I used Xperia 1 before, rightnow I just put the 0 on
I use X10
is any apps or possible to use the HTC dialer on X10
cause the X10 dialer is so.... not smart
It will not auto search the contact when I press the keypad
also the contact find function is not direct, after the found, I still press the name > mobile phone
I hope the X10 can use the dialer which like X1 "sorry... my X1 use custom rom which contain Manila 2.5"

But I was also hoping it would include the HTC Dialer as well. Is this included or is it another app? I have tried searching for HTC Dialer for android but does not come back with any result.

Now I use aContacts, but aContacts with X10 maybe trigger a bug
if the contact with FaceBook Link, maybe the aContacts will now show this contact, but sometime you edit the "lost" contact again, then will show up on the aContacts again, anyway aContacts is so good

its free and you can replace default dialer. speed dial, T9, all what you missing from keyboard.

I'm just guessing, but based on the fact the X10 uses the highest resolution available on any Android phone (854x480), I'd have to think hi-res.
The initiator of the thread asked for HTC dialer. I tried the suggested apps but they are crap... I was also using HTC dialer on my X1 and was very good. Actually a good dialer application is something that X10 is missing. I am looking forward for other suggestions.

Actually, I upgraded to the latest R2BA020 and it worked ;-)

I had exactly the same problem with the V2.1 (like I said on the previous page) but the V2 works fine.
I used to have a stock HTC ROM but I'm using Essential 1.4 at the moment.

I tried this one, but it caused the screen to crash, thank god that touchflo 3d still worked,
and I still could digged up the ARP to remove this program.

On my old stock ROM and my new custom ROM the V2 cab worked. But if you use landscape mode you should make your own high resolution for all tabs cab files to install (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=503511&highlight=hdwall). For some reason the rotation is quicker this way...
And Flip It makes it even quicker still...

Well, the stock ROM and Essential 1.4 both has the probs shown in my second pic. Could you check if ya see it as well?

No i wont have custom roms.
For some strange reason i got it to work fine now..
I also had the white "block" up in the right corner,but now it's gone.

Rotate to landscape and go trough menus and back and the block is gone
Maybe not the easyest way but it works.
You can also use changescreen..

download it , copy it to sdcard , run it from there.

Yah 2.1 is the problem. This thread was started months ago when 2.1 wasn't out yet, only 1.6.
Edit: I would also like a version of this that works on 2.1 if anyone has one or knows of one. The Google search widget on 2.1 only has the magnifying glass and no voice search option. Thanks!

Not sure where that's at. I tried looking on the market and looked around on the web a bit. All I could find was the new voice search for 2.2+ everywhere.

i think u need special font. Try droid.cab. You can find that in my signature.

Hey, Thanks! It works! But there is still an issue with some of the Characters... i can't see all of them when i'm writing (with keyboard activated) and when i'm closing it everything appears to be normal... i tested it with the sunglobe.cab but still no success. Just vice versa... working text but no characters in the keyboard's menu... i installed it to my Device's Memory and installed the font even FIRST but...argh! This whole 'I want to write chinese' - keeps me busy for half a year now... !!

Owhh... guess that file only works on Blackstone only. Sorry.
But now I'm testing CHS but apparently it didn't work well with my phone, as in I have to install another CHT (not Co0kie ) input before this so that I can write in CHS. Besides, the 4 navigation arrows gone. I guess yea, it can't be installed on WVGA after all. =(
well i guess that simply the skim is not meant for wvga but if you want to write chinese use touchpal.,. thereis a great chinese ime + font,dict,ect. integrated... BUT the keyboard is pretty small on devices with smaller screens...

EDIT: The lockscreen question was a bit far fetched, I do know that the lockscreen depends on the MIUI backends... so that won't be happening soon. Maybe a complete MIUI port XD

I fixed the Music link, also if the menus are in Chinese you should be able to fix it with a reboot if not post back here and let me know. Everything shows up English on my tablet but I'm on the Verizon Tab there may be some differences.

I found 2 bugs:
1) when you're on the player and press back the bar at the bottom of the screen shows another song. This happens also when you're in the player. To fix it just lock and unlock the screen.
2) widget on lockscreen only have forward or next song, it doesn't have rewind or previous song.
Also it would be useful if on lockscreen widget there is also repeat tracks or random button as Samsung one.

It works on cm12 only thing that's is crashing is music enhancer which I don't use. Do you have the keyboard from the skyDragon?
I have the one from play store but I doubt it's the same ?

I downloaded the rom and extracted the keyboard however lang pack isnt compatible.
