Do you know any good one?
i managed to get a nexus case for this, but it doesnt protect from scratch if it fell...so i would like a hard case !
i had an iphone for over a year it was brand new after all that time because of a hard case + screen protector
and a good screen protector too
i bought some cheap crap at ebay its horrible (like 1€ each)

I'll wait and see what they say, i explained why i wanted a refund so will see.
Sent three requests that the order be cancelled which were obviously ignored as i have now received an out of stock email...
They emailled me last night to say that these cases are definitely for the Desire but they didnt have a stock photo, and that stock will be arriving around the 5th of May - its been delayed for obvious reasons.
yes, I got a mail saying out till the 2nd May. Argh.

But the photo is not a HTC desire!
I got told out of stock till May 3rd. But definitely Desire specific (not Google Nexus desipte the picture not updated yet).
I had one of the crystal cases turn up in the post today from whitefeatherderby on eBay. Pretty pleased with it though I am bothered how slippery it will be on tables, etc. I also have one coming from Hong Kong too but realised after I ordered it that it's a purple one...

First off, yes - I used the search feature. No thread actually asks whats the best screen protector is?
I'm looking for one that's easy to apply. HOPEFULLY not liquid based. The static cling ones seem to work well...
Either way, liquid-based or static, I'm just looking for the best feeling screen protector that does it job. Any links, personal experience, etc, would be great!
I've seen a few on eBay but I've heard that they don't have the proper edges to the screen and such... Like, it doesn't fit with the contours of the screen, how the Sensation's screen curves.
Anyways, TLDR: looking for the best screen protector based on personal experience.
I can tell you one NOT to get - the Martin Fields Screen Protector. Terrible fit
The best protectors I have used so far are the official htc ones. Great fit. But hard to get the corners down. i soaked them in water as it makes it easier to align and apply.
I just installed my phantomskinz. Got a few little bubbles and is a bit hazy. Need to wait a day or two before they go away, hopefully.
I will go for the official htc ones. Very smooth! But are fingerprint magnets.
I've got some official ones on order at the mo, hopefully arrive 2moro. When you say soak them in water do you mean give them a quick dunk or a proper soak?

I gave it a proper soak in warm water to soften it up to try and mould it to the corners.
It doesn't matter really. If you have lint stuck on the protector, you can wash it in soapy water and re-apply. Once applied you will notice some haziness due to the soap. It goes away after a day or two.
The hTC ones seem to be the favorite..
the only place i've found in the US to purchase them are expansys-usa.com and they are out of stock until August...
Anyone else know where we can purchase these??

I also paid only $3 for shipping to Canada. It's the cheapest available option, but I don't think it was selected by default. I had to select the $3 option.

Haha yeah, I thought somebody would get mixed up, I should have edited it. I'm just surprised because shipping is usually expensive were I live no matter the weight of the item.

You can fold the flip cover to the back of the phone. You don't need to necessary leave it hanging when using the phone.
I'll be getting the white one next week and got the cheap expedited shipping like some people did here. Looking forward to getting this case. Seems to have everything that I wanted.

I originally ordered a silver one but changed my mind and asked the seller to change it to black. I don't know if the seller got the message in time before shipping it so I'll get either one Which is fine because I'm 50/50 on which one I want.

I am a bit suspicious of the ebay seller you listed because of the price. The retail is $25 and they are selling it for $9? That's too good a deal. Will be very interested to see what you get. If it's good maybe I'll pickup one, just don't tell my wife... I only have 5 cases, need an even half dozen.

i've a hard time consider which colour to get, as all looks gd xcept for the pink..

Mine was shipped the next day and China Post say it has been received

I bought a cheep bumper (not the same one) and I was very disappointed to realize the camera still sticks out far enough to get scratched whe I lay it on its back.
Please let us know in your review if it allows the camera bezel/lense cover to contact the surface of whatever it is laying on.

FYI, most aftermarket back covers have a very small lip on it to protect the camera lens. It's really small <1mm but it's there:

I did the same thing. I'm hoping mine gets delivered by next week. I don't think I've been this excited about a case in awhile.

Forgot to mention my only concern is that not all TPU button covers work good. I've had some cheap TPU cases where the buttons were so horrible the case was not usable.
If i had to guess, the buttons on this case look plastic like the ones on the SGP Neo Hybrid. If you watch the Youtube video you can see the inside of the buttons. Usually the problem with plastic buttons is over-responsiveness if anything.
