DON'T BE ROUND, BE SQUARE
Not forgetting all those that make this clock possible. Dena, jaguaralani, Santod, and others whose work I study to learn modding. And also to Zimaia, for the wonderful clock hands.
Presenting my square clock. Have fun.

While looking over at the request section in another forum, I saw an led flashlight control app that had a Beautiful Widget style skin over it. I thought this looked awesome and it made me purchase Beautiful Widgets so I could have all matching toggles.
I made a couple requests on that forum for other apps to be skinned, but they don't get the traffic this forum gets. So I wanted to see if any XDA members have the photoshop skills and Droid hacking know-how to skin another couple widgets in the Beautiful Widgets toggle style?
I would really appreciate it and would be happy to donate for your time and effort.
I use Today's Time on my home page in Ultimate Launch and have been trying to create clock face skins. The installed skins are in .bmp format. The problem I'm having is that each one of my clock face backgrounds loose the transparency needed to show up as a round object. Instead the white "background" square is displayed when installed. I use Photoshop CS3 to make the clock faces. Any help?
Moved as not theme release.
[B[/B]Hi everyone. I have been searching for a simple yet elegant clock for the CHT2 (widget). Many I like, but I cannot get the fonts the way I want them.
I have the perfect lockscreen with the text, size, including date exactly how I want it.
Is anybody willing to make this into a widget for CHT2 so I (and others) can have it as on the today screen?
I have attached a pic, which I hope will help. If the attachment doesn't work, here is a link to a very similar style.
http://www.mobilitynews.net/2010/03/wp7s-lockscreen-fur-htc-hd2/
The details are as follows:
- Clock to have a leading zero eg: 08:12 (for am)
- Colon in the time - Preferrably flashing, but not necessary.
- Date to be centred underneath the clock and have long or short date format, not fussed.
- Text is: HelveticaNeue LT 35 Thin
- Time text size: 60, date text size: 20
- Colour: white with very thin black border (although I don't care about the border, plain white is ok)
Obviously being a widget it can be moved around, and resized.
I am happy to buy you a beer if you are willing to create this.
If not, a very good tutorial on how to make your own clocl widget will be great.
Thank you all in advance, and I really hope someone is willing to make this. Can't wait.
If anyone here makes themes as a kind of hobby, or for fun, I would greatly appreciate a custom theme. I would like it to be for Go Launcher, and compatible with the latest version. Fully detailed would be nice.
The theme should be centered around Ancient Norse runes, the Elder Futhark. App icons could just be placed on top of flat, dark stones, maybe with some sort of inlay blending.
Colors should be mainly black and dark green. A little white for contrast in small areas may look nice, and make it pop.
Norse mythology stuff is acceptable, as long as it's accurate. Somehow incorporate all 24 rune symbols into the theme.
I wish I could design and code apps. I have a great idea for folks like myself. A rune-charm widget! Select 4 or 5 runes, to place in a 4x1 or 4x2 area on homescreen of your choice. That would be sick!
Anyways, I don't even know if the theme could be done, just thought I'd try asking.
you could always use UOT or Dsixda and make your own theme. It takes some reading but it will allow you to make it exactly how you want it. Even if someone else creates the theme it may not be exactly what you are looking for.
