My apologies if I'm creating a duplicate thread here but I did a quick search and couldn't find anything similar otherwise I'dve just posted my work in there.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is bored of looking at grey tiles on a black background when using TF3D so I figured why not make something a little more pleasing to the eye that still fits with the TF3D layout.
I couldn't think of anything more pleasing to my eyes than the delectable Miss Jessica Simpson so I thought I'd start there!
Here's a couple of screenshots to show how it looks and of course the wallpaper file itself
Please feel free to add your own contributions!
P.S. I know there's a cab file out there to make the clock semi-transparent and I could have used a bigger picture, but the numbers would still cover most of the good bits of the picture IMO that's why I formatted it like this.
Can anyone post/updoad links to download minimalist text icons that I can use? I dont like all the colors of icons when Im trying to really simplify and make it look clean.
I have a few from an old EVO theme I had (but theres only 133). Or if there are higher res icons?
Simple icon creator in market will do the job for you. Very easy to use.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a minimalistic black and white or black and light grey theme for ANY ROM.
I have zero graphical abilities so if anyone wants to take this up, it would be really appreciated.
Looking for a black background based theme with a numerically written battery without any background image (essentially the CM battery).
To make it super epic, if the theme was for devices set to 160 DPI, it would totally be awesome, if not then oh well.
Do It Yourself
If you know exactly what you want then you should try UOT Kitchen. Just Read the "How To" section first and you will be on your way to developing your first theme. Be sure to extract the proper files(SystemUI.apk and (framework-res.apk) from the ROM you are running to a familiar folder BEFORE you select "upload files" near the end of the process. This will save you time and will keep the files readily handy for your next cook. Regernate previews after each mod selection to see how it is looking. Search the forums for more on this subject, good luck! You can do this.
I just got a live wallpaper and Ive seen youtube videos of it where the user would scroll between the pages and the picture in the background would move, however my one just stays in the same background it wont move left or right. Its the same wallpaper how do I get it to move?
You cannot use features with multiple pages for the background using the Sense launcher (rosie) -
- you have to install an aftermarket launcher.
The way Rosie (Sense launcher) works with the background image is weird, so you also can't use things like Multi picture live wallpaper that I love on my Nook Color, and have set up on the one I gave to my lady with all of her pictures.

Yea, she is all about care bears, so I made her a personalized care-bear edition nook color for her birthday.
Custom icons, each home-screen to a different folder for wallpapers, the system font is in the actual care bear font (which I had to make from scratch because the ones available on the internet suck)...custom boot animation, etc..etc... it was a fun project, and got her to stop borrowing my nook color since she has her own.
She also got a taste of what the dev work i'm doing actually turns into, so she's more willing to give me dev time - all in all it was a big success and a lot of fun.
It really hit home when she had a chance to use someone else's nook color recently that was factory stock - lol - she was like "I couldn't do ANYTHING with it".
haha nice
Good afternoon
Im trying to find a launcher that has a shadow option for the icons. I've found one icon pack that has shadows built into the design but I don't like the icons. I'd like to be able to have shadows for any icon pack.
Is there a launcher that has this feature. I don't like flat icons with no shadows. I've tried installing an app that is supposed to do this but it doesn't work.
Please help
Thank you

Does anyone remember ios6. I loved my first iPhone and the standout feature for me was the icons and shadows they really made the screen feel good. I'm shocked that I can't find a simple option for shadows in any launcher anywhere. There must be a launcher / Rom etc that has this feature

Hi.
That is for the label only. It's not for the icons.
I'm tempted to buy an iPhone 4s just to get shadows on my icons lol. Still searching launchers.
My s9 looks ok but I want more icon packs with shadows built in.
Any ideas for icon packs that have shadows in the design so they dont look flat
Have included a screenshot of what my phone looks like at moment.

Someone please there must be a solution to this seamingly simple problem. In a world where android phones are so customisable it would appear this simple feature isn't included anywhere. I'm still going through endless lists of launchers. Installing trying deleting over and over. I've emailed developers with no responses.
Please help
Thank you
Another new launcher called launcher 2018 saying drop shadows which was just an icon pack not a drop shadow option for any icon pack. Grrrrrr
Why can't I find an option for drop shadows on an android phone. Why is everyone so obsessed with flat icons... Grouch n hiss n growl I make while I search I whisper under my breath... Omg for f sake
This can't be happening. Its 2018 nearly 2019 someone please tell me where to look
Thanks
Can someone please help. This is afterall the best place for answers. I feel like I'm being ignored. I have autism and this is very important to me.. Please please help
Anyone?
Try using adapticons.
You can make your own icon pack with shadows out of existing icon packs or icons.
Iconzy is another useful tool to assist
Thanks but none of these are of any use. Applying a shadow in the icon doesn't give the icon itself a drop shadow. I'm looking for a feature in a launcher that does this or a tweak app that provides this feature. There must be a feature that does this somewhere in the android world. I refuse to believe we have to live in a world with flat icons. If you can remember back to the days of the original ios that is what I'm looking for. I don't want a drop shadow on the icon I want it behind the icon to give the illusion that they are a few mm away from the back ground regardless what background it is. If it were plain white you would see the drop shadow.
Thank you for your suggestion but I've been through them a while ago and dismissed them as they were not capable of doing what I wanted.
I continue the holy grail of drop shadows on android

I hope you are still following this thread, just like you, I don't like flat icon and want to turn back to older days, when we use icons like original ios. If you find them, please let me know. Cheers,
