Help! I think I may have bricked my hd2... after installing a taskbar download I restarted but it wouldn't get past the orange windows start up screen. Of course my laptop is being fixed so I can't hook up to usb currently...any fixes without? Regardless I need assistance.
Doesn't sound bricked to me, if it's still booting that far. Try performing a hard reset.
Also try posting this in the HD2 forums where you will probably get a more specific answer.

Hey guys!
While working on my PPC this weekend, I noticed that the system froze while just trying to open NYDITOT Virtual Display.
I tried doing a soft reset and after doing so the system freezes at the "Welcome to T-Mobile" bootup screen and it does not go into the OS (windows Mobile 2003 "Non-SE")
I tried pushing the soft reset button with the device OFF, without the battery, without the sim card, and nothing seems to work.
I cant even re-load the original ROM as Active Synch doesnt see the device due that I dont get into the OS.
Now luckely for me, T-mobile advised that i only had a 3 month warranty with them, which of course "expired" so i was hoping someone could suggest something that might help me resolve this problem.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

I updated to the official AT&T rom for the Tilt, but now im trying to load hardSPL and others with no success on Vista.!? Everytime it goes to install HardSPL, it hangs with a white screen after hearing the sound signaling a disconnect from activesync. When i try to flash, i lose the sync at 0% and get the communications error (262). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I feel like a [email protected]$$!!
You should direct this question to the Kaiser forum... since they would best be able to help you.
In my experience, when I have seen errors like this in the past, I would reccommend uninstalling activesync, rebooting your PC, then downloading activesync again from the Microslut site

It may also be worth finding an XP machine to do the flashing on.

This may not be the correct location so my apologies but here goes.
I downloaded the Blue Angle Windows 6 update (Helmi Windows Mobile 6 Professional RO) it started to run and check the phone, it started to load then the phone on the stand link but ALL went DEAD. I cannot restart the phone. I have tried a soft reset and a hard reset, both with NO luck. I have the Orange update ROM which would take it back but cannot get this to link and run in order to regain the operation of the phone. The phone is completely DEAD even the ON –OFF switch will not work. I have tried taking off the battery, this has no affect.
Just found data on the screen, at the top - the word "serial" and at the bottom " v2.072.
ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Complete newbie, i have been trawling xda-dev for 2 days and trying various solutions but im stuck, the phone is stuck at the red green blue screen, i have tried the hard reset and even managed to connect using the mtty software, the phone wont connect to active sync nor will it do anything else, i have flashed the phone several times and still the same dam screen its really annoying now, mem card removed still same issue, any help greatful
Did you search the forum already? Are you aware of the specialties attached to upgrading an Orange device? Did you follow the ROM (which?) specific descriptions?
To get support you should take the time to describe in detail where you started, what you did and where it failed. The end-result (RGB screen) can be reached by many paths.
The only way out for you is to re-load an Orange E650 Build and restart.
I was updating my phone from windows mobile 6.1 to one of Ryan Moguls 6.5 updates today. Everything worked alright, it turned on, loaded everything, but only stayed on for about a minute. After soft resetting it a few times it is now stuck on the three colored screen. I've tried hard resetting it (the prompt comes up, I hit yes), but then it just goes back to the same three colored screen. The screen says:
TITA100
SPL-1.2.Olipro
& then at the bottom it says Serial.
I've tried putting wm 6.1 back on it, but I keep getting error 290.
I would REALLY love some help!
I managed to use the microSD method to get windows 6.5 & the needed radio for it. My problem now is that it is stuck in a reboot loop. It'll stay on for about a minute and then reset. I figure it is because I need olipro 2.40, but i have a 64-bit computer that won't support it. Any suggestions?
