If you like customizing your Android smartphone or tablet, then along with changing your wallpaper, using a custom icon pack is one of the easiest ways to give your device a fresh new look.
Here are the top new and updated icon packs right now available on google play.
Black Light
Okay, we don't know who in their rightful mind would use this one as a daily driver, but one thing is certain - this icon pack is a thoughtfully made one.
Minimal Colors
Just as you might imply from its name, Minimal Colors is a simplistic but quite attractive icon pack that employs neat color palette. All of the icons are circular, which is quite trendy these days.
Mation
With Mation, you get over 1,000 icons at your disposal. All of these are excellent ones, subjectively speaking. There's also a host of cloud-based wallpapers, dynamic calendar icons, and an icon request tool.
Mambo
Over 800 faded icons will be at your disposal if you cave in and shell out one dollar for Mambo. It supports 26 launchers as well as live wallpaper app extraordinaire Muzei. A great find!
Graby
There are some 1,850 icons in Graby. All of these are round-shaped and will fit any home screen that's emphasizing on this design philosophy.

I am going to start working on a CM-Froyo-Theme for when Google finally decides to drop the source and we get some blue bubblegum flavored Froyo.
I want some community suggestions as to what you would like to see in it.
Tell me about colors, Icons, etc.
Notification Bar?
Launcher?
Just post it. I am going to start working next week as school is over for me. I will incorporate the best Ideas from you guys.
- Black notification bar with KSpec like battery icon, maybe in Cyan, and with the battery percentage remaining in the center.
- Black and shiny pop up prompt windows and notification pull down.
- 7 space power control widget with cyan colored dots (instead of bars)
- I like launcher Pro, but have not tried ADW and that seems to be fairly popular. I personally like the non-3D app drawer. 5x4 icon setup on home screen is nice too.
- I like when you pull down the notification bar that is says notifications at the bottom.
- Maybe some transparent widgets
- Lots of wallpaper choices
- Lots of ringtones etc.
Looking forward to see what you come up with, even if it doesn't include any of the above.
Also a launcher pro fan. Some other guy has some super nice dialer that is a simplistic white which I really liked. It is on a desire rom. I am a fan of the more minimalistic kind of themes personally.
Glad to see you are starting early. Will try to add some actually useful comments tomorrow when I get up...
Been browsing around here and following the skyraider and all of ID's threads and there was something I felt was missing from both the sense and vanilla roms. I spent a bunch of time on the regular android theming threads, and this is what I have created so far.
It's in no way a fully polished, and easily flashed or MM'd theme (i don't like the idea of using MM)
See the pictures below for what I've gotten to.
What it consists of:
LauncherPro Plus
Apps Organizer
SwitchPro
TAJM
BattStatt
Pure Calendar
Desktop Visualizer
MinimalText icons
LauncherPro icons (from their website)
Zegoe Font
Sweet Chicago skyline background
I used LauncherPro to get a more customizable screen layout and remove the notification bar. I also love that it lets me change the icons for the dock (and the swipe gestures are nice)
Apps Organizer condenses a lot of my used apps, and Apps Organizer lets you pick custom icons as well
I used to use extended controls and SMODA widget but i didnt like SMODA's colors, so i switched to SwitchPro because of its working 3g on/off (a must since I need my battery to last a full day while I'm on campus). You cant clearly make the buttons out on the bottom, but they are nearly invisible until i touch them and they become white. Might not be everyone's liking but I dont need to see them.
Pure Calendar was used since I rely on my calendar and gtasks, and it was transparent which is what I really wanted.
Here's where I could use some help
I would like to be able to change all app icons to grayscale without using MM. I realize this might mean replacing files within apks for programs which wont be entirely possible
I wish the text size for TAJM was customizable, its too small and I would like BattStatt and TAJM to better use the home screen real estate
Package this into something more people can use/ customize without having to download all of the apps seperately or even use the apps (flashable?)
Still need a new lock screen. I liked the rotary one but I dont think that will look as nice since it uses a gray transparent bg. If it could be fully transparent, just leaving the two buttons, and the music controls either be light gray for off and white for on, that would be awesome.
I'm open to ideas and criticisms, just spent a few hours this weekend trying to gather all I needed but if someone knows a better way I'd love to know.
If there is any interest in this, I could package up the icons and fonts (sorry can't do the apks since most are paid apps). Just need to collect the info for the creators so credit can be given.
Hey everyone. I've just finished making my first live wallpaper. It's completely free, and also fully customizable. Watch as beautiful, glowing shapes travel across your screen, and as they follow your finger to form interesting patterns. Customize the shapes from the selection presented in the settings menu and even use your own custom image as a shape! This wallpaper will surely spice up a previously static, bland home-screen.
Key Features:
- Very customizable, choose any color you want for the shapes, and choose any shape you want.
- Interactive. Shapes will respond to touch gestures.
- Beautiful. Live wallpaper glows underneath the shapes to create an entrancing effect.
Search "Glowtopia" on Google Play.
Thanks! I would greatly appreciate any feedback, advice, or tips.

Updates
Updated app to include more shapes, and added a pretty cool new background.
Updated UI and made it easier to use.
Okay, so here is the deal. I am looking for a Layers theme, that actually works on this phone with OrionOS, that uses pastel colors and a unique statusbar iconset. For those on CM13, a good comparison would be something akin to GentleUI. Alas, all of the nice candidates that I have found are either A) outside of my price range (being free) or B) don't work on my phone, or lastly C) Have weird inconsistencies that cause text readability issues. As such, any suggestions are now welcome.
This is the one I use.
I'd considered that but it is missing the most important part, unique status bar icons
I know I can use icon packs, but that doesn’t reskin all icons, also this trend is making its way to the quick toggles on pie.
Here’s my beef, theses icon frames make the icon smaller to fit within the fram, rather than the big beautiful and unique icons from nougat. Also, having the same frame around all icons makes them more difficult to distinguish from each other.
The setting has always been here to not have icon frames... let us have that choice. Why does everyone insist on copying Apple?
