor?
Thanks for replying.
My phone has "in call volume" active sometimes even though not on a call. When you press the volume rocker on the side it is active (highlighted in blue) when it shouldn't be.
When active it cuts out all other media.
Then sometimes it's normal where in call volume not showing (not active) when you press the volume rocker so I can play media, (media volume shows active when pressing volume rocker) just the way it should be.
It's totally random.
I'd that clearer?
Thanks!

Do you have smart connect installed? In past I have experience something similar while using smart connect.
Like sometime it acts as if headphone is connected when it's not and you don't hear anything when you play media.
I haven't, and I don't know what smart connect is but my issue isn't it thinking headphone connected, it thinks it's on a phone call
